  1. OMG! You brought up the fact I was pandering to a 'section of this thread'. I just replied in kind. You are soooooooo Donald. Sigh. The debate is about ticket prices. There are no deals on offer. You said there were plenty. You lied. Who's divisive again? ? Go and have a lie down. #FakeTicketNews #RipOffRovers
  2. We have Travis as well. I don't think the squad needs a back up right back as a priority. We only had Williams on the left so Bell was very much needed.
  3. I agree with most of that. We are not very good at creating chances from open play at home. In fact very are very poor. We didn't even create many against Rotherham, instead we wasted countless good opportunities and good positions. We rarely get more than 1 or 2 people in the box so the crosses that go in invariably go to waste. That's why Bennett is not the problem. The system is the problem. However, that system stops us getting hit on the counter at home more often than not. Mowbray has mentioned a few times that not conceding on the break at home is always a consideration. Remember the goal against Forest when they went from one end of the ground to the other in about 8 seconds? He sets up to stop that when he can. We are better at home when we can stop quality opposition playing (Leeds, Brentford). We struggle when we have to force the play (Rotherham, Millwall, Reading etc) Our league position suggests Mowbray is winning the argument though at the moment. If we went for it more we might get undone more.
  4. You move the argument all over the place just to try and weasel out of the fact you told a porkie It's fairly desperate. The debate is about selling match tickets to more people, as was Gumboots point. You don't have to go to Ewood to get 'Trump' on your Rovers shirt. Chaddy agrees with you. He's even popped up a few minutes ago in support. The problem with Chaddy is he has a dig at a lot of people and then plays the victim when he gets a bit back. It says a lot about him that he has 25+ people on ignore, as he so often proudly announces. Don't be so sensitive on his behalf
  5. It's preferable to pandering to Chaddy.
  6. There are currently none. You're getting desperate if you're quoting a £1 off a pint. We are talking about ticket deals that increase attendances as you well know. For the fourth time THERE ARE NO ticket deals on offer at present. You lied. I've taken it off better men than you?
  7. Down the side that Bennett was marking two men. The 2nd goal was hilarious. Mogga shouted at Dack to move away from the right wing where he was marking their left back. Ball goes out to unmarked full back who crosses for their 2nd.
  8. It's difficult to read much into what Mogga says sometimes. He said Nuttall wasn't ready last season then played him a couple of weeks later when he was desperate. Judging by what he has said of BB so far it doesn't seem like he see's him as a viable alternative to DG just yet. If DG gets injured though he won't really have a choice unless he goes with Dack or AA. I agree we need another striker.
  9. You could say that for everyone on the pitch against Sheff Utd in fairness.
  10. Bennett is top of our assists table with 2 this season, alongside Dack and Graham.
  11. https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/2018/november/swansea-city-season-ticket-offer-still-available/ Notlob - Last week they had 'take a friend for £10' deal if you are a ST holder. I think these are the deals @gumboots was on about. #RipOffRovers
  12. PNE sell a match ticket in the equivalent of the BBE for £15 if you are a Full Time Student or Apprentice between the ages of 22-24. Good, imaginative policy. #RipOffRovers
  13. It's a shame you always have to resort to this when you can't back up your lies. So, just to clarify, there are currently no promotions at Rovers to attract fans into the ground like you lied and said were available to Gumboots. Good night.
  14. We are playing away to a form team. We have got good results away using that 'negative' formation and players. He can play there and has acquitted himself well for the most part. Your obsession with Bennett is affecting your judgement. He's been a lot better than the full back on the other side of our team and Bennett isn't even a full-back. He will now hopefully resume his position further up the field. Reed was quite poor in the last home game against Rotherham in CM. They controlled the midfield when he was on the pitch. We missed Evans even though Smallwood had a very good game. There's nothing negative about playing the players who are getting the team results. Armstrong has played well but what has he actually delivered as an end product besides the cross that went in a few weeks ago?
  15. Was it the Fans Forum who said the club had said there would be a ticket offer early this season? Tick Tock...
  16. I suppose there are 'plenty'?
  17. So you don't have any examples of ticket deals for this season even though you said there ARE (present tense) plenty in response to Gumboots. What you meant to say is there are NONE. That's why I called you Trump. Like him, you just make things up.
  18. £20 is plenty. At least they are trying. Forest are very pro-active when it comes to ticket deals, even though they get much bigger crowds than us as it is (Average this season 27k). It just shows how poor Waggott is at getting people in the ground and 'building a club'. Rovers don't even try. It's shameful. City were also one of the clubs who came up with the new price bracket for 18-23 years olds. ST's cost £120 for those people. It's no wonder their crowds have gone up by over 3 thousand so far this season.
  19. They do that every year. That isn't new, every club in the League does it and it isn't what Gumboots meant. You've gone all Donald Trump again. Have another go. If there are 'plenty' so you'll be able to come up with other examples.
  20. Putting up prices and expecting more fans is counter-intuitive. Putting up prices, expecting more fans and then moaning when it doesn't happen is plain stupid. Which brings us back to Waggott...
  21. We could have done with Harry Houdini when Coyle was here.
  22. @JacknOry MM is definitely coming. He will join AA and BB. Carlton Cole will also join. We may draw the line at Derek Dougan. Eberechi Eze is another possibility from QPR. We've already been linked with Frank Fielding. Gavin Gunning can expect a call at some point.... Football Scrabble. Mogga will resign when he has finished the job. Genius.
  23. Dack will go if someone meets our asking price. He may say the right things about loving the club (has he said that?) but if Leeds are still looking like going up in January and they bid and we accept it he'd be gone like a Peter Lorimer shot. If we're right up there he may think we are his quickest route to the Prem. He's never been out of the press for the last two months. His agent must be working 7 days a week. He's casting Dack's net as wide as possible. Dack even let it slip his dad was a Spurs fan when Spurs were supposedly interested. Now Dack lets it slip he supports Manure. His mum will be a Leeds fan by next week. His grandad will be a fan of whoever he is linked with in January. Fair play to him. He's been brilliant for us. But then we've been brilliant for him. He was relatively unheard of outside League 1 12 months ago. Now he's on Sky and getting linked with a different club every week. Mowbray also looks after him. He might not get that at a club where every player has Dack's profile. It could all go very wrong for Bradley if he makes the wrong move.
  24. Agreed. He is missing too many chances this season. He put nearly every one away last year at Ewood. The problem is DG is a very important cog in the way we play. A lot of long balls go to him and he brings others into the game. We would need to find someone who could do that PLUS score goals. We spent £7m on BB and he can't do either yet. It's not going to be easy. Possibly, but if Bauer is any good and Mogga sees him as challenging for a first team spot he will bid for him in January. He'll be a few hundred grand like Bell i'd imagine. Bauer has already said he won't sign a new contract at Charlton so Mogga will have to move quick as there will be more clubs after him when he's free next summer you'd imagine. Probably depends also on whether he's recovered form the injury he got a month or so back. Downing is completely out of his depth at Championship level. He was even starting to look poor at League 1 level when Lenihan thankfully returned last season. He did a good job for us but I'd be surprised if he ever played for our first team again barring an injury crisis, which is another reason I think we'll sign Bauer or someone like him. All the above is possibly bollocks.
