  1. The camera work on this ifollow stream has been shocking today.
  2. More interesting than this game I guess.
  3. I've been quite impressed by Trybull before today. I think a lot of the players look off the pace in this game, including him.
  4. It looks like number 6 is Niklas Gudmundsson from the 96/97 season. Had to do some digging for it. Never heard of him in my life.
  5. If he's kept his fitness up, I'm all for this. Injuries/illness seems to be hitting us hard at the moment. He's an asset in the squad providing we don't shoe horn him in centre midfield again (the experiment didn't work). He was arguably our best player before Christmas and he actually keeps hold of the ball, which plenty of our players don't seem to be able to do at the moment.
  6. The comments at the time of his signing suggested that Douglas lacked pace.
  7. Rudy's last gasp headed equaliser felt like a win!
  8. Thanks for the prompt! Bought an ifollow pass earlier today so I've requested a refund.
  9. It's really annoying that he's gone for that cheap, considering we appear to have been put off by a potentially higher asking price. Pleased with the Douglas signing but this would've been a good longer term option.
  10. Yeah, fair play. That's a good amount of depth though. Considering Dolan & Chapman are the only natural wingers, it's good that we've brought in a 3rd option that's arguably better than both.
  11. Intrigued to know who our existing 6 options for the wing are.
  12. I've just lumped on us to finish top 6 at 9/4. It's been a brilliant window but I'm not sure I trust us to get promoted ?
  13. The Elliott loan has just been announced on the Liverpool FC website. https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/412295-harvey-elliott-joins-blackburn-rovers-on-loan?
  14. You've just named a series of players that don't play in the same position as him. He's an attacking midfielder and primarily plays on the wing. So he's going to be challenging Brereton, Dolan, Chapman & Gallagher (if we persist in playing him out wide) for a starting spot.
  15. I don't think anyone was expecting him to be available. Shaqiri by all accounts was expected to leave, which would've meant Elliott staying within the first team squad at Liverpool.
  16. I've not seen a lot of him myself but I live in Liverpool and he's really well thought of with their fans. Trains with the first team and was expected to be challenging for minutes this season, albeit most likely in cup games. It's a great move for him to get more game time (assuming he's good enough to oust our current options).
  17. Why mention Dolan if you weren't insinuating you wouldn't want to sign someone for the position he plays in?
  18. Haha alright lads. Merely commenting back to a post suggesting we don't need him as we have Dolan. A lot more relevant than the drivel that's been on here recently. At least it was based on an actual rumour.
  19. If Wilson signs, he starts ahead of Dolan for me. Dolan has been impressive but Wilson's quality is plain to see. Dolan would still get plenty of time off the bench as an impact sub & starts with rotation. Unquestionably more time on the pitch for the first team than he would've expected at the start of the season.
  20. I sign him on all my saves & you get two good seasons out of him before his stats & form drop off a cliff. Well worth picking up especially for a promotion push.
  21. I don't have the stats behind the season as I'm 4 or 5 seasons deep now but it was a great promotion season.
  22. Lucas Pratto is gold
  23. I've just had a look and not seen a single tweet linking him to us.
  24. Couldn't agree more. We're pressing the opposition more, yes. But the big difference from last season is that we're doing more with the ball in the midfield. Holtby has been instrumental in this.
  25. Let's not rewrite history on Rhodes. If we played our current formation & style of play with him up top, he'd thrive. We're creating chances and he's the sort of player that would finish them off. For the most part while he was here he was leading the line and making the most of scraps. If anything, we didn't play to his strengths enough.
