  1. It’s ironic that Huddersfield have complained, as that’s exactly what they did when they played Birmingham on the last day of the season, when we went down.
  2. They will win that one. A bit like us V Luton, Boro will not risk using their best players and having them missing for the play off games. Both fixtures will be similar to Huddersfield V Birmingham, in our relegation season.
  3. I didn’t say don’t use the money, simply to lose Wharton totally would be very sad. A Blackburn lad who supports the club and is as talented as he is, should at least have a couple of seasons with us to enjoy him. I think you may have understood me, I meant loan Adam back if we end up having to sell him.
  4. Adam’s talents have been firmly showcased now, after some excellent games live on TV. The big worry for me would be losing him in the summer. It would take big money and if a premier league club does come in, then we need to do our best to secure a loan back, as part of the deal, It would be ironic, if it was Liverpool and our annual loan next season, was non other.
  5. I think we can win it. Out fate is in our own hands still. It’s tough, but if we win this, Luton will be resting players, having already made the top six. That would mean we can go into the final match, with a very good chance still. I can’t contemplate losing and them clinching it at our place. Although a draw would not be a disaster, it does then mean, rely on others.
  6. Norwich now 2 down and down to 10 men. That’s them out of it. Biggest rivals now are Cov, WBA, Millwall and PNE. Firmly in our own hands, but we must show up today. My heart is already pounding.
  7. To everyone going, sing your hearts out and let’s hope your roar us to a much needed victory. I will be watching from Spain, but will be back for the Luton game. Hope it isn’t a dead rubber.

  9. Two wins and a draw will do this now. PNE has to be a win. Luton MIGHT rest a few and if we go to Millwall needing a point, I would settle for that right now. If we get anything next Tuesday, it is a bonus, in more ways than one.
  10. I knew I wouldn’t sleep and here I am again on here at silly O’Clock. Been trying to work out, how this weekends results will go and how we will be feeling when he kick off on Saturday. I think Coventry and Millwall will win and if they do, I think we need to. I then think WBA will beat Sunderland on Sunday. If that does all happen and especially if we can win, then a point V the Dingles, would be a good one. I still have this funny feeling we will go to Millwall on the final day and both teams will need one point to finish in the top six. It would be so much better, had we held on, but to coin a phrase “This is Blackburn Rovers’.
  11. Hard to swallow that, but everyone put a shift in. I think I was sweating blood in the last 20 mins. It wasn’t to be, but had we lost, it was probably all over. We can definitely get something at Preston and will know the other results by the time we play. This time next week, if it is still in our own hands, I think we will do it. Nail biting stuff and it will be hard to sleep tonight now.
  12. I think he did V Blackpool, although I may be wrong.
  13. I only partly knew some of this, so have missed a few bits. It does sound like he could be difficult to manage, but hopefully someone can sort him out. What a shame it would be, if his apparent petulance, ruins his chances at Rovers and beyond.
  14. I won’t be betting on it, just pointing out what the bookies think, to give it a bit of perspective.
  15. Absolutely. I guess the same applied when everyone on here and more or less every fan wanted Kean sacked. All that really mattered was the owners opinion and they didn’t. In fact, they never sacked him. I wonder if he would still be here, if he hadn’t decided to walk? There have been some very strange things happening at the club, since these owners arrived and the sure as hell test the patience of us fans, whose opinions have never counted for anything, in their entire tenure. We all thought that rat picked the team, during those days. After all as you state with the current regime, it’s the managers opinion that matters. Those stories about others influencing his selections, including what subs to make, could well, just be fiction. Rovers have become an awful lot more different than they were pre Venky’s, so who knows whose opinions really matter here?
  16. It’s amazing that almost everyone on here says Wharton should be ahead of Morton in the starting line up, but still he isn’t being picked.
  17. It’s simple for me now, start Adam in the next two, as we are in the last chance saloon and need to try something different. I was genuinely both shocked and gutted that he didn’t start, last night.
