  1. We hardly have a sell on fee, do we? Could be a loan either. Could be a good match there.
  2. I would prefer to sign a good keeper who has to quarantine v a bad one who doesn't! A lad on loan now from a PL team and we are laughing.
  3. If it's on his head there will be a scratching sound if a winger actually does winger stuff
  4. I reckon Duffy will end up at Celtic
  5. If there is a "Mowbray cam", I'm in
  6. You would think they would sell more at 2.99 than 5.99. I can see many spending that much on a friendly. The 4 camera angles and replays sound good though.
  7. I wonder would they take 1 million and Wharton on loan for the season
  8. Ya, it's Linehan and Arthur Matthews in the scene. I'm not following it too much, but I think he is just of the view you are the gender you are born and it's not popular online to say that loudly-case in point number 2 JK Rowling. Linehan does seem to be spending a lot of time doing it online though, so he should probably take a break and go write something funny again.
  9. Comical scene. Factoid- The lads are actually the writers of Father Ted
  10. Well it was in context about Lenihan , but I think your winky that you are joking
  11. Lenihan called into the Ireland squad for Kennys first games. 1 of 3 center halves with Egan and Duffy. Looks like he is being primed to be 3rd choice. Big season coming up for him. Moved ahead of a few guys in the Pl who aren't starters and with Keogh and O'Shea out of it now, potential is there to really push on now. Can only be good for us!
  12. Absolute fact. I even think messaging players on Instagram or Twitter is too much!
  13. Logically they could afford neither, particularly Williams. Anyway, Mulgrew left there last season because things didn't work out.
  14. 0.99 cent and we might talk business
  15. The PSG forwards just didn't have the bottle when it mattered. Mbappe missed 2 chances that if Brereton missed people would be doing cartwheels in frustration Also, is Thomas Mueller the most under rated player in world football? Unbelievable winner Didn't like the look of that Lewandowski guy, bit of a diver
  16. It's very dependent on how the keeper goes. It's been part of a larger problem with the defence, but if we had someone better last season, we might have made the play-offs
  17. Ya,but he's 2 inches taller heightwise than Buckley , that makes a difference. Trousers are ridiculous though. I couldn't find a leg circumference ?
  18. I'm sure they do rate him, he looks tidy at times, but do you really think that would say if they didn't? ? If he stays around like it looks like he will he will have to play and when he does he needs to be stronger on the ball to be really effective. It would be great if he had a break out season
  19. At this level or above you need strength or to be an absolute baller to play that role. Physically similar sized players would be David and Bernardo Silva, Modric, all harder to knock off the ball and winners of the very top honours in club and international football. Buckley isn't good enough to break into our starting 11 with the players here. If he's as good as some on here make him out to be(and which I hope to see someday) there should be no shortage of league 1 clubs prepared to start him week in ,week out in his best position. That's the best route for him now.
  20. Well I suppose winning them goes hand in hand with playing well. So if we lost today, I'm sure there would be concern. But ya, ultimately it was just a good run out for 2 different teams getting 45 min each.
  21. That keeper ,Kipre and another centre half ,possibly the German would be a really good start. I just think we are going to be relying on certain players stepping up big time like Gallagher, Brereton,Chapman and Rothwell, but I suppose we are where we are. If those 4 got going and supported Dack and Armstrong, we might do ok.
  22. Ya,I would say way less, but I would like a decision made soon one way or another! Good lad to have around, but should be a bench option, not a starter.
