  1. They got a lot of their old fanbase back and more besides, due to the way they presented to way forward and the future for their club. It is a pity, the decision makers at Ewood are not prepared to look at this model for some reason and at least embrace some of it. Their current manager took some bedding in and had to accept an awful lot of stick initially, but has got it right and they are moving in the right direction again.
  2. I know they are. They had a trip down to league 2 and most fans were prepared to accept that to get rid of the likes of Anderson and Houldsworth. I hope we find good owners immediately after these lot leave, but was we saw BWFC it took more than one change of ownership.
  3. I know you didn't ask me and I therefore apologise for jumping in. I follow what happens at Bolton a fair bit, not because I have any love for the club, but because my late ex- wife was from Bolton and I therefore have a lot of former in laws who lived in the town and support the club. My kids were also brought up there and went to school there and have mates who are Wanderers fans. After Phil Gartside sold out, the club were bought by Ken Anderson and their former player, Dean Houldsworth. Funds used to buy the club, were mainly borrowed and there was a huge power struggle between, the two that Houldsworth lost. Anderson took control and some of the things that happened to that club, were downright despicable. A quick Google search for anyone interested will show what happened and is a prime example of the sort of thing that can happen, even after a sale to what appears to be, better custodians. Another one that springs to mind is Portsmouth, who if my memory serves me correctly had 3 or 4 owners in a very short space of time, all of whom appeared to have ulterior motives. I can't wait to see the back of Venky's, but there are no guaranteed that we will end up in the hands of decent people.
  4. We never win when we go behind, unless it’s Millwall away.
  5. It’s there for the taking this, if we can step it up a bit. We are poor, but they are awful, especially at the back.
  6. I suspect the director's of Crossbaron Limited, will also have some sort of a connection too.
  7. Venkateswara London Limited (company number 13452736) have 2 current Directors, namely Prashan Laxman Gomashe and Ketan Shrikant Ranade, both of them are Indian. The do not seem to be directly related to Venky's. The charge of the training ground has been placed by Crossbaron Limited, whose two directors are Anil Kumar Pitalia and Asha Pitalia, who are both British. Their address is listed as 25 Chorley new road Bolton. 13452736
  8. I am exactly the same way Gav. All we can do as loyal fans, is enjoy the bits we can (Success on the field mainly) and wait for the inevitable failure that the owners will suffer and pick up the pieces from there.
  9. It's amazing what this has evolved into. Who in their right minds, would have let all of this happen. This is exactly why I find it very hard to deviate from, them (or the initial people involved) having something serious to hide.
  10. Exactly. The last thing they want to happen, when every penny counts is fans to not be able to buy a ticket for was it 48 hours? As someone with IT knowledge pointed out at the time, the length of time it was down for, did not suggest a service issue, more likely a problem with the payment perhaps?
  11. We will no doubt find out, way after the event, so it could already have happened. It is if and when we hear that the players haven't been paid that we realise how dire things are. My guess is that this will happen, before the end of the year and I still think the website being down, the phone lines being down and the closure of the Blackburn end and even the close of one of the refreshment points on Saturday, were all due to cash flow issues.
  12. Based in Coventry, have had connections with the company, who have placed a charge on the STC and are called Badeshite. Who exactly are they Steve and can you explain the long term plan please? I’m sure there is nothing to see here.
  13. Two things. Why would we need to borrow from that type of company? Has our credit rating taken a battering? Is this company a venture capitalist?
  14. Strange or pure coincidence, but anyone taking a look at the link, will see him connected at one point to a company called Badeshite Limited.
  15. Here is a link to the companies Ceri John Richard has been involved in. It may not be out of the ordinary, but seems like a lot to me. https://www.companydirectorcheck.com/amp/ceri-richard-john-16
  16. Crossbaron Limited are the company who have put the charge on the STC so must have lent the company some money. A former director Ceri Richard John, based in Bridgend, has been a director in 2381 companies in the last 23 years. He is currently a director of 143 companies and secretary of 5 others. Link below. https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/08818037
  17. I just got this from Companies House. Not too sure about that address and I do wonder if the activities, namely "Activities of head offices" is an allowable one in India, given the recent problems with ED. According to the Companies House, the company with company number 13452736 is VENKATESHWARA LONDON LIMITED 1. The company is a private limited company and was incorporated on 11 June 2021 1. Its registered office address is located at Squire Patton Boggs (Uk) Llp (Ref: Csu), 60 London Wall, London, England, EC2M 5TQ 1. The company’s nature of business is “Activities of head offices” 1.
  18. Hope it isn’t another insignificant mortgage fraud. Any idea, who the charge is in favor of? My guess would be Barclays
  19. I did read an article about the debt they put the club in, when buying it. In some ways it seemed like a smaller version of what United did. Spending like they did looks like a real risk, so makes me wonder what their aim is. Cut and run possibly?
