  1. Well I suppose time will tell, but it’s Weasle words if he starts applying for the next available job and offers to resign in the summer. Sadly, I have seen all this before and although, I will gladly apologise if I’m wrong, he is just another in a string of propaganda stunts, saying what his paymasters want him to say, to pull the wool over the fans eyes, yet again. I haven’t forgotten the Tony Mowbray “This is Blackburn Rovers” to “ It isn’t 1995 any more”, or the Owen Coyle “ I have never heard of Kentaro” or the JE “ We are all in this together” whilst looking to move on at every opportunity. The only manager who seemed to give the overlords a bit of stick back and genuinely tell the fans about the tricks the club were up to, was JDT and they made sure he was whisked out of the door, the minute he called them out. “You will have to ask Steve and Pasha”. “I will go and pick him up myself, in our new bus”. They all do it and it sickens me that these people come in, spout the spiel and then shit on the fans, at the first opportunity. I sincerely hope I’m looking foolish, come the end of the season, or even at the end of next season, but this just feels like another rinse and repeat episode.
  2. De merit, it’s plural. Allez les bleus.
  3. I can obviously see through something you can’t.
  4. Some of it beggars belief. It might as well have started, Dear gullible fuckers.
  5. That’s pathetic to be honest, before a ball is kicked in anger, under his management. No way should he be spouting shit like that, until he has some wins under his belt. Whether he wrote it or not is irrelevant as his name has been put to it. Walk the walk, but do not talk the talk until you have. I was open minded about the appointment, but this stinks of taking the fans for mugs.
  6. Spot on and let's get this signed and ramp the pressure up.
  7. I think we all know that if he does well and for example takes us into the play offs and we don't go up, but then has us up there next year, by the end of January, then he will be looking to move and every job that comes available will be one, where he is mentioned as a possible candidate. Should he fail and have us near to the bottom of the league, then the fans will be calling for his head, but he will be safe, just like most other managers under this regime. I like the post made by the WBA fan and hope we have a gem on our hands, but as usual, it really doesn't matter one way or another, as we still have Pasha and his bosses, who will continue to cause their havoc, come what may.
  8. It is a bad trait that a couple of posters on here have, but fortunately, they are in the minority.
  9. Me neither, but for what it's worth my recruitment policy is try to choose someone who has been recommended for the role, by someone you know and trust. I have not yet sacked anyone, or had anyone leave on bad terms in over 30 years, of being in business.
  10. Hope he manged to get his buy out clause on there as part of his package, as he might need it.
  11. You missed Preston.
  12. It is quite incredible really that we have one of our posters on here, calling it EXACTLY as it was with regards to the Eustace situation, yet people can actually satisfy themselves that the club did not expect him to leave, once the next managerial job came up. No wonder the owners, Waggott, Suhail and the others are getting away with making mugs of the fan base, when some people appear to be as naive as this.
  13. You may well be right about no one expecting him to leave for Derby, but by all accounts he was touting himself for almost every job that came up. It also seems that he had offered his resignation over the summer and given his public displeasure at the January transfer business, do you not think someone at the club, should now be held responsible, for how long this is now taking After all, in your words, we had Eustace lined up, when it was known that JDT was unhappy, so why not have someone lined up with time too, especially with the prize on offer.
  14. Exactly and given the practice they had 12 months ago, you would have thought they would have perfected it by now.
  15. You are spot on, we were facing relegation under JDT. This time, with Eustace, we are in with a chance of promotion to the premier league and the riches that will bring. If it was done when bringing in Eustace, simply due to the threat of relegation, then why not this time, with the prize of a place, in the premier league on offer that the rewards that will bring. Does something not seem a touch strange to you with this?
  16. Exactly this. Something isn't quite adding up.
  17. It sees that Paul Mani knows more than you, me and Duncan Miller though.
  18. But according to Paul Mani, it was a process that is followed by leadership Execs standards and was carried out, which JDT was still the manager. Something must be amiss then?
  19. Really. I will ask them same question of you then And you know that, how? So after deciding that JDT was going all of this happened. Leadership / Execs standard = wishlist plus applicants sift, get down to a midsize list 10x, first iv’s (online), Get 10 down to 5 and then do second interviews (f2f) for the final group. Review and select successful candidate / finalise. 2-4 weeks. WOW
  20. Well it didn't work like that, when Eustace was appointed.
  21. Suhail had decided to wait and see how Lowe went. Do not be surprised if he suggests we lease a manager to Madame, as it’s cheaper
  22. He was in hospital at the same time as my wife. She was having a wisdom tooth put in.
  23. No way, should he be behind Forshaw.
  24. What's even more interesting, is how the owners have still pumped over £200m too, despite this profit on player sales. You have t wonder, who is on BIG wages here, as I bet my bottom dollar someone other than the players, is on a nice little earner. Cheques to agents, especially the super agent, who once worked for nothing for us and had the place rocking, might need scrutinising.
  25. It doesn’t cost a lot to subscribe and I would highly recommend it, having done so myself. If ads are bugging you that much, then there is a very easy solution.
