  1. What we all must NEVER forget is people like Waggott have all been appointed by Venky’s. When you look at the first set of people plonked into these positions, including their first manager, it is very clear that the badly advised narrative is not one that fans in the know will swallow. I think almost everyone on here knows most of what has gone on, so the painful days like Saturday, just continue. The only real change is the people who are tasked with fronting it all.
  2. Is it a case of him seeing though his bullshit this time around. I have never met him and never will, bill do not get the impression we gave anyone but a wage thief at the club.
  3. I just watched the results and saw Preston lost 4-0 at home. I thought that’s a tonking, but it might not be if they played well.
  4. It’s not a normal club or ownership, so today does not matter, so far as the owners and the manager are concerned. No other club in the entire pyramid would allow a 16 game winless run and not say a peep to its loyal fans. Two or 3 more heavy defeats in the next 3 gam a won’t matter either. Project Rovers, is a very strange concept, even to those who would run through a brick wall for the club.
  5. Being a Blackburn Rovers supporter became a chore when Venky’s turned up. I bother, as they are a habit of a lifetime, but it’s no longer enjoyable or good for me. Venky’s have torn the heart and soul from the club and done the same to a large number of supporters too.
  6. I certainly watch in the hope that we win and not in the hope that the performance of our players increase their value. When we lose I’m pretty down about it and the opposite when we win. I would hate to think that the players and management have other ideas other than winning matches that inevitably leads to success if we win enough.
  7. It is probably a good job that the players don't actually say what they really think, most of the time. It could put the fans who genuinely love their club, clean off them immediately.
  8. The file might be a bit large. Try splitting into two different videos.
  9. I think the same will apply this season, as applied last. Yes, we are exceeding expectations just now, but to drop to 8th or 9th is bound to been seen as unsuccessful now, as we will have thrown away a big opportunity.
  10. It is very promising that we are seeing the youngsters being tied down. I have to admit that I honestly thought Phillips would have gone, so it is a bonus to see him sign, especially when we seem him perform like he did yesterday. Like most people on here, I simply want to see the club prosper and sincerely hope we have started to turn the corner with the contracts.
  11. Not too sure they were insulting offers, but maybe someone knows better than me on that. I have no idea what the amounts were. I have no inside information, but maybe some people do, but perhaps a rethink has now taken place, given so many have turned down previous contract offers.
  12. It hardly matters really, as we are being told that is the model to being sustainable. They need to have a long hard look at what they are offering, as we are almost certainly going to see the next batch do exactly the same otherwise. Unless, I am missing something of course.
  13. It’s been said before that Mowbray did not always seem to act in the best interests of the club. Granted people on here do need to be careful about their source of information, but looking back at things like this, certainly has eyebrows being raised.
  14. Each to their own, but I see a star in the making. He looks very special to me. His one goal so far was very classy and his debut was awesome.
  15. Nice to get a win and keep an interest in the cup. I hate going out early, as it puts me off watching the other ties. We rode our luck today, but dug in and ground it out. It was a tricky tie, so let’s hope to get a better draw in round 4.
  16. Not too sure if Rich Sharpe is defending someone, but he has said on Twitter he isn’t 100%. Not said fit after it so could mean 100% frame of mind.
  17. Very poor that and the manager needs to have a rethink. The lad is good enough for the league, so should definitely be starting today.
  18. We once had Jack Walker too and now we have some Indian people who probably had never heard of Blackburn 15 years ago.
  19. I bet his piece of paper, reminding him to look into it, was filed in for he bin, before you got into the car. Some great crowds in the league below us recently, namely Bolton and Ipswich. Both of those teams have struggled to attract supporters in the past, but manage it now. I bet their CEO’s are both paid far less than Waggott to do a far better job.
  20. Ken Anderson did his best to send Bolton in the same direction as Bury. I think that still having a club to support, along with some proper people in n charge, making sound commercial decisions has helped. Perhaps a few lessons can be learned by our lot, as things are getting better by the day there.
  21. I think the player most likely to find the killer ball to him, was suspended today. I think Adam Wharton is now a must. A bit of flair in the middle will make all the difference and he is our man. Hopefully he has now paid the price for any spat with the manager and he is given a run of games. he is far too good to be wasted.
