I'll let you tell him that! ? -
True, but none with the energy & bite that Trav gives us. Article from last night: https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2020/september/travis-injury-concern/

Picked up a knee injury last night. Apparently might need surgery. He'll be a big miss. I'm just hoping it's not a cruciate injury.

Essentially we're being asked to pay up to £230 to reserve our seats for next season. People are attached to their seats (not literally!) & quite understandably don't want to risk losing it. IMO, this is what Waggot is playing on. Do I want to risk losing my seat where I know who I'm sat with every other week, or do I want to risk ending up sat next to some right bellend next year? This obviously assumes that everyone thinks the same & renews. I'm not so sure they will, but I will more than likely risk the money based on this. Do I particularly like it? No. -
My daughter said exactly the same. Think she might go for this one, but it'll be a bit odd when she inevitably wants 'Armstrong' on the back.

I'll more than likely renew, although that wasn't the case up until a week ago. I, like many others, was put at risk of redundancy, so there was no way I was committing to something which I ultimately might not get. Fortunately I've since been told that my job is safe & so the risk/reward factor is not so heavily weighted towards reward. I do though, totally understand that people in the situation I was, & those who unfortunately have lost their jobs, won't be quite as willing to part with their cash. -
That's correct. The Duke used to be my regular haunt when it was open. Now a Co-Op with flats above. Drink in the Nellie now.

Have a wander down to the Lord Nelson at Whittle next time you're up there. Be good to have a catch up again mate! ?
-
Or another very possible reason would be Mrs Ayala says: "If you think I'm upping sticks & moving the kids out here to live like this, you can f*** off!" "Take that offer off Blackburn & we can carry on as we were. We're not exactly skint"
-
That's really really bad. Where's this so called team spirit we keep hearing about!? To be fair though, they've probably forgotten what to do in that situation, it's 18 mths since we last had a goalkeeper pull off a decent save!
-
We'll end up in the conference with that lad in goal
-
didn't know that - I'm all over it now. Gotta have the 80s one. Cheers for the info! ?
-
& Mighty Mouse of course! ?
-
Agreed, I think a season of regular football in a man's league would do him the world of good. Reckon it would turn him into this real player we keep hearing about. The lad certainly has talent.

Always used to get Roy of The Rovers. Loved Safest Hands in Soccer (later Goalkeeper). Me & one of my mates also had an agreement, I used to get Paul Ince's favourite (Shoot!) ?, & he used to get Match, we'd then swap.

Looks a definite improvement! Is that Tony wearing the Nyambe shirt? 1:15 ?
-
Sorry if this is a daft question, but do players generally have a medical if it's a loan deal? Can't say I ever remember hearing of it.
