No free kick was given - and just after this their player got injured. Could it be that the Ref thought the player was feigning injury to get a penalty - only later to find the actual extent of the injury ? Let's hope the Boro player makes a full recovery - it is never nice to see a player getting injured. From a Rovers perspective, it was good to see that it didn't affect Branthwaites game too much. He is obviously far from the finished article - but defensively we have looked better with him.

And yet a brilliant pass that led to the goal. Hopefully he will learn to mix it up a little rather than shooting all the time.

That pitch is awful - I would be curious as to what has gone wrong. However, it has looked ropey for a while surely TM should be adjusting our home playing style rather than waiting until the last 15 minutes.

Think you are being harsh with Davenport mark - thought he added some much needed energy. Nyambe was awful defensively- at fault for their goal and nearly gave away others. You should mark to pitch - 1 (only gets one for looking green) For me both Dack and Travis shouldn't have started.

Reading his rise from Carlisle youth to the Premiership - it reminds me of Jones meteoric rise at Rovers. Lets hope his improvement continues at Rovers - if it does both clubs will benefit.

As a squad player I think we have missed him - gotta say he is a better right back than Buckley.

Though I would like our youngsters coming through - we have to recognise that established clubs like Everton will be able to attract better youth talent than us. This lad cost them £750k (possibly more with add ons) has played Premiership football in an improving Everton side. If one of the better managers in Europe thinks he is good enough to play for them - there must be a reasonable chance he will be good enough for the Championship.

Bell is no great loss. Nyambe - thought I saw somewhere we had a 1 year option. Williams - been hit and miss. Getting Wharton fit will be more important.
