  1. The UEFA lads keeping busy!
  2. Here, below. You literally said exactly that. Anyway, done with this conversation. "In two and a half years since Mowbray arrived, are we really that much better off or placed as a football club than when he arrived. I think not. "
  3. Yes. Your quote is below. "In two and a half years since Mowbray arrived, are we really that much better off or placed as a football club than when he arrived. I think not. "
  4. I don't get you, do you mean him or Coleraine?
  5. If you think we were in a better position as a club before Mowbray took over, fair enough. I don't know how anyone could think that, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.
  6. Yes, much better. I think anyone looking at things rationally can see that.
  7. I read a couple of weeks back that Boetang had an interview for the Coleraine job in Northern Ireland.
  8. Third time lucky Well its not going to vastly different going off the tiny reveal so far.
  9. Ya hopefully they make a quick appointment here. In the past this would definitely have been something that would have been left hang possibly even into the new season.
  10. Well Mowbray is running the clubs social media so I assume Waggott is dealing with transfers. What time is Tony tweeting pictures of the new kit today does anyone know?
  11. I must say, I have noticed far less diving in the womens game. Which is kind of funny. Some of the "men" playing now should be ashamed.
  12. No wonder we aren't making any signings ffs!!!!!!!
  13. I think we all agree on that. In fairness the management team aren't responsible for who we are linked with in the tabloids. Big few weeks coming up.....
  14. I think if there is a slump most fans would be hoping Johnson wouldn't be the fall guy. In fact I think he is moving in the direction of the main job at some point. Do Venkys think the same? I would say they wouldn't know very much about him to be honest. I really hope his career is managed well here from this point on.
  15. Yes, Bauer definitely chose not to sign because of Waggot. 100% that's the reason. You cracked the case. If we signed him you would be on saying we need better than players from league 1 ? One thing I will give you, you have a wide focus . Every angle covered
  16. No, that's nonsense, he clearly isn't that type of player. Have you ever seen a second of Beckenbauer play football? I doubt very much that you have. I would probably compare him to someone like Stam , Vidic or Paul McGrath.
  17. You clearly don't understand the point I was making, or the situation being discussed in general.
  18. Ya, ideally the earlier the better, but the reality is players are weighing up their option now and many are holding off to see if better offers come in. The decision then is do we wait and hope one of our top targets picks us , or do we move down the list. We could still miss out on the top targets even if we do wait though, which is what I suspect happened last summer. I think waiting til late in the window is de rigeur for most clubs. I suspect it could be even worse this year with the window closing earlier. I think the first week in August will be pandemonium. Hopefully we will have our business done by then. Do I think we will? No. As long as we have the center half in by then, that will be good enough for me , because as you rightly say, the manger isn't one for playing lads without looking at them in training a lot.
  19. Fans moaned on here all last summer that "we have no money to spend", it turned out we did. Don't @ me about how it was spent, that is a separate issue. My point remains. Now it's about not signing players and as you say yourself, the window isn't closed! Mowbray was interviewed in Austria today and said that he is looking forward to new signings joining up with the group as it brings out everyones competitiveness. So like we are going to sign players, there is no doubt about that.
  20. Is Lindsay that good though? Stoke only paid slightly over £2 million for him
  21. So Leicester rejected a £70 million bid from United for Maguire. Football getting crazier by the day. Also, do any of you follow Mulgrew on Instagram? he posted a video yesterday of him coming 2nd in the parents race at his kids sports day. 2nd to......Paul Gallagher ?
  22. He was rounded on. All he said was Davenport will be like a new signing. First post sarcastically said "Thanks Tony" , the next one said that he had been fooled. Both were within minutes of his post. I am glad to see though that considerably more posters have since backed up his view that he will indeed be like a new signing.
  23. Thank's for the stats on my posts. Not so sure on the opinion piece mind.
