  1. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17556252.blackburn-rovers-0-stoke-city-1-match-verdict/ Even Sharpes had enough.
  2. I think most people would agree with nearly all of that. The sticking point is whether he 'deserves' the summer. The rate of decline has been alarming since November (there was a brief resurgence in Jan) and 9 defeats out the last 11 is sacking territory at a normal club. The coaching at the club is very poor IMO - the lack of movement and ideas as an attacking unit and the appalling defending aren't all down to individuals. And if they are does anyone really have any faith in Mowbray's recruitment to put it right? Nah, me neither. Mowbray is lucky. His narrative has been swallowed whole - 'I've been loyal because I've got values but I'll make big changes in the summer cos I know what I'm doing and hey presto we'll be challenging for the play-offs next season'. I don't believe a word of it but it buys him time, which is exactly his aim. In the meantime he'll blame everyone but himself as we lose every week. It's amazing people fall for it. You've got to hand it to him really.
  3. We've been loose for far too long.
  4. Not sure that accurate. They were unbeaten in 11 games from New year until the last two games which they've lost.
  5. That's got a lot to do with where he plays. I've not seen his chance today but he's rarely played in on goal. When he has been played in, like his goal against Wigan last season at home and the goal this season when he cut inside at the DE and rolled it in the corner, he finishes brilliantly. Unfortunately Mowbray has built a team that does nothing but hoof it up front. AA needs to play on the shoulder of the last man with some players behind him who can pass the ball. When he does he'll hopefully look a different player. Agree about the joke that is the BB deal.
  6. That's a major problem with our team and why we score so few at home from open play. Beyond the hoof to Graham/Dack/Mulgrew set-pieces there's nothing in the way of creativity. The coaching at Ewood is frankly appalling. Rothwell needs a good coach to work with him.
  7. A bit harsh. He's not the best footballer but I think he's quality in front of goal and should be playing up front with a partner. He's a lazy shite at times but he's not a winger so it must be soul destroying playing out wide all the time. Whether he's a good or average Championship striker remains to be seen.
  8. Did Rothwell actually do anything of note today or was he running around a lot without much effect?
  9. The fans will vote with their wallets if Mowbray continues in a job. I bet a few are not going to bother next season with an ST if he's still there. The football is dull and wins are as rare as an Evans goal.
  10. 6 in total. 4 from set pieces. I'm enjoying not having to witness that shite today. Saves on the train money.
  11. We've only scored 2 goals from open play in the 1st half at home this season. #frontfoot
  12. The picture Brad was sent just before he feigned an injury and left Ewood.
  13. Dack's been sulking for a while, unsurprising given the results. I'm guessing his heads gone a bit more after his latest dumping and Moggadon has decided to drop him all together. Add the comments he made about selling Dack and rebuilding and a picture starts to emerge that possibly all is not rosy between Dack and the manager. This is only a guess obviously.
  14. £100 season tickets for U25's and give them a singing section = an instantly better atmosphere from the first home game of next season, and bigger crowds. Unfortunately the people at the club are too stupid/complacent to work it out.
  15. 60 points is the season target set by Moggadon. Tony had a dream... https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2019/april/tonys-60-point-target/
