  1. That doesn't buy you much from Forest these days.
  2. Can you change the end of the title to 2018-2019. March is a bit early for player of 2019. It's just really bugging me. Standards etc
  3. I'd have Bowyer back in a New York Stadium minute. I'm even beginning to think Keith Hill might be better than what we've got. #oneofourown
  4. I think Conway's been struggling for fitness to be fair.
  5. 1) Graham - He's consistently led the line well and is on his way to 15 goals for the season. Good return for a striker who is used primarily as a target man and who rarely gets a decent cross to get on the end of. 2) Dack - for his goals and his performances up to Christmas. He won us games on his own and was bound to be marked out of games eventually when he is virtually our only creative spark. 3) Our only central defender capable of running, marking and winning headers. Armstrongs had about 4 good games so I've no idea why he gets a mention.
  6. Spot on. Cheap tickets - and open up the top tier of the BBE. Advertise it as a singing section.
  7. Totally agree on Mogga's pedigree. He did well last season but only with the best players in the league and a budget that dwarfed everyone else's. This season, after the promotion momentum had dissipated, it was always going to be a test of his managerial prowess. The stats unfortunately speak for themselves. The joint worst away defence out of 92 clubs. The least amount of crosses into the box in the division The most long balls in the division One of the teams with the least amount of goals from open play. These aren't the stats of a well-coached team.
  8. Good to see Tony 'being a man' and taking responsibility for our pathetic defensive displays https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2019/march/tony-sick-of-defensive-incapabilities/ Its not tactical. Nowt to do with Tony.
  9. ROVERS TEAM STATS: Attacking - 11.1 shots per game (21st best in Championship) Defending - 13.8 shots against per game (19th worst in Championship) Goals scored from open play - 24 from 35 games (19th most in Championship) Goals conceded from open play - 39 from 35 games (3rd most in Championship) Penalties scored - 7 (1st most in Championship) Penalties conceded - 4 (5th most in Championship) Goals from set-pieces - 13 (6th most in Championship) Goals against from set pieces - 9 (18th most in Championship) Crosses per game - 15 (joint least in Championship) Long balls per game - 87 (joint most in the Championship) GK saves per game - 3.1 (joint 2nd most in Championship) https://www.whoscored.com/Regions/252/Tournaments/7/Seasons/7379/Stages/16389/TeamStatistics/England-Championship-2018-2019
  10. https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/teams/blackburn-rovers/11653121/rotherham-3-2-blackburn The third goal we conceded is my 'favourite'. Mulgrew leads the charge out then runs back in when he realises the ball is coming back. In the end it's 3 against 4 in the box. Schoolboy defending.
  11. I added the match experience option for that reason. I know a few who find going to Ewood deathly dull due to how empty the ground is and the dire football on show most weeks.
  12. It's as much value as cost. if you know you're going to miss enough games due to work commitments or the club/Sky moving games to make a ST more expensive than a season's worth of walk-on prices then it would be stupid to buy an ST. At that point only a reduction in ST prices or an increase in walk-on prices (as Stuart mentioned) would change the equation.
  13. Spunking £7m on Brereton and not signing a CB or two instead for a lot less money.
  14. You don't agree with what? That he signed, coaches or gave extensions to practically everyone of those gutless players you're describing?
  15. I pay £400 for my ST. Assuming it doesn't go up next season that's about 16 games at the walk-on price of £25. I've already missed a few this season due to work and will be missing the next 2 for the same reason. Next season I may miss more depending on match scheduling/work. Essentially it's no longer cost effective or me to get an ST. It will be walk-ons for me unless there is a reduction in ST prices.
  16. As other clubs have started making their ST's for next season available I thought we should do our Annual Poll/Thread. I'm assuming we'll still be in The Championship with Mowbray in charge and the owners still here. I'm not sure what kind of offers other clubs are doing this year but I know a few last year extended the cheap young person deals to include the under 23's and in some cases under 25's. This is definitely something Rovers should be doing and I'd be amazed if they don't implement it this year. I think Notts Forest had an under 23 ST for £100 last season. What kind of realistic deals would you like to see implemented to attract more fans back to Ewood?
  17. He's got a free pass this season. It will be early next season when any potential groundswell starts....
  18. I keep hearing about steady progress under Mowbray when in fact we are steadily getting worse.
  19. Fancy building a squad with only 1 good CB. Poor management when you've had the luxury of spending £7m on a reserve striker.
  20. They've been defending like that all season. Mowbray has done nothing about it. Let's not re-write history.
  21. How many times did you vote Chaddy?
  22. Aye, we're going to miss Reeds 1 goal when he goes.
