  1. If I was guessing, I would be tempted to think that there are certain people from the very beginning who still need paying for their sterling work in finding a buyer. It makes no sense that despite all the cuts and all the sales that the losses are still at that level.
  2. It is purely and simply down to this court case. They were allowed to cover the losses and they no longer are. That’s left us with no option than to sell Wharton and likewise with Szmodics. Had they not been banned from sending funds due to their illegal payments, we could probably have retained Adam Wharton and got his real value in another 12/ 18 months. As it transpired, despite Waggott telling me to my face that the court would allow funds to be sent in February, as we now know that was not the case. It is being touted that August will be a breeze too, but I have serious doubts that they will simply not be allowed to send any more. To those who may have forgotten or not been aware, we were told it was due to a change in Indian tax laws that the funding was being cut, yet the truth all along was their illegal payments meant that they are not allowed to send any more funds without the courts permission and even that is on the proviso that they put a bond up for the same amount. That tells us all we need to know about how crooked they are.
  3. I have always thought the court case is going to mean they can’t send any more funds. With the funds already in, plus the likelihood that of a decent fee for Szmodics, that may mean we stay afloat for a season or two. Beyond that thought we would be in trouble, but hopefully it will mean they are forced to sell.
  4. I see what you did there. Stan and Oli?
  5. I wish we were 7 points clear now.
  6. If it was a car crash that he took over, then he has presided over a motorway pile up.
  7. The point made above about a 2 1/2 years contract is a valid one. Who in their right mind decided on that? Surely even a short term contract to the end of the season with a set target, meaning it was extended for 12 months would have been more like it. Had that target been based on wins, then there is a fair chance it would now been thanks bit no thanks. In terms of a replacement, who knows, but he would have to be pretty bad if he can't improve on an 11% win rate, as I think even I could do better than that.
  8. May I add that Duncan does this free of charge. Good to see that he cares enough to at least give some of the supporters something to connect with.
  9. Whichever way you look at what has happened this season at our club, if we do survive, will we have learned our lessons and will ensure it doesn’t happen again, or will we still be fed a load of nonsense about changes in tax laws meaning the owners can’t send any funds, which in reality means a court rule that they are a bunch of con men.
  10. Spot on and then all is swept under the carpet, as they expect us to rock up and buy our season tickets, only to suffer more of the same.
  11. I strongly suspect it was due to a clash of personalities between him and JDT but to loan him (and Buckley for that matter) to our direct rivals, is nothing short of pathetic. I know we will never be able to prove it and it probably didn't happen, but imagine that a small part played by Buckley helped secure a point or even 3 for Sheffield Wednesday and that sends us down.
  12. The long awaited follow up to I threw a snowball at Madame Desai?
  13. Agreed. I can't listen and haven't listened to a single press conference, he has had, since his appointment. After listening to JDT and his approach to calling people like Waggott out, I will explode inside, when he says what he does and makes out everything is fine and dandy. Granted like you say, he has to provide soundbites, but for now, until of if he proves himself worthy of managing Blackburn Rovers, I have no intention of listening to it.
  14. I have been told that there is a strong possibility that Watson Ramsbottom Solicitors will be replacing Totally Wicked next season.
  15. I do think more fans are realising this now and more seem prepared to vote with their feet. It remains to be seen what they do with the season ticket prices, but I honestly think, irrespective of what division we are in, the support is about to fall off a cliff.
  16. Sadly neither the owners or anyone else at the club, has the same passion as the fans.
  17. I don’t think selling it gets rid of the problem. The reason for the court hearings to obtain permission to send funds is down to them being found to have sent money illegally. They stated that the house purchase was a payment to fund the club and it was diverted to buy the house and also fund the Canadian singer. Hopefully they will be prevented from sending any further funds, which in turn means the accountants can’t put the statement into the accounts and we are therefore trading insolvent.
  18. What did it for me more than anything else was him stating that the Millwall and Plymouth games, were not must win. Had JDT been asked the same question, his answer would have been something like, of course, every game we play is must win. Eustace is a loser end of and a huge step back for us.
  19. I think a large percentage of the posters on here and the wider Rovers supporters, know only too well that it was pulled, due to the cost. The line it was an admin error, especially after last years fiasco, has made us an even bigger laughing stock, if that was possible.
  20. You are absolutely right and I am sure she can do the job, possibly as well if not better than Sylvester. The problem is as we all know, it is people above who are causing the real problems, yet they remain in place and unscathed, while the whole thing crashes and burns.
