  1. Absolutely zero change we would have turned down an 8 figure bid for Buckley 18 months ago. We wouldn't turn it down now and really, should we?
  2. Imagine if we didn't concede that 8th minute injury time equaliser we would be third after so many of us predicted we would be turd this season!
  3. Best player by miles. Hopefully he keeps fit
  4. No not totally I suppose, but the defence drops back and seems to let teams get shots off. We concede a fair few from long distance. Maybe it's a fitness thing being unable to keep the pressing intensity up, but we can't just let teams get shots off, not all are as toothless as Hull
  5. Thats the key point. They didn't have the quality, but we still have them too many chances. It's a huge issue. It's why games are rarely straight forward. If Moncur was better, he curls that chance in near the end, then it's 2-1 and we get even more nervous and probably concede again. We need to be braver and trust ourselves to score again when winning , not just retreat back and give the opposition pot shots at goal, because we have seen enough times the better players will punish us, simple as that.
  6. No,some opinions are wrong. Keith Hill, who someone suggested not too long ago for example. Ainsworth is borderline. Far better candidates out there. Your assertion that "we don't know how he would play" doesn't make sense, as we do have an idea based off his managerial career to date. He signed the players for Wycombe to play his way. By your logic we could say the same thing about Mick McCarthy, or is it ok to make decisions on his style and approach based off his career to date? He wasn't sacked by Ireland, his contract ended and first time around ,when we had good players, he played a great style of football and we should have bet Spain at the 2002 world cup and progressed to the quarter finals.
  7. I have nothing against him, I just think Rovers fans over rate him. Case in point.
  8. We give teams opportunities and that's why better teams punish us
  9. I think Blackburn fans enjoy tense endings to games. I used the name Blackburn deliberately. The crowd always seem to get edgy
  10. In some ways, yes. Very good point
  11. Don't think he'll make it, 14-16 I reckon
  12. Pickering reminds me a bit of Seamus Coleman. Not the most physically imposing, but clever on the ball. Coleman is far more tenacious though, hopefully Pickering can add that
  13. That guy is the f**king man!
  14. Buckley and Clarkson have been about 3/10 and that's being generous
  15. Decent ball by Ronnie Pickering
  16. Why do I still expect better lol, its the goals I suppose
  17. No, we are getting overrun by being tactically outplayed
  18. Rubbish. So long to wait and then that. Why are the commentators saying it was a good delivery?
  19. There is always such a lack of urgency!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. This is a strange watch after the joyous scenes at the United game
