  1. No, but both seem disciplined enough to do the dirty defensive work too. Would someone like Chapman do the same? I'm not sure what Maddison is like definsivley. I agree we needed proper wingers, but it seems that's not how Tony rolls! I would like to see Armstrong and Rothwell there. Both seem very mobile and would cause defenders problems.
  2. Small margins I suppose. If Graham takes one of those chances yesterday we are saying 2 in 2 for Graham. He could get 20 this season!
  3. And on Graham, if he does run out of steam after 60 min, it's not his fault if we have anybody who can replace him.
  4. The longer it takes, the worse our season is going to end up. We need a win quick. Anything else is just window dressing.
  5. Ya, I wonder would Palmer be best utilised as direct competition/back up for Dack. I like Rothwell and Armstrong on the wing, two good all rounders
  6. Less than 30 million? Wickham has a lot to prove. His goal record is bad. I think they championship he may be worth a punt , but I would also like another more prolific striker.
  7. Is he on that much?? I would say he could be an interesting option, but Gallagher or Brearton may be first choices on loan to buy deals.
  8. How do you know there would be no option to buy?
  9. The thing about Wickham is that he is only 25. He would be an interesting option as a target man, with Dack, Palmer and Armstrong feeding off hold up balls and knock ons
  10. Linked with Connor Wickham this morning. Between us and Stoke. Might be an interesting option
  11. I remembered that after I posted. Last minute win Ya, Keogh is getting some slating online for his performances. I never really rated him to be honest. Seems Derby have a glut of attacking players, but are light in defence. Could come back to bite them
  12. Bennett in the centre and Armstrong on the wing is the logical and glaring change that needs to be made. Over to you Tony
  13. Good reading the balanced views here about the game. I was very disappointed not to win and probably over reacted a bit. A solid but unspectacular start. I still see us closer to the play offs than the relegation spots.
  14. I bet if Millwall scored one of those ones that hit the post today, we would have come out and probably bet them 2-1. There is something about our team, where we aren't ruthless at times. I like that Travis brings a bit of bite, but Dack wasn't at his snappy best and Smallwood, well I think we know his level now.
  15. Maybe our collective expectations of Dack are too high. I fear the championship may lead to him having a great game less frequently, one in five kind of job. I really hope I'm wrong. Far bigger tests to come too. Couldn't see us getting near Villa, Boro or Swansea. To name 3
  16. Spot on really. It's funny we have all these midfielders, but are so badly lacking upfront. It's inexcusable really. True about the loan window, but today was two points dropped. What if we need those two points come the end of the season. Get a striker in Tony. Ya, Travis makes me feel a bit on edge. He definetly has naivity in him.
  17. We were good from around the 35th minute on. Completely dominated the game, albeit with no cutting edge. Poor finishing, poor final pass selection, poor pass choice.
  18. Not so much, don't believe what you read. We started badly, but they didn't look great. Solid definsivley and reliant on set pieces. When we played a bit, we were well on top. Just no cutting edge. 2 poor misses by Graham and an absolutely atrocious cross/pass by Armstrong after he got in a great position.
  19. I would be happy enough with a loanee. Samuel and Nuttall hardly motivate Graham to be at his best At least Wigan are losing.
  20. Palmer and Rothwell look OK. The lack of compettion brings out the worst in Graham
  21. Graham had a couple of great chances. He needs some serious competition to kick him up the arse.
  22. Well we ain't playing with pace anyway, that's for sure
  23. The one positive is that Millwall came 9th last season and we have out played them, albeit with absolutely no cutting edge
