You say that but the more seasons we blow good runs at the play-offs the more likely it will never happen. The money gap between the PL and Championship is far too large now and I'd say we were much more likely to drop to League 1 and stay there then they are to drop to the Championship and stay there for any prolonged period of time. I can't see anything other than a 4 or 5 goal defeat at Ewood, our lot have proven they have no bottle in big games and with the psychological blow of (by then) blowing another play-off run they won't be up for it.

I love how we have this cycle where the club complain no one turns up, and then the second anyone does turn up we don't even try. Literally every time. On another note, hadn't realised we were on a negative goal difference either. We shouldn't be anywhere near 6th in all honesty. -

And there it is. Not a chance we're staying in the play-offs. We've been gash since Morton came back in for Buckley. -

Other results may do but letting Norwich close this gap will probably be enough for us to drop out by the end of the season. A draw is the absolute minimum we need from this game. -

Waiting for the tram back to my car. What a sickener. We were all over them and creating chance after chance, and the second I saw those subs I knew what was coming. Adam Wharton and Dolan should have come on to keep the press going, and instead we sit back and throw the game. It's this kind of decision making that leaves tactical questions at JDT's door. Also send Morton back to Liverpool. I don't want to see him in blue and white again. -

Massive! 3 points is all that matters at this point in the season no matter how we grind them out. Onto Sunday and hopefully a memorable day out! -

If we don't win today we won't finish in the top 6. Fans need to get behind them and push for the win. -

Ah, so it is! Thank you! First game since Luton away, let's hope it's not as tragic as that one was. -

Well the money has gone out of my account but no confirmation email yet, nor can I confirm it in the tabs on the website. What a mess! -

Whilst we were unbeaten for a while let's not pretend that doesn't include some shocking performances against some dross sides. Our run-in is almost entirely against teams in and around us and this is not the kind of statement result we needed. -

How many performances like this away from home is this now? Yes, the players aren't great bit major question marks that JDT still can't find another solution. I was no fan of TM bit we rarely got pasted this badly (bar the odd one). This has been what... the 5th or 6th time this season? -

No point having a quality striker when we create absolutely nothing. -

Well, I actually thought we had learned our lessons and turned a corner, how wrong I was. Another unforgivably bad performance away from home, If we're going to be going back to this guff, with our run-in you can forget the play-offs. -

Boy, have things flipped! At the end of January we were looking rudderless, devoid of ideas and as I made vocal on here I was all for punting JDT, but the last month has been a breath of fresh air! Somehow, despite no real investment he has turned it around and made us somewhat attractive. The cup run as well has only boosted everyone involved with the club. That said, I won't be getting carried away, it's a close race and we have one of the hardest run-ins in the league (at least as far as league places go). If we take it a game at a time there's no reason we can't secure a play-off place, and if we can beat Sheff Utd again in the cup that could be a huge psychological bonus if they end up getting caught by Boro who are a different beast at the moment. Each game is going to be tough and I'm glad that someone on the commercial side has clearly used their brain cells to pull people in to Ewood with incentives. I only wish I lived closer to take advantage of it! -

Every single time they come forwards it's Morton dallying about. How on earth has he come from Liverpool of all teams? -

Another game where we offer literally nothing going forwards. It amazes me I'm seeing people calling fans "fickle" for not wanting to watch us make no effort to win the game again and again and again. Surely JDT's football wasn't this bad in Sweden? -
At least Big Sam would throw the kitchen sink in the last 10 mins ic possible - I can't imagine this team pushing to chase a goal at any scoreline.
-
We haven't all season. Aren't we the worst in the league for chance creation? It's probably why we're so eye-numbingly boring to watch.
-
Or we decided it wasn't worth adding extra expense on a player that likely was only going in the U21's anyway, especially as they've said he will join in the summer regardless. O'Brien is the one that affects the here and now, and therefore much more important.
-
Doesn't really matter. As much as I wanted him out, his Sunderland have created more chances in this one game than we have in months. We've gone backwards considerably.
