It depends what he said at the interview. I can make you millions, with my contacts in Europe. The proof is the signing I made happen of Maguire, which was at 20 times his true value. That was all done and dusted, until the tea lady spilled the contents of the teapot, onto his contract and we missed the deadline.

Send him some Chile Con Carne, that might do the trick.

That’s a bent ref too and very topical after today.

My memory playing tricks on me. Cheers for posting and what a farce

It was amazing how quickly that spread, as from having very few of my schoolmates, supporting Rovers, back then, most used the chant in the playground if one of us shot wide during our many mini playtime games of 8 or 9 a side.

That's another one, I have never forgotten. I watched it on Sky and to make it worse, some of the pundits tried to justify the "foul" being given. Can you ever imagine that being given, in reverse? Never ever and even less so, when Sir Alex was in charge. PS I think it was a Sherwood "foul" by the way, but Shearer scored from his headed pass.

People still wonder to this day what "Beamo" means, but the older ones amongst us know exactly what it signifies.

There are a few on his back, in some cases undeservedly. -

A great and very unexpected win and very timely too. The first goal was pure poetry and the second not far behind. That’s how to play the beautiful game and beats a hopeful punt up the pitch hands down. A shout out for Ohashi, who I thought was brilliant today and deserved a goal for his work rate alone. -

It’s been a game worth watching so far. -
The match was a sell out, so it was beamed back to Ewood on the big screen. I couldn’t believe the decision when I saw it live, but when I saw it on match of the day later, I also came to the conclusion that it was a corrupt one. There is no way a qualified referee could not know it was a stone wall pen.

Bernard will be very proud of him, I swear.

A straight swap for Robins, would do for me.

Hopefully Eustace is on their wanted list, as the sooner he goes the better for me. I have never taken to the guy.

At lease we now know that Eustace is safe, even if we fail to sore in the next 4. -
As a stuntman?

We are 18/1 on William Hill and Paddy power. Those odds will have tumbled by the international break.

No wonder it was undisclosed. I would not want to be the person responsible for that fee, if it is at the level, quoted in this thread. He could well be used to lift up our new bus, if we get a flat tyre, but his goal scoring ability, deflates me.

I have never forgotten that penalty incident at Charlton, or the comments made by Alan Hansen on match of the day about it. “You will never see a clearer penalty in your life”. A biased opinion or not, it’s got to be the worst decision, I have ever seen on a football pitch ever and I’ve seen some bad ones.

We are out of options now, as we have strikers, who can’t score. I would definitely give Leonard a start on Saturday, just to mix things up. -

That’s precisely why I have not been able to listen to a single interview since he arrived. After JDT and his honesty in front of the camera, this guy just makes me feel like the final piece in the jigsaw, is now in place. They feed him what they like and he fronts up and defends it. No sign of a backbone and his horrendous record at home last season, is now back. We can’t score and we can’t defend. It’s already the annual tailspin, but earlier than normal. I see another blank on Saturday and he will no doubt come me out and defend that. We are in for a long hard winter.
