  1. He asked where the showers were and was told, they had just come off the pitch.
  2. It felt a bit like Elliott’s boss had forced him to do this and he was very reluctant to actually proceed with it. The questions were carefully selected and the answers very guarded and ambiguous.
  3. I have always held the view, that they have something to hide, as that’s the only thing that makes sense. Its a bit like not wanting to sell your house, as you know you bumped your wife off and buried her under the patio and say she ran off and started a new life. There is something buried in the past and they are scared it will come out, during due diligence, if they sell. Its only my opinion and of course it may not be a valid one.
  4. here is a link to the Q & A Session. Transfers, Venky's and your Blackburn questions answered | Lancashire Telegraph
  5. I asked on Twitter about the no objection certificate, but he didn't bother answering that one. He did answer the really important question though, like what will then line up be in the next 2 friendlies?
  6. The question and answer session, was on the LT website and consisted of about 6 questions. Total waste of time, as expected.
  7. I wonder if a players rebellion would work? With tricks like that, I am sure they are embarrassed by what the club do and I know they are unhappy with some of the charges they are brining in for them even as players and partners, so maybe, time for them to react.
  8. This reminds me of my late mother, who sadly, thought that smoking 60 cigarettes per day, was okay, because when your times is up, your time is up. Despite losing a leg to smoking, she carried on and passed away at 59. I used to say, if I walk across the M6 blindfolded at rush hour, I will be okay if my time isn't up, as that argument was a poor one, as is the PMA thing here. We all need to accept that the club is being destroyed by the owners and the current incumbents and although I respect people decisions to still go and watch the team PLEASE do not let these people get away with it, by allowing them to take advantage of your blind faith and loyalty.
  9. The bookies seem to be sussing it at last. Paddy power have is as third favorites for relegation at 7/2 although you can still get a generous 11/2 with Sky.
  10. No, but some did mention a weeks in tents training. My ears aren’t as good as they used to be though, so I might have miss heard it.
  11. Craig mentioned a few other things as well. He was on a recent day at the races, with a few other Rovers fans. At least the news is spreading.
  12. I just had a chat with the brother of a local glazing firm, who refused to do a job at Ewood, due to the late payment for a previous job. They insisted on payment up front or nothing doing.
  13. That's exactly what I think will happen. ED know they have been stretching the truth already and that's exactly why it has come to this. The bond should almost certainly be forfeited and the permanent ban put in place.
  14. I am pretty confident that the hearing will take place that day still and they will be stopped from funding. Assuming it is adjourned again, they still won't be able to add their usual funding statement, to the accounts, so it is effectively game over.
  15. Has he gone on trial, as a free agent?
  16. Paul Hogan more likely, as he once had a spell as a crocodile from Dundee.
  17. You can't control, what your football club do either, yet you accept that things are being done by people in power, who care as much as you and that everything will turn out fine.
  18. I think you’re a bit late to the party, Rudy.
  19. They probably forgot to mention the release clause, put in when no one was looking.
  20. https://www.goodisonnews.com/2024/07/12/everton-can-sign-blackburn-star-sammie-szmodics-at-discount-amid-fresh-twist/
  21. Everton too apparently, but £6m is being banded about.
  22. It’s probably not an unpopular opinion. In normal circumstances that would be good business and let’s face it, he has served Rovers well.
  23. We have the word should in there again. Waggott wants to believe all is fine, as a precedent had been set, but has now been taken aback with the adjournments. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, perhaps he actually believed that.
  24. I bet the interest rate, will be eye watering, so unlikely to be friends.
