  1. We aren't talking about him jumping higher than you, we're talking about him jumping higher than opposition players in a defensive capacity. Though I'd still put my money on you winning that contest.
  2. About 5cm, watch him during corners. Smaller players beat him all the time and not just due to timing. He barely gets off the ground. Either he needs to lose some weight or work on his leg muscles.
  3. I'm going to be the one to say it but Douglas wasn't bad today.
  4. It said top of the big chance missed category, which I took as meaning he was in a good position to score, not every miss he's made. I'm not sure how you can disagree with him scoring over half of his "big chances". He's joint top scorer of the league. I'd say our problems are in other areas of the pitch.
  5. Happy new year all and to the backroom staff, thanks for keeping the site going. It's not an easy task.
  6. He gets into a lot of good goalscoring positions and scores well over half of them?
  7. I've just seen the line up. Mowbray must love a good hiding. How has Gallagher earned himself a regular place?
  8. Well... Let's see what misery they dish up today.
  9. He could get away with playing players out of position and ropey subs in L1. Had a very good player in Dack at the heart of the team which papered over a lot of cracks, the defence was problematic back then.
  10. Fighting against relegation in the Premier League would mean wiping out a lot of debt the club currently has. I thought that was the pressing concern, or has that problem gone away? (genuinely asking as a lot of people don't seem to be overly troubled by this any more)
  11. The related articles at the bottom sum up Tony's reign.
  12. He's been better but I expect a lot more from a player we bet the family silver on. This year he's been a nuisance which has helped out players gain some space, but we could have paid a lot less for someone to do that role. For me a decent centre half would have been preferable at the time. If Mowbray wanted a winger he should have bought a winger. With the money that he spent on the Brereton project he probably could have bought both. But I'm not blaming any one player for the shambles on the pitch this evening, I'm not sure if any of them knew what their actual role was.
  13. The players have looked very disorganised for the past few games, defence a shambles. Playing midfielders in defence. Strikers on the wing. Signings have all but one not improved the team, some have actually made us worse. Two of them cost a combined £12m. It looks as if the players have stopped playing for him. Mowbray has to go now.
  14. Out of his ear it looks like.
  15. More of the same old dross isn't it.
  16. Why do we get into crossing positions then pass back to the halfway line?
  17. I don't get the hate for Trybull, breaks up play and passes it. That's his job. Maybe if he played more, or sitting in the stands I'd see it. There are far worse players at the moment. Douglas, Gallagher, Lenihan get in the team every week and disappoint far more, especially Douglas who hasn't put a foot right.
  18. Intelligence isn't one of Mowbray's traits. He tries to be cerebral but his way is simply to set up the team and hope they get good. He's pretty much stated this in interviews.
  19. I didn't see that, he didn't look match fit and lacked sharpness which is to be expected. Good that he's on the road to full fitness though.
  20. Still pricking about with the ball till the last minute. 60 MINUTES till a change after that dross. Douglas staying on for a full 90 after being terrible since he came here. Mowbray you failed us as a manager in 2020, and I fully expect you to do the same in 2021. 2 points lost. Poor.
  21. Chance for 3 points today, players shite and manager shiter. Waited till 60 mins to make any changes after that dross.
