  1. You missed Preston.
  2. It is quite incredible really that we have one of our posters on here, calling it EXACTLY as it was with regards to the Eustace situation, yet people can actually satisfy themselves that the club did not expect him to leave, once the next managerial job came up. No wonder the owners, Waggott, Suhail and the others are getting away with making mugs of the fan base, when some people appear to be as naive as this.
  3. You may well be right about no one expecting him to leave for Derby, but by all accounts he was touting himself for almost every job that came up. It also seems that he had offered his resignation over the summer and given his public displeasure at the January transfer business, do you not think someone at the club, should now be held responsible, for how long this is now taking After all, in your words, we had Eustace lined up, when it was known that JDT was unhappy, so why not have someone lined up with time too, especially with the prize on offer.
  4. Exactly and given the practice they had 12 months ago, you would have thought they would have perfected it by now.
  5. You are spot on, we were facing relegation under JDT. This time, with Eustace, we are in with a chance of promotion to the premier league and the riches that will bring. If it was done when bringing in Eustace, simply due to the threat of relegation, then why not this time, with the prize of a place, in the premier league on offer that the rewards that will bring. Does something not seem a touch strange to you with this?
  6. Exactly this. Something isn't quite adding up.
  7. It sees that Paul Mani knows more than you, me and Duncan Miller though.
  8. But according to Paul Mani, it was a process that is followed by leadership Execs standards and was carried out, which JDT was still the manager. Something must be amiss then?
  9. Really. I will ask them same question of you then And you know that, how? So after deciding that JDT was going all of this happened. Leadership / Execs standard = wishlist plus applicants sift, get down to a midsize list 10x, first iv’s (online), Get 10 down to 5 and then do second interviews (f2f) for the final group. Review and select successful candidate / finalise. 2-4 weeks. WOW
  10. Well it didn't work like that, when Eustace was appointed.
  11. Suhail had decided to wait and see how Lowe went. Do not be surprised if he suggests we lease a manager to Madame, as it’s cheaper
  12. He was in hospital at the same time as my wife. She was having a wisdom tooth put in.
  13. No way, should he be behind Forshaw.
  14. What's even more interesting, is how the owners have still pumped over £200m too, despite this profit on player sales. You have t wonder, who is on BIG wages here, as I bet my bottom dollar someone other than the players, is on a nice little earner. Cheques to agents, especially the super agent, who once worked for nothing for us and had the place rocking, might need scrutinising.
  15. It doesn’t cost a lot to subscribe and I would highly recommend it, having done so myself. If ads are bugging you that much, then there is a very easy solution.
  16. I couldn't agree more. He is a wonderful player.
  17. It’s crossed my mind that we should go for Adam Wharton too. If we do have a sell on clause, then it could make it more affordable, if we have the premier league money. What a boost that would be getting him back. We can dream I guess.
  18. I know you are probably already on it, but this guy is the reason why the transfer window was as bad as it was and the contracts of certain players are not being renewed. The narrative is, no need to send any money, it can run itself. You will find the Trust have in firmly in their sight, as you probably gathered from Duncan Miller and I think if the pressure is firmly ramped up on this guy and he is exposed for what he is, then it might start to change. The statement by the Trust of everything referring to Rovers as we and us but him referring to the VH Group and we and us, is as damning a statement, as you are likely to get. Make not mistake, this is the enemy within the ranks.
  19. As others have stated, he’s gone now and let’s move on. He will never come out and say, my head was turned by the extra money, just like any other player or manager in the football business, but there is lots of greed and money will have been a big factor in this. Does Eustace really care, where Rovers or Derby will be in 10 years? Does he heck. Much as I hate the regime at Rovers, what Eustace thought of it all is irrelevant, as I would bet my bottom dollar, had Rovers offered him 20% more than what Derby have, he would be still here.
  20. That’s quite correct about him hating the spotlight. Get him firmly in it and I think you will get some joy.
  21. That blows the initial statement made by the club apart and should be shown to Waggott and Pasha in any meetings, where they will no doubt yet again, use the owners are wonderful people and never fail to back us excuse. What a sorry state of affairs. The research done on this, is spot on.
  22. I don't mind if we loose it, so long as we don't lose it. Sorry, pet hate.
  23. Genuine tears in my eyes, looking at thatt. COYB
  24. Agreed and it’s the first time I have used it too.
  25. I watched the game on Rovers player from my home in Spain. With both goals I probably frightened the neighbors to death, but few understand much English, so get the fuck in, means nothing in Spanish. I was dreading the game, if I’m being honest and thought it would be that sinking feeling after and a final adiós to the play offs, but how wrong could I be. The first half was a containing type of performance, where we sparred rather than fighting our opponents, but pretty well sussed out that the home side were pretty toothless. Is it credit to Lowe and Johnson, or maybe the senior players, but who cares, as we pretty much came out for the second with your sleeves rolled up and really put them on the ropes. For the first, it looked like a rehearsed corner routine as Buckley signaled, Hyam moved to the back to win the header and Gueye not only finished it well, but found the space and ran into it, causing panic in their defence. For the second, Travis picked out Weinman in acres and his lay off looked miss placed , but big Mak was as cool as a cucumber with the control and finish. I thought it was as impressive an away performance as we’ve had for a while, with Hyam outstanding at the back and Gueye just covering every blade of grass and no wonder he ended up with cramp. One final thing that summed the whole night up, was Buckley towards the end, throwing himself into a block to snuff out, what could have been a dangerous shot. On to Plymouth now, who will be on the crest of a wave, after their last two, so let’s be guarded, but a win in that one and the charge for the play offs, will be well and truly on.
