  1. I am sure someone on here can provide pretty accurate number and a detailed account of what has happened.
  2. If anyone thinks this is too small to matter, if you call HMRC and admit that you have understated your income by around £5k per year for the last 5 years, sit back and see what happens. Tax evasion, money laundering and fraud, are all serious offences, irrespective of the amounts. For these who are still a little unclear about what can happen to an owner of a football club, getting involved in this sort of activity, check out where the Fleetwood FC owner Andrew Piley, currently resides.
  3. The cash injections appear to have stopped don't they. With the CEO celebrating paying the wages and hiring a bus, then it looks to me like every month is about to become a struggle. I hope I can pay my mortgage, bills and keep my vehicle on the road, without the need for a handout this month.

  5. Again, wild theories abound about what has to some, seemed like a deliberate relegation and then a reluctance to make it back to the prem. Your theory, would make sense with a desire to also keep out of the limelight and plod along in the second or third tier. After all a club the size of Rovers, away from the bright lights of the prem, attracts almost no global exposure. A perfect foil to do this sort of thing.
  6. Lots of people have been lambasted for suggesting things such as money laundering was at the center of all this. Granted there have been some far fetched theories, but it has never made sense them owning us. I also suspect this is the tip of the iceberg too, but hopefully, this will grow and a proper investigation will now take place. Hopefully the club will not suffer too much, as after all the club is the fans ultimately and a hardcore of these fans, did try their very best to show, not only the sports authorities, but the wider government, that there were big issue with the purchase and running of the club. The cover up took place and maybe now, finally the truth is starting to come out.

  9. It won’t be that bad!!!! Money laundering is a very serious offense and could lead to the perpetrators being jailed. https://samistilegal.in/powers-of-the-enforcement-directorate-under-various-laws-and-the-rights-of-the-accused-aggrieved-persons/#:~:text=As per Section 6 of,a fugitive offender or not.
  10. Glad to see our friends down the road got pumped by my favorite score line, on the day we played Plymouth.
  11. It would be interesting if they did one now, with the manager involved. I get the impression JDT would not wax lyrical, like Mowbray did and turn it into a love in. I’m sure some proper feathers would be ruffled and perhaps a few home truths would come out.
  12. It seems to be an impossible task, getting Suhail out from under his rock to face the music. If anyone has any ideas, post on here. There must be some way, we can apply some pressure.
  13. Shipped out to a club so desperate, they are flogging 10 year season tickets. Dont tell Waggott though, or we will start selling 15 year ones.
  14. If JDT does not fancy him, then he doesn’t pick him. I guess that then makes him a pointless signing. The truth of the matter is, if things are still being run in the same way that they have in the past, then he might be made to play certain players. I keep on hoping things have changed, but it seems like they never do.
  15. He got clattered when he bravely headed a dangerous ball away.
  16. I remember it well. Sweet revenge arrived later, as we sent them home with their tails between their legs. I think that win put us top and we stayed their until the end of the season after that. My first taste of promotion, as a fan.
  17. As JDT is at pains to point out in his interviews, he is as much in the dark as the fans. With the radio silence at the club, ever since the owners arrived, there is very little chance of anything other than the same again.
  18. They all arrived on the train actually. Not too sure if it was subsidised, but for some reason, it arrived early morning and all their fans went on the rampage in the town centre. You are quite right about the green paint.
  19. I am hardly surprised you became hooked. For that game to be your very first is amazing. I bet your Dad thought you were the lucky charm.
  20. Absolutely. I had never seen anything like it, at the time.
  21. Although it was at Ewood, the 1975 match always comes to mind when we play Plymouth. It remains the most enjoyable match I have ever seen in my life. Hope we can repeat the score line, although this site might go into meltdown, if the scoring sequence follows the same pattern. Those who were there, will know what I mean.
  22. Cheers for that. Sounds nasty that. I had to leg breaks in my time and luckily managed to get over both and carry on playing. I am pretty sure I will have played against you for West End, against both Lower Chapel and Marsh House. I can't remember playing Darwen Olympic, but definitely played against the other two sides you played for.
