It’s been lack lustre, but we have managed to get away with a couple of shaky moments at the back. We look dangerous with Cantwell on the ball, in particular when he switches to the right. We could easily sneak this and wouldn’t be too surprised to see JRC hit the target. He’s had the two best chances and has teamed up well with Cantwell twice.

Why not start with our best attacking options and go all out for a couple of goals. The best form of defence is attack and although, I understand the need for caution in some fixtures, surely the last two were not those that we needed to be as cautious as we were. Let the opposition worry about us, not the other way round.

I took my Grandson to his first match when he was six. He lives and goes school in Preston, so it was important to make sure he became a Rovers fan, which he now is. We went in Jack’s Kitchen and into the Jack Walker stand for the match. We were very happy with that. I was proud to be there with my son too, so three generations of Rovers fans at the match together. I think any real football fan of the Claret persuasion, would also celebrate a point in those circumstances. If my memory serves me correctly, they did the same at Old Trafford last season. This was definitely a point gained not two dropped and had the shoe been on the other foot, I would have been disappointed at only drawing, when one up inside 10 minutes, playing 10 men and having spent 10 times the amount that they had. As RS has stated, celebrate away, as it was a thoroughly deserved point.

From what I’ve seen and from what’s going on, I agree. If they are a few points from the top 2 come January and given the unrest, I think there will be a mass exodus at that point and making the play offs will then be tough. Lots thought Kompany was top dog, but it could turn out that he has been the worst thing to happen to them for quite some time.
