  1. Maybe. One of the best I have ever seen live, that's for sure and I have seen a few good ones.
  2. I bet he has dreamt about that one over and over again. I know I did and it took me a while to get over it.
  3. I didnโ€™t realise they were stopping at La Finca. Nice hotel and Golf course with a brilliant restaurant too.

  5. I was out in the areas, around 7.00pm last night and just walking at a brisk pace had me sweating. I would imagine there will be plenty of drinks breaks and definitely plenty of changes.
  6. The third pre- season friendly sees us visit the quaint Pinatar Arena in the Murcia region of Spain with a 7.00PM kick off, local time 6.00pm UK time. The stadium itself is a a 3,000 seater arena, which is part of the larger Pinatar Arena football centre, which includes a sports club, hotel, training facilities and other amenities. It is the first time I remember Rovers playing a match in Spain, either a friendly or otherwise, although my memory is not what it was, so maybe we have played in Spain before, in my lifetime. The match is also part of a two game tour, as we are due to take on La Liga bound Elche CF on Friday 25/07/25 also at 7.00pm local time. The match should provide some more match fitness to most of the squad, as I suspect changes will be a plenty as the temperatures in the area just now are pretty high. For those travelling there are a few bars in the area and I can recommend the corner music tavern a stones throw from the stadium, where you will find a nice selection of drinks and food. I know nothing at all about the opposition, so perhaps those with any knowledge of Qatar SC can give us some idea of the quality of the opposition and what Rovers will be up against and if this will be a stiff test or not.
  7. I commented when he took the catch from the corner, that itโ€™s the first time Iโ€™ve seen that from a Rovers keeper in a long time. It takes so much pressure off the defence, so hopefully a sign of things to come.
  8. I do agree he has been good considering his lay off.
  9. yes, going to both and hopefully we be meeting up with a few friends there.
  10. The coalition consists of people who have been involved in fighting for the cause, many times. I personally believe that, without certain people, this club, would either be gone already, or certainly a whole lot lower than we currently are. When you look back and realise what desperate attempts, certain people involved at the very beginning did, it shows how dangerous they were. Threats to lives, physical attacks even attempts at paying people off, who were protesting were made, not to mention, trying to discredit people by crying to the media. I personally believe that some of these chancers, still exists, but as a result of the efforts made both in the past and now, the chances of them succeeding are less and I definitely have more hope than I otherwise would have, that they will eventually be driven out.
  11. It has been an exciting summer though. Just not at Ewood.
  12. I can't see a club letting that happen. Selling players, just to pay the costs of running the club, surely not.
  13. This is exactly it. Mistakes like pressing the save button instead of send, or missing deadlines by a few seconds, saves the club millions. We then find out that we are skint, yet we are expected to believe these were genuine mistakes.
  14. That's good thinking. I have shared it a few times too, so hopefully the word is spreading further.
  15. I think that's why K- Hod said what he did about it not being high praise. I think Pasha is as bad as it gets, with no clue on how to run a football club, no concept of how the cost cutting impacts on the chances of the team and is also frightened to death of confrontation Waggott was all you describe and probably a bit more, but Pasha is a whole lot worse and a whole lot more devious and damaging.
  16. I donโ€™t know if any of the information in this article, was provided by the FF or coalition, but it sums things up nicely. https://therealefl.co.uk/2025/07/16/blackburn-rovers-deserve-better-than-this-ownership-farce/
  17. Directors A & B form Limited Company C and as a result of the company needing capital to commence trading and the directors having the capital in their own names, they lend the company ยฃ100k. This is then shown as a creditor in the accounts. The company begins to trade and after 5 years, builds up some capital in the business and has ยฃ50k in the bank. This can then be used to repay the directors who can then receive the money free of any tax liability, as it is the return by the company of part of the loan, they made. The accounts will then show the ยฃ100k reduced to ยฃ50k to be repaid at a later date when the company has the funds and the directors decide to repay it.
  18. I bet the agents have come out of this best.
