  1. So, who are we signing this week? A-Chapman B-Maddison C-Gallagher D- Brereton E-Someone who hasn't been mentioned F-No one Cast your votes Gents. I am going with B, Maddison
  2. No, i'd say Richards will have to go on trial somewhere now and earn a deal. There is been out of the team and then there is not playing for 2 years
  3. Definitely. One of the wingers and one of the strikers would really help the team
  4. We went to Bradford around this time last season and pulled off the win that kick started our season. No reason why we can't do the same at Hull
  5. Richards hasn't kicked a ball in 3 years, I would get him on trial and in with the under 23s before offering any deal. Adam would be a great option to have, an upgrade on we have with regards to deep lying play makers. Well out of our price range though
  6. I think its very, very.....very wishful thinking!
  7. So here we go again, its the hope that kills ya Maddison, Chapman, Gallagher and Bauer all in on loan to buy deals in the next fortnight. Ye heard it here 1st. #ITK #Aye
  8. Harris mentioned nothing about signings though, he was going off the team we had out. So not sure what you're disagreeing about? All I meant was that's its positive that the manager of the team who came 8th last season was praising our work rate player quality etc. Generic enough comments, but I would say he is a straight talker
  9. Are you sure that Derby one is a 3rd kit, looks like a training t-shirt They recycled the yellow left over from our away kit on the sleeves of the Hull one
  10. I never said must win, I said the sooner we get our first win the better. What if we get to 6 without a win, would you say its urgent we get a win then? Ultimately good performances are irrelevant without wins , good performances will turn to bad performances too if we go on a run without a win, as pressure starts creeping in. The first win will really kick our season off
  11. The Milwall manager spoke well about us. Said we out "Millwalled" them in the 2nd half. Said we will pick up plenty of points at home and should do well. Maybe we are a bit overly critical
  12. Sharpe reckons there is nothing in anything until the club confirms it! I found the link strange, but I still think we need a target man for our 3 off the striker to play off
  13. Ya, exactly like last season. If we started better, we would have won the title.
  14. I think he could be a useful addition in the Championship. His injury record is a risk, but if he wasn't injured, we wouldn't be signing him. As for the fact he would definitely going back to Palace, well if we go up we may keep him and whilst loaning with a view to buy is the ideal scenario, if he improved our team this season, that would be enough for me. We missed out on signing someone permanently.
  15. Palmer isn't even a striker though, how do you work out he is a target man? I would prefer Nutall or Samuel givent he opportunity, they aren't much smaller than DG, if they even are smaller. They should watch DG and learn how to play the role. Correct that Armstrong isn't or never will be a target man. I would like Wickham as he is 6 foot 3 , well built. It would be great to have a big lad up there With ;Dack, Armstrong, Palmer, Samuel, Bennett and whoever playing off them
  16. Lets not try and shoehorn anyone else in a position that isn't their natural one. We have Armstrong and Nuttall who can play upfront against Carlisle
  17. Maddison or Chapman, has to be.. Mowbray must be pretty sure this is happening like when he said Armstrong was close
  18. TNA/Impact AJ Styles was as good as anyone. Like with a lot of talent, he is kind of boring in the WWE machine. The one downside to Styles is that the styles clash is a ridiculous finisher. I am going to slam your feet into the ground!!!
  19. Well I think Armstrong, Rothwell and Palmer can all offer something there albeit playing out of position. Although Armstrongs crosses yesterday were unacceptably poor. We seem at risk of going down this tippy tappy craic around the goals with no end product route. If the guys playing inside forward/wingers aren't going to be direct and run at goals, we'll it's a bit of a waste of time having them there. At least with Chapman and Maddison on the wings, we know what we could get. Direct running and balls into Graham. Hopefully Armstrong grows in confidence, but I would really like to see him being more direct with the ball at his feet. When we do this thing where we pass it around in front of a deep defence, like yesterday and many games last season, it means we ultimately will rely on Dack to do something special to unlock the defence. The two guys either side of him need to start contributing more at this level.
