He has had a fair bit of game time. From this and training Mowbray doesn't think he should start yet. Williams, for all the criticism he gets, has his strengths and I would imagine supporters would be split on who should start. It doesn't mean Bell was a bad signing or we shouldn't have signed him. If we hadn't I am 100% certain that a left back would be on everybody's wish list this window. It's comments like "we shouldn't have signed bell" or "why did we sign bell" that really make it evident that managers can't win.
