  1. We need to get rid of the clown ASAP. After all the whining the other week about people pushing him to play players who weren't fit he throws Gallagher and JRC straight in for Millwall away? Out of interest have we won a single game with the "winger as a false 9" formation he keeps trying? Even Barcelona don't play that formation anymore and they're the only team on the planet who has a player good enough to be pulled into that role. Completely bonkers, I'm incredibly tempted to throw a fiver on us going down just to soften the blow when the inevitable happens.
  2. I imagine the majority of them were here the first time under Coyle but I could be wrong.
  3. He's right about wanting a team that fights for every ball etc... but does he think that's what we are? Because I can count on one hand the number of times I think this team has been up for it.
  4. I was on the fence about this game but I'm done. You know full well they'll complain about people not paying for ifollow and buying season tickets but who in their right mind is going to pay to watch that? Send Tony home separate from the rest of the team, send the message that there is something to play for under a decent new manager and push on with an identity.
  5. Whilst Elliot is class on his day it has infuriated me that Dolan was really doing well and we just brought a loan in to push him out of the team. Same every time, player breaks through from the academy, gets a young player from another team and they get pushed back.
  6. If TM is still here if/when we get caught by the bottom 3 it's all over. He doesn't have the cajones for the gritty stuff.
  7. "They've responded well to going behind.... dangerous in attack.... so attacking" WTF are you watching man? We've done absolutely nothing of note all game long. Every time we're on sky it's like they have Tony in their ear feeding them soundbites.
  8. Giving Dack a new contract before knowing if he was ever going to be able to play at a decent level again could be one of the worst decisions this lot have made, however popular that decision was.
  9. Because we're midway through the second half... Tony has to swap the entire midfield and hope something happens because he's incapable of setting them up in an actual system.
  10. How can Tony watch this guff week in and week out and then have the cheek to say we're playing well? It boggles the mind.
  11. I don't know if he's frustrated by how useless these tactics are, but Elliot is being really erratic in our own half. Wouldn't be against bringing him off.
  12. Who could have possibly envisaged a midfield with Trybull and Evans in could only ever move sideways?
  13. Yep, the difference between an old school manager who knows what he's doing and yesterday's man who is trying to make the most of the last decent job he's ever going to get.
  14. It's like the exact opposite of when Big Sam was here. Maximising possession and doing nothing with it - give me Sam's no possession, solid defence, make the most of your few chances brand of football any day of the week over this drivel.
  15. TM's knack of losing by the odd goal so he can pretend we did well is really starting to grate.
  16. I don't see the point in getting these god awful kids in from clubs whose academies are no better than ours, whilst ours go out for "experience" at a lower level. Magloire looked class against Leicester in preseason - only one game admittedly but can't be any worse than these two clowns.
  17. Out of interest, I wonder what TM's record is from January to March in this league because it feels like we capitulate at this point literally every year.
  18. Tbh at this point I feel really harsh giving any particular players too much criticism because I don't thing any of them would be as bad if we had someone in charge who could actually play with a coherent plan. The constant changing of personnel (which is done regardless of injuries before that's used as an excuse) means no partnerships can be built and no real momentum can either. Time for a new man. Cheerio Tony, and take Venus and Waggott with you.
  19. Yeah but as we know the only reason we get these loan players is that Tony agrees they always play ahead of our own.
  20. I really don't recall Gallagher being this bad when Coyle played him as a striker, I mean as far as that team was doing anyway. The fact that TM was allowed to throw £12m at two players who never play in their actual positions is mind-boggling - especially when we already have Elliot, Dolan, Rothwell, previously Chapman etc who he refuses/refused to utilise in those positions in favour of them.
  21. Why the hell do we always launch the ball into the box the second Gallagher goes off the pitch? I know he isn't great in the air but at least he's the right size for it.
  22. Tbh we can blame the players for being bad but it's clear that Tony is messing around to the point that I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't a clue what's expected of them. The clown has to go and be replaced by someone who can actually forge a way of playing that creates stability and consistency.
