  1. episode 5 is short but really emotional. exactly the kind of note you want to finish on. a heart wrenching finale just enough left open to get you thinking about a series 2. Clem is awesome!
  2. Please tell me someone else is playing the Walking Dead game by TellTale. I've just finished the final episode and bloody hell was it good! So many tough choices. I've never been so emotionally moved by a game in my life! If you haven't played it, I won't spoil anything. It's on offer on Steam at the moment for under a tenner (I think) Go get it so I have someone to talk to about it!
  3. I'm not sure if it was released in England but I just saw the french comedy "Intouchables" Very highly recommended with at least 5 laugh out loud scenes. link
  4. This is what they sell down my local takeaway
  5. Cracking game as predicted. Korea equalise in the last minute of extra time but were blumming awful in the penalties. Man of the Match was Honda by a country mile. This guy has to make a top European move soon.
  6. Korea v. Japan in the semi final today/tonight,depending where you are. If you've been disappointed with the quality of the tournament so far, this game will certainly change your mind. There is no love lost between the two nations either, as the Koreans take on the old enemy.
  7. After moving back to blighty from Seoul last year, I've been missing the food over there a lot! I finally managed to go and try the Koreana, a Korean restaurant off Deansgate. I didn't know what to expect really, as I thought it might be some kind of toned down fusion restaurant. However my Korean gf and I were nicely surprised - this is as authentic as it gets. And two course for a tenner its decent value. I had the Dwegi galbi (sweet marinated ribs) and Dolsot bibimbap (rice, beef and veg all mixed in spicy sauce in a hot stone bowl) and she had chicken and potato in sweet sauce and a beef dumpling soup. If you've never tried Korean before, I'd recommend this place for your first experience. It cleaner and less greasy than a Chinese, but unlike Japanese food, has some really big spicy flavours.
  8. Irish mate of mine studying over here knew I'd get a kick out of it
  9. Sick of feeling disappointed by most offerings from the cardboard cut out bands recently, I decided work my way through the top albums of all time according to Rolling Stone magazine. RS 500 I'm on Van Morrison, Astral Weeks at the moment. Fantastic
  10. Le Saux's was an absolute screamer too from over 30 yards.
  11. Currently playing Mass Effect on the PC. Didn't play the 360 version, but this game is frikkin awesome! If you ever played and like the Star Wars KOTOR games on xbox, Bioware have taken all the good work from that, put it into an entirely new world, added some strong shooting action and elevated the RPG for the newt generation. The main character is brilliant! P.S.I had a quick look around and don't think it was mentioned earlier. P.P.S. I was gonna edit 'newt generation" but it sounds too funny.
  12. I always think I don't have heroes, but when I watch things like that, I realise Friedel really is my hero! the guy is a flippin legend!! SSN puts something like that on and then devote another 20 minutes to money grabbing prima donas like Ronaldo and it just puts it all into perspective. My respect for Friedel, Nelsen, Craig Short and Arjen De Zeeuw gets greater and greater and my contempt for Ronaldo, Anelka and yes, Bentley grows too.
  13. With every season we are in the top flight of English football, with every kick off at Ewood Park with all the optimism and anticipation that brings, with every star that comes into town and pays tribute to our beloved old club, the legacy of Uncle Jack continues to this day. He made this possible and he would be proud of us because we are proud of him. Sing your hearts out for Jack Walker!
  14. Bentley actually came on to Talk Sport and spoke honestly about his decision. He made it quite clear this was his choice and that he had explained himself fully to Pearce. Refreshing honesty considering the fame grabbing tired out players of the last world cup who didn't own up to their fatigue and cost England dearly. Bentley has not only his, but England's best interests at heart as he prepares himslef for the long season ahead leading up to Euro 2008. The presenters are fully backing him. Bentley came across as if he has matured greatly and after I got over the disappointment of his withdrawal I'm proud of him.
  15. Could mean anything you or he wants it to. People kiss things they're leaving, they kiss things they love. Silly gesture at the best of times. If he came out and said I don't want or intend to go, those who wanted to believe it would and those who are more sceptical wouldn't. He's put himself in a difficult position if he really said what the Sun is quoting as saying as well as putting the club and its fans in a difficulrt position going into tomorrow's match. Usually we laugh at his babblings - this time we just wish he'd had the common sense and decency to keep the mouth shut for another few days.
  16. Presumably Man U and Bolton get round the contractual obligation bit by sending out their assistants both of whom have unspellable names!
