  1. To be honest though, when I saw Nixons tweet first I thought it said Charlie Austin and I was very excited
  2. On Adam, if we got Smallwood out or if Rodwell doesn't sign, then he could be a good addition. Personally I would take Rodwell out of the 3 of them though. He's out of contract now isn't he? Taking the piss mate.
  3. Ya, I would have had him out instead of Raya too ideally. I really think Lenihan needs to be captain sooner rather than later and I can't see that happening with Mulgrew here. I think Lenihan generally plays better when he isn't partnered with Mulgrew. It allows him to take the lead and I think that is what works for him.
  4. Ya, I have seen worse. Jesus some matches years ago could have had 20 shots like that. Personally I find some of slams onto the apron or outside the ring to be far more cringe inducing. Oh ya and piledrivers.
  5. For me, the biggest culprits last season were Raya and Mulgrew. One or both had to go. Mulgrew is captain and there are his set piece deliveries. I am optimistic that he can improve and hopefully a new centre half being brought in will give him that kick up the backside. That leaves Raya. I mean even those now moaning that he might be sold, would you really have been happy/confident with him starting the season as number 1? I would feel much better with someone else. I like Raya though and it would be a shame if he left, but maybe he isn't prepared to be a number 2. He is far from irreplaceable.
  6. Wait, wait ,wait. How can this not be seen as an attempt to sort the back 4 out? Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.... Those who slated Raya last season are now slating Mowbray for firstly dropping him and now potentially selling him. Do ye not feel silly moving goalposts constantly to suit the moan?? We need more young players until we sign an older player, then it's back to us needing young players because we signed an older player. There is always an angle for the moan.
  7. Nuttall I reckon. Hopefully he gets a good move to a team who will be competing and creating plenty of chances. Could do him the world of good Que dorks coming in saying we should loan Brereton in 5...4...3....2.....
  8. One was on loan their last season and the other is only a young lad. Like the goalkeeper we signed who you were complaining about. If/when Clarke and Philips go they will be considerably weaker. It's Adam, no s at the end.
  9. You mean selling Clarke and Philips , arguably their 2 best players? Ya, they are getting down to business alright.
  10. When did we sign him? I missed that
  11. I thought we needed experience? We have a young team, one of the youngest in the division.
  12. He is under 23 player. Do we not need them? Silly comment
  13. Why wouldn't we see the fee? We spent over £10 million last summer without selling anyone of note.
  14. Ed Woodward insists Manchester United are working hard to sign more "exciting" players who fit the "long-term vision" of the club. "Despite the inflated nature of the transfer market and constant speculation and stories, which can be misleading, the recruitment team - in conjunction with the manager [Ole Gunnar Solskjaer] - are working calmly behind the scenes to bring in other exciting players that fit their long-term vision for the club," Woodward wrote.
  15. They have money due to some recent and upcoming sales, plus I don't see us selling him for peanuts. 2-3 million with add ons.
  16. Man , you didn't know Raya was linked with a move I have read the guys you mentioned linked, along with Scott Carson and Thomasz Kuzsack. Either of them would fill me with far more confidence than Raya to be honest.
  17. We have been linked with a number of keepers.
  18. How he was treated? He was dropped after making a number of howlers. Absolute disaster? Seriously, it wouldn't be. He isn't Dack or Lenihan It's amazing how the most negative of posters move the goalposts. The very same ones calling for Raya to be dropped complain when we sell him. It's comical.
  19. Yes, it has been mentioned by a number of journalists online. it would seem there is something in it.
  20. Time will tell. I reckon it will be 4-5 million including add-ons Ya, it's a surprise alright. He could well develop further and improve on the faults he has, but will he ever be a Premier league keeper? It's hard to see it now after last season. Crosses and kicking cause him huge issues. The kicking in particular is something that if he hasn't gotten it by now, I wonder why that is.
  21. He plays up to the cameras now for sure, but I don't think he thinks he is an intellectual or that he even wants to be. In fact I think intellectuals would probably go in the long list of "people Roy hates" Something went down for sure, I would say Keane got out to save having another sacking on his CV. They are racking up now.
  22. Fake news He was doing what he always did, the reason Ferguson got rid of him this time was because he wasn't the same player and was getting injured a lot. The right call in fairness from a football point of view, but Ferguson only used the MUTV thing as an excuse.
  23. Ya, I am thinking it will be 2-2.5 upfront with the rest in add-ons and possibly even a sell on clause. The more upfront the better imo. So hopefully it's more that that.
  24. Watched the buy in last night. The opening tag match was very good. Even if Private party looked a bit out of place. I suppose the "got their shit in". I turned it off during the next segment with the librarians. What was that about? Looking forward to catching the full show.
