  1. So who would you play there and why? It's easy to be the critical moaner, get off the fence and get some skin in the game.
  2. Do we always need defensive cover? I thought the complaint was we had too much of that and needed more creativity? Travis could do it I think anyway and if not, get Evans back in. Who would you put in the middle?
  3. So now that we have ticked the predicted moans off in relation to Grayson and Hart, what about the other players?
  4. Not if he replaces Evans and partners Travis
  5. It's your lazy opinion, I can't say its a lie! All 3 players are individuals and each move had it's own nuances.
  6. I don't dig out any posts like some of the petty crew here. I just comment on what I see. If my posts bother, just put me on ignore. What's next? Are you going to threaten to slap heads off concrete again? ??
  7. The Whittingham/ Murphy trope strikes again!
  8. The couch scouts say players aren't good without every seeing them pay. Is that difficult for you to understand? It seems to be ,because you are answering something I didn't say. How do you know the couch scouts I am referring to are regulars at games when I never named anyone? That's funny, you must have some posters in mind
  9. Ya, except Lowe put a lot of the recycling into the regular bin. No, for sure, we need someone in the middle with creativity. The Evans/Smallwood axis served it's purpose in league 1 and was given too much time last season. Travis should be a starter, so I wonder could Downing be a good partner for him? A modern day Tugay/Savage partnership would be great.
  10. The poster mentions in the opening post that the reason Woodgate didn't was for fear of being accused of conflict of interest/favouritism.
  11. See this is a prime example of a negative post. From my post about the exciting young players going on pre-season, this is the angle you choose to take on it. Yes, we are all entitled to our opinions Ok, well, if he is that bad, we won't see him breaking through, what about the other guys going though. Any positives there?
  12. You weren't very clear, as usual. I still don't get you and I couldn't be bothered delving further. You only do negativity well. Just put me on ignore, or remind yourself not to respond. I have better things to be doing.
  13. Really positive stuff that ; Magloire, Buckley, Butterworth, Hart, Grayson and Wharton are all potentially travelling to Austria with the first team. Add them to Brereton, Armstrong, Davenport, Chapman and a few others I am probably forgetting and that's a really good bunch of young players. Great to see Mowbray giving them opportunities to shine in pre-season.
  14. I think its a fairly universal saying, so can't be credited to being a "Mowbrayism". It is used over here a lot for Glen Whelan, make of that what you will ?
  15. He must be like "ffs again???" Ya, apparently he played well. It would not surprise me if we got a few bids after this. Surely loads of scouts over there. I really like Nyambe and I think he has huge potential. I hope we don't accept a bid, but it does worry me more than Dack leaving.
  16. If we do badly what would be the point of reminding me of that post? I have never said we will do well. It's too early for predictions yet. Some of you should remember that.
  17. So sack a manager who reached our target of mid table over signing an England under 19 international that he has stated needed time to settle in. Mmm ok then. I think the money could have been spent elsewhere, but sacking him over it? Come on
  18. I have plenty of goes at him, so that's nonsense. Ya, maybe he wasn't ready. Would that be in the category of the "manager getting it wrong" though? Worth getting him in for a look at League 1 level anyway, he could be going to the Champions of Europe this summer. Like many players we sign, the "experts" here were on saying he wasn't good enough. If he played so little for us, I do wonder how you all formed your opinions
  19. Deffo and I am entitled to mine too!
  20. I'm talking about before they see the player actually play. It happens on here and you know it
  21. With all this talk of us signing Gallagher can I just ask those postera who don't think he is a good signing, to just say that once please. Some posters will literally tell you they don't like the manager or players every hour, on the hour. Ye know who ye are!
  22. Fans want us to get the Eddie Howes before he becomes famous. For every Eddie Howe there are 50 "young managers" who do jack shit. They are retrospective football experts. It's the same with signings, "oh we should sign a top quality striker and CB for 3 million each". Who should we sign? "oh I don't know, it's not my job to know."
