  1. Well done to burnley to be honest... 25 million for a player whom they wont miss too much.
  2. Our fringe players are so bad, it pulls the rest down to their level.. Edun, Dolan, Pears. Rothwell, drifts and glides alot but nothing comes out of those runs. Mind's probably in Glasglow. Ben, worst game since he became Diaz. Over complacent, cant dribble for god sake. Edun just clueless at left back. Dont wish to blame him but he's no Pickering. Dolan, 10 million stepovers. Useless. Pears, no comments. As-is. Only ones who deserve some credit are the 2 Brighton loanees and Ayala.
  3. Get in Ayala! And bravos to Van Hecke for winning the freekick in the first place. He doesnt need to be so high up and hes a freaking loanee and yet he cares enough not to be on a losing side.
  4. At 1-nil our players thought we had it in the bag. Utter shite game management. Esp Ben. Maybe he thinks he a Chile superstar now, a third round FA Cup is not his cup of tea. And Pears is the purest shit of all.
  5. Serve us right. Overcomplacent. Ben so poor, lost the ball so many times. Let Butterworth have a chance.
  6. Fine Hull, compensate both set of fans, give us the 3 points and award a hat trick to Diaz. Done. They are frightened cats. They knew Diaz is going to shred them apart whether its the first team or U23, or juniors team.
  7. Really excited about this game. If we can tonk Hull 19-0, we will be top for at least a couple of days!
  8. This 3 centerback defence is working miracles now! Wharton, Van Heck, Lenihan + Ayala from bench. They will eat strikers for lunches. They complement each other so well at the moment. Lenihan seems to be playing so much better, even if he makes a mistake, Van Heck is there. And Wharton is as steady as rock. Lets hope we can keep this team and everyone around after Jan. A+ on the report card for Rovers for the first half of the season for me. No doubt.
  9. Shoutout to Pears. Did extremely well in Kaminski's absence. Made a few good saves and is very good with his kicking (better than Kaminski tbh). Deserve to keep his spot for the time being. The 3 CBs are working extremely well at the moment. Lenihan, Wharton (hope his injury isnt serious!) and Van Hecke. Heading away almost every ball into the box. Buckley coming of age. Boy, he can tackle! Gally did well too when he came on.. worked hard for the team. Brereton wasnt clinical tonight, got into really good positions but didnt make full use of it. Could have had a hat trick! Missed 2 one-on-ones. Lost the ball a few times.
  10. Horrible condition but we found a win with a bit of class from Brereton. What a header - totally deserving of a derby winner. We need him to stay in Jan! Never thought i will be saying this but well done Tony, for turning it around after the Fulham game.
  11. I bookmarked the page when i eventually found it. But today i cant find it again. Anyone has this issue too?
  12. Brereton is just unstoppable now. That level of confidence to finish his second goal. Last season, he will probably be looking to cross for Armstrong to tap into an open goal. But this season, just wow. This Chile thing has certainly give him a massive boost in his self-belief and his own abilities. 16 goals already. Arma had 28 last season. Hope he stays with us and injury-free!
  13. I'm certainly slowly warming up to Buckley. Physique aside, his passing and vision for play is definitely the one of the best in the team (beside Rothwell). I definitely want him in the starting 11 now (in midfield, not right back) and he has earned it over the course of the season so far. Credits when it's due. Well done Buckley.
  14. We need Rothwell signed! The Rothwell/Gally combo is working somehow.
  15. I don't think we did that baaadly. We were somewhat decent at the back, just lack cutting edge, and Gally hitting the post. Abit disappointing with our crosses.
  16. Tony will rather put a loanee on the bench than our own in-form youth players. Happy to be proven wrong!
