Otherwise known as test the water, see what the reaction is and then bring him in, if all hell does not let loose. -

I can't think of any other person at Ewood who has mentioned Suhail, so interesting what JDT did there and fair play to him. -
I can see why it was in a church now, given the last line and the divine intervention required.

Yep, a £40m goalkeeper, replaced with one at £800k and no sign of getting anyone better. Hope we can sign some good defenders to help take the pressure off the keepers. -
We aren't getting as many as last season. I think more people have now seen through the bluster and down right lies that are coming out of the club. This coming season has DISASTER written all over it and given it is self- inflicted, it is not great surprise that the figures are at the current level.

The polar opposite of JDT, so it keeps the peace for those who do not want to rock the boat. Corporate bullying at it's best. -

There is a good story behind that game for me, as I sort of went, but didn't see much of the game. One of my best mates, had two brothers older than us, as we were 16 at the time and nearly ready for leaving school. They both drove, so Saturday morning on a bit of a wing and a prayer, they decide to go to the game and asked me and my mate if we wanted to share the cost of the petrol and go too. We jumped at the idea, a new ground and a rare chance in those days to see us away. The only problem was, it was before Sat Nav and we were relying on an old style atlas. Anyway, the inevitable happened and we got lost and arrived at the ground with about 25 minutes, if the game left. rovers end was locked, as was normal, to keep the fans in, after the game, so we took our chance and went into the home end as the had opened the gates. It soon became obvious that we were Rovers fans, so as the final whistle blew, that was it, we were in for a ruckus. The only way to escape was to go across the pitch, but as the MOTD pictures show, it was a cow field. It was either go home filthy of get a kicking, so we all chose the pitch. Needless to say, we were all filthy after, but at least in one piece and with a point added to our tally. -

He might have spent some of it on Cole for Newcastle. -

It’s because of all the sand in his eyes, from burying his head in it. -

No money to clean it, so maybe a call out for the fans to gather and sort it, like we did in the seventies. A lick of paint here, a bit of plumbing work on the toilets and Bob's your uncle. We may need to pay the milk bill too like we did in the old days. -

They won't all be leaving next year, if they are offered extended contracts now, which, as you know, was what used to happen. this seemed to have stopped, but the person who changed that little blip in our history, also seems to have gone now too, so perhaps we are back to where we were and players leave for nothing again. The cynic in me says, that might suit certain agents, who can then negotiate a bigger signing on fee, with no transfer fee, but maybe I am being unkind thinking that way. -

I am genuinely concerned that some people think selling our better players and replacing with players at around a third of the value, is acceptable The mess created by Venky's illegal activities resulting in them currently being banned from funding the running costs and us now resorting to this, is appalling. They are being treated as criminal in their own country, so let's make sure that us as fans, regard them as exactly that too. Money laundering is a criminal offence, everywhere in the world and that's what they are currently accused of. -

I have read the article through twice now and do not see it stating anywhere that John Eustace will have some money to spend. I have pasted below a version that could be interpreted that way, if you really trusted the words that come out of Ewood Park, but I don't, so think this might ne a little bit more of the cleverly worded statements, that appear to be the current flavour of the month. Feel free to paste what I am missing though, if I am miss reading it. John Eustace is expected to work closely with Park and Waggott on Blackburn Rovers' recruitment this summer. The head coach is expected to have some funds available after the January sale of Adam Wharton. -
I have always thought that the adjournments were to gather more evidence and stand by that. It’s been dressed up as just too many cases going on so they ran out of time. The biggest reason for me thinking this, is despite Waggott sending a breakdown of what the exact payment were and Venky’s stating it was protecting their investment, a 6 months gap between the original date and the actual hearing, surely spells trouble. Had we not sold Adam Wharton it is highly likely that bills/ wages would not have been paid, so the plea to allow funding, has fallen on deaf ears. There is still no evidence that they can still send funds in the interim and the cleverly worded statement from Waggott to WATR does nothing to alter my belief that the cannot fund us until after the court hearing. It remains to be seen what happens beyond the hearing, but it is certainly not the formality that was initially stated by the CEO.

It is a good shout actually especially given the narrative of the owners never fail to sign a cheque.

Their loss is our gain hopefully and lets face it, we have had it happen, the other way, often enough. -

There are still some people, who sadly can't afford it. -
In days gone by (and I know this as fact) the decision maker at the club, ended up giving someone in almost identical circumstances a free season ticket for him and his kids and an invite to come and have an autograph session with some players.
