  1. We won’t win with us conceding like we do. We are terrible at the back and keeper not helping
  2. Who will face the music if we go down due to this decision? There will be a chorus of boos at some point and if Greg is instrumental in the decision, he can’t have great Eurovision of our future aspirations.
  3. I can confirm that the weather here is very nice at the minute and I will not be going on loan back to the UK any time soon.
  4. The club (mainly Waggott) have been confident of many thing that have failed to materialise. The very fact that the owners have to attend court to have funds released is first of all very worrying in itself There is also the added issue that they are also being investigated and lets face it, if the Indian authorities are faced with charging the owners of wrong doing, the last thing they will allow is for several million in hard cash, to leave their shores. We don't seem to matter very much to the owners themselves, so we will matter even less to the Indian courts and a football club a few thousand miles away, will be irrelevant, it it means Venky's not having the funds to pay any fine/tax due.
  5. Hope like hell we don't sign him and sell them Leo, for a quick profit.
  6. Well it has worked out well then, as they have got themselves a dud, if he does go there.
  7. Not good enough for the prem, but of they keep him for next season, he could get a few.
  8. For those fans who see Venky's as the only reason Rovers till exists, we have had 137 years without them. Like plenty of other clubs, the end will not be nigh, if we go into administration, as it could lead to relegation or even two, but the tide will turn eventually, as it has done with lots of other clubs over the years. Of those listed in the article below, some are plying their trade in the prem and Championship with very few folding completely. 10. I think there was a very similar proposition made many years ago by Ian Battersby and Ian Currie. From what I remember it was turned down flatly and is one of the reasons that I have come to the conclusion that thy are hiding something. They will have pumped at least £150m in since then and they recent Indian press article about the illegal payments, certainly fuels my suspicions that something untoward is going on.
  11. This is one of the articles in the Indian press about the illegal payments. ED seizes immovable properties worth over Rs 24 cr of Venkateshwara Hatcheries under FEMA provisions (aninews.in) A link to the website too. 12. I do wonder if someone could get the ear of the Indian Journo who penned the article about the illegal payments and maybe give him the fans version of events that are taking place at the club.
  13. I am hoping that the funding will not be approved by the Indian courts this time. From what I was told, we have enough to keep us going until February, so unless we sell a couple of players (Szmodics and Adam Wharton) in January, for decent money, then this would mean we can't pay the bills and administration is likely to follow. It is hard to believe that I and many others are wishing administration on our own club, but this is getting desperate.
  14. It’s pretty obvious that they have sussed our keeper out. Three corners all right under the bar. It’s going to cost us again in this match as they will pump another one in, even if it’s a long throw. It’s got to stop, as we do have other options that surely cannot be worse.
  15. I have had to watch most games this season on Rovers TV due to living abroad,?so can’t really tell if it was a one off or not, but I saw the Stoke away game at their stadium. That day Tronstad was outstanding and sat in front of the back 4 protecting right the way across. Was that a one off and the clean sheet we got that day as a result? On TV it isn’t as easy to see, but he doesn’t seem to have been covering like he did that day, in any game since.
  16. It’s on Rovers TV for those watching from overseas.
  17. I would hope that there is something in the TK transfer to give us a bonus if Luton stay up. Does anyone know?
  18. Some good points made on JDT today and although varied are all perfectly valid. I am in the JDT fan club, but can fully accept some of the criticism about him from some posters today.
  19. I fully agree. There is no manager getting g a tune out of 3 of the starting lineup today. The keeper and right back were more of a hindrance than a help. If that was a one off fine, but that’s more often than not. Ennis is not a championship standard striker and his German replacement may as well bid auf wiedersehen to us all now. Yes JDT has his faults, but how is he supposed to make a silk purse out of some of these?
  20. I didn’t say that. I am sure it did, but the guy is working with a hand tied behind his back. I’m sure you can see that too.
  21. If I was him tonight I would give the owners and Waggott a piece of my mind. He was not brought in to make do with what he has been dealt. When you look at the first goal today, you have to wonder how far we have sunk, when our previous keeper goes for peanuts to a team who were playing in the conference not that long ago. Today was embarrassing, but not as embarrassing as the shell of a club we now are and so far removed from the club that this famous town was once so proud of. Ruined by chancers and I see no way back anytime soon.
  22. That’s as poor a half as I’ve seen this season. Very insipid totally lacking in energy.
