Carlos got backed in, looks like we won’t give him what he wants and he’ll go and get paid handsomely in the Middle East and now Big Dunc is sitting pretty at 10/11, I still think someone will come from out the blue and get the job, I’m gunna say it now, Big Dunc doesn’t get the job.

There’s no way he should be anywhere near the first team this season, and nor do I think he will be. He can be as quick as Usain Bolt if he wants but the kid is miles out of his depth at this level.

Jesus Christ Chadster don’t jump the gun. He’s had an interview and has possibly been offered the job. Lets not jinx it and say things like “Carlos Carvalhal’s Blue and White Army” till he’s pictured holding a Rovers shirt or scarf. We’ve been stung to many times in the last 12 years. I hope we get Carlos but I’m not counting my Venkys chickens yet.

Some people use the amount of clubs he’s managed against him, but he never really established himself or became a known name till he took that Sheff Wednesday job and since then as you’ve just put, his record has been decent.

You get the impression like when Mowbray got the job, it will be someone that comes out of nowhere that nobody was even mentioning for the job. Very worrying.

He’s very inconsistent. Not a bad player when he’s on it but Jesus when we won at Stoke this season he was the worst player on the pitch, every pass was to a yellow shirt. Worst individual performance I saw from an opposition player all season.

I think Nathan Byrne from Derby would be a decent enough replacement for Nyambe if he leaves. I’m pretty sure Byrne is out of contract.

To be fair Chaddy I’m not sure he’s someone we will go for but in terms of him saying he wants to stay at Wycombe I wouldn’t read anything into that, if we did decide we wanted to appoint him then he’d jump at the chance. He’s happy at Wycombe but do you honestly think he’d turn down a move here if we wanted him? Of course he wouldn’t. There’s zero chance that we’ll get Farke in my opinion so I’m hoping we give Carvalhal the job.
