  1. Is this true or speculation? I'd have thought they'd let him have next season rather than having to pay him off.
  2. I wouldn't encourage people to be dragging up old posts with your history.
  3. He does it with every manager, even Coyle. Remember the Chaddometer? That was during Coyle's dingle comedy roadshow.
  4. The manager admitted in the post match interview that he's dicked about with his team in an attempt to exploit the opposition. I'd point towards that being a bigger problem than some psychological kryptonite. I wish he'd play to their strengths rather than against the oppo's weaknesses. Like he did last match when he had to throw a dice to get a result.
  5. This is supposedly it. Elliot up front, Armstrong on left, Gallagher on right, no width in midfield. Extraordinarily bad management when we've got the second top scorer in the league, the one on the right is a big number 9 with no particular skill in crossing or running, and the kid upfront was doing great in his preferred position. Then you look at how that choice of forwards has affected the midfield. I'm no football tactician by any means but even I can see that this is an absolute mess.
  6. If I were the journo I'd have followed up with the question, why keep Dolan on the bench if you want to exploit their full back? Honestly the guy is a dick.
  7. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19071176.mowbray-explains-elliott-positioning-rovers-defeat-qpr/ According to this Gallagher was playing alongside Armstrong. On Elliot playing centrally, I'd be surprised if Liverpool are happy with their golden kid being played out of position. He looks like a shadow of the player when he was playing in his correct position. It can't be easy playing for Mowbray constantly swapping you about like a panini sticker.
  8. The luckiest part of it was that they chanced against a nobhead who continues to put big lummox £5m strikers out wide, naturally gifted wingers in the middle or on the bench, plays players out of form and doesn't reward good performers (who rescued him last match) with a start. Chances to score for sure but it was an abomination of a performance with some bizarre tactical choices.
  9. I say bring Abby back and he and J*B can settle it on Ewood McDonalds car park.
  10. There's a couple of bottles of Smirnoff from Christmas that keep winking at me. If I drink enough I can pretend Mowbray is the man like the alcoholics on Facebook.
  11. Dack, Elliot and Dolan deep. Gallagher playing as a kind of winger. A centre half playing as a full back. Absolutely bizarre decision making. Winging it.
  12. I think Tony started drinking this morning.
  13. I'm amazed you can last till tomorrow after that bilge.
  14. The fact we've just signed a supposedly excellent full back that we can't play till next year explains a lot.
  15. I saw Bell, then Gallagher, then Elliot, then Rothwell and thought same old Mowbray. Four players there that haven't warranted a spot in the team for one reason or another. That's why we have no consistency. Then I spent £10 to watch it. I'm more angry at myself really. That said I've never seen Mowbray go quite that batshit insane during a game before. I think we played something like 55 formations. At one stage Dolan and Elliot were at the back and the full backs were both forward. It's like a big Championship Manager experiment to him I'm sure of it. Been asking this for a while now but why's he playing Gallagher on the wing when we have Dolan and why does it seem to be accepted as a completely normal thing to do by a lot of Rovers fans?
  16. Probably the best way of watching Rovers.
  17. Yeah I'm watching the game, that's what I'm focusing on. He lost the ball unchallenged. What positives are you seeing exactly? At present we're losing and it's been f***ing turgid. Pass and move, who coached him Stevie Wonder?
  18. Brereton just tackled himself.
  19. What an unwatchable mess of a game. Rovers look really rag-tag.
  20. He'll bring Brereton on before Dolan.
  21. Fair enough, though I wouldn't say he's been as bad as the rest of the token passengers today. If he was actually played in the right position he may fare better.
  22. Elliot, Rothwell, Davenport not in this game.
  23. Gonna f*** this up aren't we.
