  1. Whatever the content of the letter is, some visuals like this one need sending. Not just for the message, but to show them the filthy brickwork and weeds. Let it be known that this is being posted far and wide and that their name is above the door. Shameful neglect and if they are unaware of it, then perhaps they will take someone to task.
  2. A purely hypothetical scenario, but how would people feel, if it came to light that a hated player from the past, a hated manager from the past and a hated agent from the past, were receiving a percentage, of the season ticket money?
  3. I wonder if it’s pure coincidence that he was offered to Charlton, during Waggott’s time there? I know a lad who played at Barrow, when he had a brief spell there, where he had some expensive Jewellery and a nice car apparently. Quite telling that he made no appearances and was then moved on Torquay. Not a bad decline, considering he was good enough for the premier league. He hasn’t half dropped down the tears (spelt wrong purposely)
  4. I think point 1 is crucial. It has always bothered me that NDA’s were signed and stopped people from the inside, really spilling the beans. I remember in the early days, players like Salgado, appeared to want to blow the whole thing wide open, but we never really got a warts and all explanation. There must be quite a few players out there with an axe to grind, who would go down in history, if they blew the cover of things, that I strongly suspect have gone on that really would highlight how bad things have been. I will never forget the story about one player who was closely linked to the super agent, carrying Christmas hampers for the players, whilst enjoying the fruits of a premier league players contract. The accusation on that one, was that the fans drove him out of the club, despite him being g good enough to play for most premier league clubs, outside of the top six.
  5. There’s Myles more to add if he wanted to.
  6. Are these a few new signs, stating Venkys are shit?
  7. He is certainly watching a different player than me. A slightly better version of Corry Evan’s, is a crazy statement to make. Granted he isn’t a Tugay, but I see him, as the complete midfielder and don’t know of a better player in his position in the league.
  8. I honestly believe we have a gem and hope like hell, we can tie him down on a longer contract.
  9. Don’t forget and do it in a decaying stadium and be careful of treading in something nasty around the ground on your way in.
  10. My guess is hangers on and the people who were here at the beginning, still taking a wedge.
  11. Me neither. What would bother me even more, is if people are still being paid, who were around from the very beginning, such as agents and managers and maybe even the son of an agent, as I would not put anything past this regime.
  12. I know we have certain people on here, who understand detailed accounts. With my job, I do need to have a decent knowledge of both Limited company and sole trader/ trader accounts. It is impossible to decipher, the split in wages and the only way to actually find this out, would be for the club or the clubs accountants to state this. I know it is unlikely, but to be able to determine what is really happening, perhaps a breakdown of wages for players, wages for none playing staff and wages and P11D benefits for directors, would be required,
  13. In the season 2020/21 we had the following players at the club: Kaminski, Harwood-Bellis, Branthwaite, Ayala, Mulgrew, Elliott, Downing, Dack, Armstrong and Brereton. That's 10 players in my opinion, who are more talented, than most of the players amongst this years squad, so 4 years on, we still seem to have the same wage bill apparently, despite the reduction in player quality. I think if you match up the starting line up, in any of the games we have played this season, you would choose most of these players, over those who have actually played, but maybe some would disagree with that. Granted some of these players were on loan, but apart from one, all have played in the premier league. Maybe it is me being unkind, but the wage bill is surely distorted in some way, if it is constantly around £25m every season for the last 5.
  14. I know it hasn’t and that’s the bit Im struggling with. We seem to have signed less talented players in the last 3-4 years, or to be fair, cheaper options, where you would expect lower wages to be paid, yet the £25m seems to be a constant.
  15. I honestly don't have the foggiest, but I guess the wages for the staff, and the CEO and COO are taken into consideration. I would love to see how it all adds up though, as I suspect someone is on big wages somewhere, who is not a player or a "Hands on" director.
  16. I think we all consider them two to be overpaid, but surely £25m on wages is not now the real cost.
  17. Your post says nothing to do with Rovers, hence the problem, it’s not against Rovers, but given that it seems to be having an impact on them funding us, it does have a lot to do with Rovers. Your first paragraph is correct though, it isn’t against Rovers.
  18. You would hope so. With it being nothing to do with Rovers though, every will turn out just fine. 🙏

  20. In a lot of ways, that links to the wage bill, constantly being over £20m. I can’t get my head around it being that high, when we seem to be offering low ball wages and bringing in playeerz from abroad, or lower down the league from us. Surely something doesn’t add up.
  21. Well said. How the hell is the wage bill still that high?
  22. Pears injured. I was going to tell a sweet joke. Pears Dropped, but he’s injured
  23. I think that both David Goodwillie and Myles Anderson were given premier league contacts and the potugeezers, were given championship contracts. None of these were at the required level, we were playing at, when these contracts were dished out. Likewise with at least 3 managers too. During Venkys tenure, I would argue that some decisions were made that benefited third parties more than the club and its best we try to remember that, rather than blindly accept things, that don’t always seem right.
