It might be wishful thinking, but I am convinced they will be found out and this court case will spell the end of them sending funds. That will mean irrespective of anything else, they cannot add that funding statement paragraph to the accounts, which means we trade insolvent.

I wonder how much letting all those womens team players leave and putting the rest on 16 hours has saved them? Interesting and does to a degree, conflict with what some other people think. (I am not having a go at anyone by the way) One big thing I have noticed, is that the owners have stated that sending the funds protects their investment. Given that the value of the club is probably around 25% of what they have put it, at a stretch, then every £1 sent seems to drop to 25p so that statement on it's own, could be torn apart and the bond could be at serious risk.

Some people think they still can send funds, but I think it is now becoming very clear that there is very little in the pot and even a free transfer is unlikely, due to agents fees and wages.

I think the fit and proper test, only relates to a potential purchaser. The key could be the statement in the accounts each year, as the owners funding is the only reason the club remain solvent. The statement made, is one whereby the owners commit to funding the shortfall and without that, I don’t think the accounts can be signed off and I don’t think the club will be able to make their annual promise to the league about their ability to see the season though. That could relate to the 25/26 season now though. The accountants will be fully aware of the court case and are no doubt keeping a close eye on it, as should the EFL.

Again this is very cleverly worded. The court date in August has nothing to do with Rovers, as probably quite correct, as it is the owners being investigated not Rovers. The outcome of the court case however, is highly likely to affect us, as if it go against them and they can no longer send funds overseas, it’s bound to have an impact. Things are very obscure, but until some funds are sent, I will carry on assuming the worst/best, depending on perspective.

I think that message was the obscure one, where the phrase used related to funding the club without impediment. This seems to have been rolled out by Elliott Jackson, not the club, but an actual quote saying they can send funds from India to the UK to fund Rovers has not been made, so far as I’m aware. There is a big difference, despite the inference and given that no funds have been sent since November, I remain sceptical.

I think a few believe in this poster, having the inside track. It has been clear to me since my meeting with Waggott in November, then the subsequent two adjournments, that this is very much the case. Despite some people still believing they can send funds, in reality they haven’t and in my opinion won’t, until they win the case, which I doubt they will. I have been counting down the days to the August hearing, as I firmly believe it’s going to be one of the most crucial days, in our history.

Given that there has been no funding sent since November, if that is the case, then the future funding is almost certainly not happening either. Personally I think it will go ahead and I think it will result in a bad outcome for the owners, but that's just my best guess.

I think our opinions are pretty much aligned. I don't think people realise how serious this court matter is. They are accused of tax fraud and money laundering and that will not be an easy, oh sorry we pressed the wrong button, type of way out for them. In my opinion, even the length of time, between the original hearing in February and the new one in August, makes me suspect there is a lot of evidence being gathered. As for not affecting Rovers, if that was the case, then why does some apparent tax changes, mean a 20% drop in funding, yet their properties being seized and them potentially being clobbered even further doesn't?

To be fair, I don't think we have been at this point before. The court hearing is less than two months away and I have to agree, that the outcome of this will be critical to our immediate future.

Maybe the money to get these over the line, is in an Escrow account in India.
