  1. For those that have not heard this: Newell on Five Live Need Real Player
  2. I'm actually quite nervous about this game. I think we will draw, 1-1.
  3. Good work lads. As a PR student, I am amazed at the lack of PR activity from the club. I am itching to get in there and strutt my stuff One thing I agree with is transport. When I was staying in Darwen, I only knew where the stadium was after driving past it in a Taxi from Blackburn Station. I ended up walking to the ground as I, obviously an international supporter, had no idea about local transport. I ended up almost getting in to trouble in the form of some unsavoury Wolves supporters. Here in Brisbane we have free council buses that transport supporters of both the Brisbane Broncos and Brisbane Lions Australian Rules team from the CBD direct to the ground. This is something that should be looked at. My geography of the area is not great and they may already be running, but maybe buses from the station, city centre and an areas such as Darwen, Preston etc. I also wouldn't mind seeing the overseas supporters being embraced more by the club. The main reason for my holiday to the UK, apart from shagging all your birds, was to see Rovers. I was involved with the overseas members club, run by Barbara McGhee, but as stated by somebody once before, I would never of known this existed if I hadn't of seeked it out myself.
  4. I knew we would end up with Brazil Japanese are nippy (no pun intended) little beggars. So we should use our physical presence to our advantage there to secure a win. Croatia, who knows what to expect really.
  5. After reading an article about the Marketing/PR department at Man Utd, clearly we are lacking in such areas. Is the club not concerned about this?
  6. I'm off to bed. Can't put up with another five goals being scored.
  7. The way their players went up to Souness a couple of times I say he has them all on side. At the moment anyway.
  8. The present generation? These types of chants have been around for years. Unless you're jim and count people of the last 50 years as "present generation"
  9. I think there is nothing wrong with it, but there is a boundary that shouldn't be crossed. I personally believe that this wasn't the case. Now bring on Brum.
  10. I'd also like to congratulate the Maltese on their 1-1 draw against Croatia. Bravo
  11. Why Hodge isn't playing is beyond me.
  12. Not durable jim? Hmm bit like Simon Jones a couple of years ago?
  13. Seems like the last couple of weeks the English players have been giving it via the media. Hope it doesn't come back and bite them on the arse.
  14. Well that normally happens when you play better cricket
  15. Agreed. Congratulations anyway mate.
  16. I'm sick of all this crap going on in the world. I have plenty of Muslim friends who feel just as bad as I do.
  17. I'm Australian born to Maltese parents, so as far as I'm concerned I am both. I am a dual citizen, therefore I get to enjoy the best of both worlds!
  18. I don't want to see Cole back either, but if it is between him and Jansen and I suppose we have no choice
  19. But you know as well as I do that, had the Aussies beaten us, all you convicts would have been rushing on here to crow about how you're the greatest. In reality yesterday's win means next to nothing when determining who's going to win the Ashes. What it does do though is just put another little chink in the Aussies "invincible" reputation. England have now won the last three matches against the Aussies and our confidence is growing with each win. England are already a good team. Give them confidence, show them that the Aussies are beatable, and who knows how good England could be this summer. 323564[/snapback] Not really a cricket follower nowdays, but would like to see the English win the Ashes.
  20. Hmmm, a win at 'backyard cricket' and the Ashes are yours. And you guys have a go at Australians and their egos.
  21. English summer aka Australian winter
