Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

150th Anniversary game V Derby County
lraC replied to ...'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
This is another good idea and I’m in agreement with you. I do think a pool of ideas, from either this site, or supporters in General will help to turn this into a real event. It just an idea I have floated to turn the 150th anniversary in general or the Derby game a real opportunity to expose this ownership and give us the stage to do so. -

I just wonder if it’s worth taking this one step further and perhaps producing a film. The theme suggested by a few 135 years of success 15 years of miss management. Focus on our fantastic previous owner in Uncle Jack and the polar opposite with Venkys. Ensure it is released on the 150th anniversary to give it maximum impact and incorporate a huge fans takeover day, for the Derby home game, being the last scene in the film, There seems to be a few producers who would do this, but below is a link to one such company. Happy to get a price and ideas, to possibly crowd find it, if there is an appetite to do so. https://reech.agency/solutions/media/?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22333343669&gbraid=0AAAAAD1zsEvW0pHMzi8j5K78wIAktVSSR&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgvnCBhCqARIsADBLZoLbmLc-r445z3ZpgS5WMPY1ANZdtinf4RVmkr0_6BbLzI6A2k06lrgaAqyOEALw_wcB -
150th Anniversary game V Derby County

What about turning this into a Venky's out day and an unofficial fans takeover day. Obviously, anything inside the ground could be frowned upon, but perhaps a big helium balloon release form the Fernhurst car park, face painting with blue and white halves and Venky's out in red and maybe some T Shirts with Venky's out on them. The club seem to be giving a collective two fingers to the fans on this, so lets give it back to them and really shove it up them.- 31 replies

I know the new board members will bring some new ideas, into play, but I think a Trust led campaign to ensure the 150th anniversary is celebrated properly, is likely to attract new membership too. Given what was said about the foreword in the planned book and how it was suggested that if the owners do insist on doing that, it will die a death, I think we need to accept that it will pass off with hardly any proper recognition, if we leave this to the club.

Venky’s v Indian Government (a)

Perhaps, it is not only their decision. Plenty of agents seem to have been involved over the years and I know it was rumoured that Venky's were a front and the real owners are agents and others, but who knows. It certainly makes no sense at all, that they would hang onto the club, at this juncture, it simply does not add up. -
You normally can't drink beer in Spanish football stadia, in view of the pitch.

Venky’s v Indian Government (a)

Brilliant. Helps massively, hopefully not just for me, but for those on here and beyond. It could rumble on for a long time this, by the sounds of it and the longer it does, the more if an impact it will have on the club. It begs the question yet again, as to why under these circumstances, would anyone hold onto the club, and after last nights WATR AGM the very fact that enquires have been made to purchase the club, but have been stonewalled, leads me back to where I have always been and that is the are running scared of some questionable activity, being discovered, should a deep dive of the accounts and the original takeover, take place. -

would you mind expanding on the investigation, has reached the adjudicating phase? When is this, what dies it mean and what is the anticipated outcome? Sorry, if I am asking too much, as I know you have spent a lot of time already on this. -
Here is a video of last nights AGM for those interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1ZIZ7Xgick

Blackburn Rovers Women

I wonder if they will play in skins? -
It will look well for those who have already booked travel and lodgings, if the 2 fixtures in Spain are cancelled. Surely the opposition must be know by now, as it is less than 4 weeks away.

2025 Summer Transfer Thread. 😂
lraC replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
It was suggested that Lowe was once sacked and he went to the owners and was reinstated. As forever Blue mentioned the Twitter account Rovers insider has suggested he is unsackable and did have a direct line to the owners. It would seem to be a big deal, if he does get moved on. -

So, long as they booked it in advance and there is no riot act to be read, it should all work out well. -

Sorry, I usually get these, but missed that one. To be fair, I don't think it has been publicised very well, to be honest -

I have checked this out and it is tomorrow night, not tonight. I have no idea, why this has not been publicised on here a little more, but perhaps, anyone from the Trust can clarify. Newsletter - April 2025 | We Are THE Rovers -

I thought it has been publicised to be honest, but perhaps not. Double check, in case I have this wrong. -

No problem at all. I am all for healthy debate and let's face it, most on here have the same goal. It would be a boring place, if we all had the same views and opinions. -

I am genuinely not giving them any means. These conversations about the impediments have come about, due to my interpretation of what that word means and what other peoples is. I am not for one minute excusing them for not sending funds, quite the opposite. In my view to end up in this position through gross miss management and through manipulating, and miss representing, what funds being sent, for the benefit of the football club, were really used for. I would rather putt his conversation to bed and accept that some people understand the word in a different way than I do, which I am fine with and carry on, perhaps with my little bit if input in raising ideas and posting my thoughts, on how we rid ourselves, of these people. Matter closed, so far as I am concerned. -
Venky’s v Indian Government (a)
lraC replied to tomphil's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Believe me, when I say, I am an extremely fierce critic of the regime and have no desire to defend them for not sending funds. It is complete of their own doing that the restrictions have been put in place, namely the NOC, Bond, permission from the court and now apparently the need for an affidavit and I am not for one second excusing them for not sending funds, I am 100% critical of the mess that they have created that has brought about these impediments, restrictions, barriers, or whatever else, we choose to call them Thankfully, they have been able to comply with them and still send funds and I am hopeful that these remaining in place, leads them to think twice about their ownership and in turn, makes them realise that carrying on, is futile and they agree to sell the club. -

Incredible after all the effort that you put into doing that, how disrespectful that is.
