Looks like the training was to say goodbye and he has done exactly that and off he pops. I fear there may even be a player backlash after this latest kick in the nuts.
-
So when you say not a lot they can do, you actually mean, not a lot they want to do is it?
-
Not a lot Rovers can do? John, we know you have that clause in your contract, but of course that went in and was agreed by both parties, before we knew you would keep us up and before you got us into the top 6. We realise that we have let you down in the transfer market and we will give assurances to you and sign in with blood, that we will give you a decent sized budget, if we remain in the championship and if you get us promoted, there is a £5m bonus and a 10 year contract waiting for you. So far as the players contracts are signed, you tell us, who you want to keep and we will extend each one and give them a considerable pay rise. After all, we have got the funds, from the recent sales and the bonus from agreed sell on clauses, so we are about to release the purse strings and ensure you are given a fair crack on the whip. No need to go and speak to Derby, we are announcing in the press quite soon, that the goal of avoiding relegation, is being replaced with an all out assault on reaching the premier and you are pivotal in that. Now that's what Rovers can do, instead of suggesting to the fans that he is homesick.

No way on earth, that is a Rovers fan.
-
I have to say, that I considered Jackson to be a yellow belly, scared to upset the applecart, but fair play to him for this, scathing article.
-
What are some or the people on, who have commented on this?
-
I'm not on my own, but if the desire was there and the fans saw him for what he is, then it could happen. Sadly, I suspect that too many people will shrug their shoulders and accept the next load of bullshit they will be fed, this time, about a manager, who was on the verge of bringing the highest finish, since relegation. Nothing to see here, he just wanted to move for lot's of other reason, but nothing to do with the club/ Pasha, failing to deliver on the promises they made.
-
You posted about the club talking him into no resigning a while ago and I am pretty sure you are right. if you know about it, then all those who matter at the club, the players, coaches and other key employees, will know about it too. Given how Suhail is controlling the club and how he seems to be ensuring that the owners spend nothing, it is time to properly out him and I think it has to be the way now, rather than trying to get Waggott to come clean. I noticed at the player of the year night in April last year, how Suhail was lurking around, keeping his eye on everything and he gets away with blending into the background and has no one to answer to, yet he is pivotal in everything.
-
The problem is, when this is rolled out as the reason, plenty will believe it and once again, we will hear the old way cry from above. Get behind the lads, they need you more than ever now and out honourable owners will sign loads of cheques and everything is rosey.

A cunning plan Baldrick. I like the sound of that.
-
He will be gone by lunchtime, it is not in the balance in my opinion, he is 99% gone and only some desperate attempt behind the scenes will change this, which history tells us, is highly unlikely.
-
It could be an interesting day. Whichever way it goes, someone at the club needs to come out and explain how it has got to this, but I won’t hold my breath.
-
Just mentioned
-
He was promised backing if he kept us up. Foolish to believe that of course, but as we all know, that’s what these people do.
-
There will only be disappointment from me, if he doesn’t say “Ask Steve and Suhail”. When asked why he is leaving.

It comes up more or less at kick off. -
Let’s hope he states that then and does not beat about the bush.
-
They may be a very critical friend now.
-
The only way that happens, is if they do the usual pissing about and don’t appoint anyone and DJ steps in again and works some magic.
-
Surely another vote of no confidence needs to be issued, but this time no cop out.
-
Sadly, I think the no I can’t see it people, have their heads in the sand. Hopefully, this will shake a few more, out of their slumber.
-
Cast your mind back to JDT being banned from the post match press conference. Anyone on the verge of saying it how it is, will be silenced.
-
I just hope and pray that he states the real reason for leaving and not some made up platitude. He will rise massively in my opinion of him, if he does.
-
It’s taken Eustace less than 12 months to see how disfunctunal, the club really is. It speaks volumes if he leaves to take over what is a difficult job in avoiding relegation.
-
I agree whole heartedly, about Gestede. I think he is another rat joining the sinking ship.
