  1. I don't think there is any coverage in the UK. It is being shown overseas, in several different countries, including Spain, where I will watch it from.
  2. I have to admit, I was surprised when I saw that, but yes, only in the word of football.
  3. I have dealt with a mortgage from one of the current Rovers players and when he was on loan Rovers paid his basic wage, plus a loan bonus as well. Assuming we were receiving a loan payment from the club he was on loan to, perhaps we pay Buckley’s wage and a portion of what we get from Wednesday to him too. That money to Rovers from Wednesday may not be coming any more, unless the fans stump up. Perhaps it means we can recall him. A very similar thing happened at Bolton when Anderson was the owner. They had a Forrest Green striker on loan, who they failed to pay and he went back, part way through.
  4. If the vultures are circling, he needs to look elsewhere for funds, not ask the fans ( some of whom he has been abusing) to bail him out. A cretin on the highest order. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/sheffield-wednesday-owner-dejphon-chansiri-net-worth-business-interests-owls-plans-and-more/
  5. It is on a few channels in various countries, including Spain, so I can get it. It is silly that that Rovers TV can't show it, even if it was a pay per view, rather the than included in the season package they sell..
  6. They may not to quite as good next year, if they do come down. I have a feeling the yanks were somehow persuaded to spend big and back Kompany to excel in the prem. If it does backfire and they come back down, they could well tighten the purse strings and put an end to their yo yo years, at least between the prem and championship anyway.
  7. I think I saw him holding his ribs. Possibly picked up a knock there.
  8. Put that early Brittain chance away and it was a different game. We have started like that about 3 times now.
  9. Another minute and the fans would have had a hand full.
  10. Their manager is just about to come on Sky to have a moan about VAR. They got a goal disallowed in last few mins that took 5 mins to review. What a shame!!!
  11. Hope they don’t go to the dentist, before Wednesday.
  12. They are poor are poor at the back. Early goal in the second half and we can win this.
  13. You can tell that he went there to enhance his career then and not for the money.
  14. So how many does Henderson play in front of?
  15. Could be an interesting one, especially after the so called City investigation last year. That seemed to die a death, will this?
  16. They got a lot of their old fanbase back and more besides, due to the way they presented to way forward and the future for their club. It is a pity, the decision makers at Ewood are not prepared to look at this model for some reason and at least embrace some of it. Their current manager took some bedding in and had to accept an awful lot of stick initially, but has got it right and they are moving in the right direction again.
  17. I know they are. They had a trip down to league 2 and most fans were prepared to accept that to get rid of the likes of Anderson and Houldsworth. I hope we find good owners immediately after these lot leave, but was we saw BWFC it took more than one change of ownership.
  18. I know you didn't ask me and I therefore apologise for jumping in. I follow what happens at Bolton a fair bit, not because I have any love for the club, but because my late ex- wife was from Bolton and I therefore have a lot of former in laws who lived in the town and support the club. My kids were also brought up there and went to school there and have mates who are Wanderers fans. After Phil Gartside sold out, the club were bought by Ken Anderson and their former player, Dean Houldsworth. Funds used to buy the club, were mainly borrowed and there was a huge power struggle between, the two that Houldsworth lost. Anderson took control and some of the things that happened to that club, were downright despicable. A quick Google search for anyone interested will show what happened and is a prime example of the sort of thing that can happen, even after a sale to what appears to be, better custodians. Another one that springs to mind is Portsmouth, who if my memory serves me correctly had 3 or 4 owners in a very short space of time, all of whom appeared to have ulterior motives. I can't wait to see the back of Venky's, but there are no guaranteed that we will end up in the hands of decent people.
  19. We never win when we go behind, unless it’s Millwall away.
  20. It’s there for the taking this, if we can step it up a bit. We are poor, but they are awful, especially at the back.
  21. I suspect the director's of Crossbaron Limited, will also have some sort of a connection too.
