  1. I honestly don’t think Guye belongs on a football pitch.
  2. He made up for the miss with that to be fair.
  3. I think you have to give Pears credit there. He stood up well and timed the challenge to perfection
  4. Water the beer down.
  5. He only agreed to a meeting with WATR as they were about to go public with a vote of no confidence in the ownership. It seems to have calmed things down for now.
  6. It could have been a good time to get out of his temporary post though. MU 0 the mighty Bournemouth 3
  7. All the best SC. Always nice to think of the nice Christmases spent with family, when thinking of the loved ones we have lost. I had to say goodbye to my Dad on Christmas Eve, as that was the day of his funeral 16 years ago on Tuesday. Never an easy time, but thinking of the good memories helps.
  8. A game lacking in quality and just a shame we conceded so late. When I saw 8 added, I did wonder if we could hold on with 10. Disappointing as that is, I would have taken anyone to task, has they said we would win 6 out of the last 7. We are in the top 6 at Christmas, which is a real achievement, but the big question now is, can we kick on?
  9. Surely that's got to be a fix, as he is shit isn't he?
  10. It simply has to be a wind up. Tronstad oozes class and his first half performance was as perfect for that role, as anything anyone will see this weekend.
  11. Another performance where he broke lots up and he was in the right place at the right time again. Two excellent balls to the right channel in the first half too
  12. I see that Tronstad fella was shit again today. 🤣
  13. It would be much easier no if he just came out and admitted he was wrong. I did not fancy this manager one bit, but I can now happily admit, I was wrong. It isn’t difficult, especially when it’s nice to be proven wrong.
  14. It’s a great feeling waking up this morning, thinking of Rovers and yet another narrow victory. It was a poor game, but I thought we were better in the second half and deserved the win. The ball was literally given away by both teams, almost every other touch and was certainly not a game for the purist. For anyone thinking Tronstad is poor, take him out of that team and no way do we keep as many clean sheets. He reads the game better than anyone in the side and although his performance last night, was perhaps not quite as good as some, his 8 in the LT is about right and he is certainly Mr reliable. I personally don’t care, who signed him, as we have a gem.
  15. There have been many final straws. It will be a shrug of the shoulders and a statement to say, we can’t change the past, but the owners are great people and fully committed. Some supporters no doubt will stop listening to it, but some will get behind the lads regardless. Rinse and repeat.
  16. Free beer all round, sounds good to me.
  17. I think he’s just on the wind up for some reason, or he is trying to cover his tracks for some total miss understanding of football. Look back at what he said about Tronstad after the match on Wednesday, suggesting he couldn’t be very good, as he was part of the team that nearly got relegated, but then contradicted that one, with his opinion on Pears. He seems to be unable to judge what’s going on in front of his eyes, or like I say, he is on the wind up.
  18. He’s carried on from Wednesday night. Amazing player is Tronstad.
  19. I don’t remember loads about him, but he was a player, who was part of the team, when I fell in love with Rovers aged 7 in 1972.. RIP big man.
  20. He reads the game brilliantly and seems to have a sixth sense, when it comes to danger. Like you say, you can’t coach that and I’m struggling to think of another player we have had, anything like him.
  21. Probably my favorite player in recent times. Having had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of times, a very level headed lad too.
  22. I really love Tronstad and the position he plays.
