  1. As much as missing Dack is bad and I hope it isn't serious... Holtby has done more in 2 mins than Dack did all game.
  2. Am I the only one who thinks Williams isn't to blame? Our entire midfield is anonymous.
  3. 6 players around the ball for the second bounce... zero attempt to even chase. This is auch a lazy performance.
  4. Jesus... quarter of the way through the game and 0 shots vs 6 at home to the worst team in the league. This is exactly why promotion is very unlikely to happen under Mowbray
  5. Almost all of them have been shocking so far. No movement in attack or defence.
  6. That was absolutely horrendous defending. NINE Rovers players in our half and they do two passes and get a open shot at goal. Mowbray has to go. Now.
  7. I keep saying this but I will reiterate, for Walton (and even Raya) it's so hard to judge them at Rovers as "good" or "bad" keepers because neither have ever had anything other than a dreadful makeshift defence in front of them. For years we've spent our time either being pinned back or scoring and then sitting back and letting opposition take their time getting as many shots at our goal as possible. Not only does that make the keepers job harder in general but it also can't help their nerves either. At the end of the day, until we stop splurging our money on league one standard forwards and instead focus some money on making us concede less then we'll only be going one way in the long term, and that isn't upwards.
  8. Hahahaha wouldn't you know it Mowbray yet again pulls off his one in ten game miracle!
  9. Not quite the last five minutes but it's so depressing how inevitable this is.
  10. Well, there we have TM's excuse for when we inevitable concede in the last 5 mins
  11. Pretty much every game under this "exciting new style of football" we've gone for this season.
  12. For all Williams' faults at LB he's still better than Bennett there.
  13. Does anyone remember the last time (if ever) we actually played a full starting 11 in positions they are actually familiar in under TM?
  14. Game over now. England have been dreadful and barely deserve the points they have on the board. Well played SA, came in with a gameplan (however dire it is to watch) and England have nothing to offer in return.
  15. But how much of that is down to what's in front of him? Goalkeeping can come down to confidence, if you have 4 people in front of you that you trust the nerves aren't there and you can make less mistakes. Seem to be doing fine at Brentford from what I've seen. That and with the amount of free chances we give teams they've bound to force an error eventually. We need to start defending from the front as a unit but that won't happen until we a) get a new manager and b)get some in game leaders with the balls to pull people up when they're out of position.
  16. For all Bowyer's faults at least he made sure we actually had centre backs at the club!
  17. In all honesty were any of us expecting more than midtable with our defence? The only reason anyone got their hopes up is because TM opened his big mouth. He keeps doing it more and more with talk of "easier fixtures" and points targets that clearly this squad just aren't capable of hitting. He needs to either walk or shut up and do his job properly.
  18. Thing is, the see us go out and play as badly as we are doing and then seem confused why no one wants to spend what little hard earned cash and time they have to watch that rubbish. No one wants to watch a team put in minimum effort and collapse the moment the tiniest bit of pressure comes their way. Even in the position we are in, if our team was fighting tooth and nail to protect leads like we used to under Hughes, Allardyce etc I think a few more might turn up. Not stadium filling of course, but at least there would be a team to be proud of.
  19. As I said before, the system invites the mistakes and has done for a long time. We take the lead and instead of going for the jugular we always sit back and let the pressure build. This will always lead to mistakes when we have such a shockingly poor defensive unit, which again is set up by the manager. The players can take responsibility for the errors they committed sure, but the reasons they happen 2 or 3 times a game is down to the manager and he can't keep using it is an excuse.
  20. The question has to be asked though - with these "individual errors" coming at scores every game, how much of that is down to a dreadful training regime and poor shape? Different sport admittedly but England made a bunch of individual errors during the NZ game - the difference is that every single one of their team mates were there and ready to cover tracks and back each other up. How often under Mowbray have we worked as a cohesive team unit with a gameplan? If you have no plan, when pressure comes the team doesn't have the tools to deal with it, and for me that comes down to management/coaching fundamentally.
  21. Watched the rugby then went out this afternoon to avoid the football, expecting a powder puff performance and it sounds like the boys delivered again. Glanced at my phone 15 minutes in but still had no faith in us even getting a point out of the game because our manager doesn't have an ounce of tactical nous left (if he ever had any) in his noggin. Time's up Tony, for the love of god please step aside and let someone else have a go, they can hardly be any worse at this point.
  22. No attempt at winning yet another turgid away game, no style of play evident regardless of what he says. I'd rather Damien Johnson was in charge at the weekend than Mowbray at this point, at least he might have some new ideas.
