  1. Probably, but they can foxtrot Oscar. The gloves are well and truly off.
  2. In his last 18 Matches, this manager has won ONE. Some outstanding candidate he is.
  3. Expect a heavy police/Steward presence. Stay safe, to all who go. I will be watching the match from Spain on Rovers TV but will be there in spirit and thinking of you all.
  4. I think the fans can do better than what the club seem to be planning. Lets get our own ideas together and show the footballing world once again, how special our club is. Poor owners or not, we are Blackburn Rovers.
  5. Hopefully, the proceeds of any fund will be sent to charity. I was made aware, by several people that you had stopped posting, due to a family holiday. I miss read a post you made. Enjoy your break and I am sure many look forward to your input, on your return.
  6. Absolutely fine with that. Before starting this thread, I did post in the Waggott out thread, that any suggestions for a local charity were welcome. Happy to suggest whoever the consensus want, so ideas like this are welcomed.
  7. That picture is a disgrace.
  8. Your Dad will have watched Simon Garner play and will no doubt tell you, what a real hero he was at the time. I named my son after him, and the special bit for me, is the fact that he was a working class lad on meagre wages at the time, but boy did he play his heart out. He genuinely loved the club too and for me, is my favourite ever Rovers player and I can't imagine anyone in the modern day game, making me feel that way again.
  9. Thanks, I may have miss interpreted the post Glen made and thought, he was saying he was not going to post, until he had discussed legals It appears he is away, so hopefully he will be resume posting, once he is back from his break. In the event of a fighting fund being required, let's get it done, as the worst case scenario, is the fund goes to charity. It does seem that Glen is being targeted and has had a call to that effect.
  10. I wasn’t aware of that he did say he was checking his position if Im not mistaken.
  11. I agree. It appears at the minute that the are simply threats, but as you will see from the post Glen made, he is checking his position and has stopped posting on here in the interim. In my view, the very fact that these threats exist, will create more adverse publicity, if this is highlighted on social media or in the mainstream press, as will a fighting fund, especially if any surplus, is then donated to a charity. It is a win, win, so far as I am concerned.
  12. As many will notice, Glen has now stopped posting on here, as it appears that he has come concerns about the club commencing legal action against him. As many will know on here, Glen did pen a blog about his past experiences surrounding his campaign against the regime, that existed at the time and may well still exist. For those who have not heard about it or read it, a link is below. http://roversrevisited.blogspot.com/ Despite some of the vitriol, he faced, he has still been brave enough to stand up yet again, about the current situation and it would be an awful shame, if he is bullied into stopping this, especially if the threats of legal action become a reality. I am proposing that the fan base rallies around this and perhaps, sets up a fund, just in case and in the event of the fund not being required, we donate the proceeds to a charity. There was an article on BBC this morning about a charity that Alan Shearer has set up, so maybe we can offer to donate the proceeds of the fund to this and perhaps contact his representatives to advise them of this, as that could well give us some extra exposure and highlight what is happening here. Please respond to this, with thoughts and ideas and if it looks viable, we can perhaps set this in motion. Please see below a link to the Alan Shearer foundation. https://www.alanshearerfoundation.org.uk/
  13. My view is that he has been forced out, into the open. We had the statement a few weeks ago from WATR which forced him into a meeting with them. Since then, people seem to have cottoned on to the likelihood that he is the decision maker in the UK.
  14. I do believe it has been accepted for a while now, that he is running the show and he is a dangerous individual. He is no longer in the shadows though and despite his desire to remain anonymous as he can, I do believe the net is closing in on him.
  15. Ashley insider (Ai) seems to know a fair amount.
  16. Oh dear. Sorry, if I have caused any confusion.
