Well the main point was putting the work in, Diaz runs himself into the ground up there and I don’t think that’s Joao’s game. Not that it matters as I don’t think he’d be a realistic signing.

Maybe I’m being pessimistic but I’m seriously surprised to see us as favourites with the bookies. We’re missing our main source of goals in Diaz and we’re coming up against a Boro side in great form who will be right up for it with a decent away following. Travis looks like he’ll play but will he be at 100%? Gally and Khadra will lead the line and Gally is going to have to massively up his game for us to have a chance of winning this one for me, we’ve also got literally nothing to bring off the bench to change the game. We’ve pulled off some great results this season but if we can win tomorrow it would be our best yet. Sticking 50 quid on Boro because I think they’ll do us if I’m honest and I think they’re a great price. If Rovers win I’ll be delighted to lose. Nailed on to be a draw now 😂 COYB

No club in the championship should be going anywhere near Dale Stephens. I have a lot of dingle mates and by all accounts his legs have gone. He was a good player years ago but not anymore and hasn’t been for a long time. Not good enough for even league one anymore. But I’ll take comfort in the fact that the last 122528047 transfer rumours on here have been bollocks. I hope this isn’t the time one is right 👍🏻

Our squad depth compared to the rest of the top six is dire. Our fully fit 11 is capable as we’ve seen but we really do need to add a couple more to strengthen the squad.

Edun wasn’t great first half at all but I thought in the second half he was our best player. Not that that’s saying much.

Crazy that Gallagher has got a new deal. Big unit of a guy who can’t win a header or hold the ball up and his first touch is gash. This is class. We’ve had nothing to moan about for months so the first opportunity some are taking 😂 Recoverite have messed up, could the club have been able to get a different sponsor sorted? Maybe. Was there people whinging when Totally Wicked were announced as our training kit sponsor? Not that I saw! We’re gunna have it on our shirts till the end of the season, it is what it is. It’s no worse than those clubs who have gambling sponsors. Are any kids going to look at our sponsor and want to start vaping? I highly doubt it.

He can only work with what he’s got Chaddy, he’s not been backed at all in his time there. You can’t expect a team with no pace or flair to play exciting football. He’s done miracles there, he’s a top top manager. Getting that Burnley side into Europe is a massive achievement. Keeping them up for the last however many seasons is a big enough achievement on its own with the budget he’s had and the players at his disposal. I obviously don’t like Burnley but I can’t help but respect the job Dyche has done there, he also spoke well of us in a radio interview I heard before on BBC Lancashire, he said he sees Rovers fans out and about and enjoys the interaction…. Regardless I hope they go down. If we don’t go up getting to play them next season will soften the blow.

Dack for me is more of an all action number 10. Can run at players and beat them, can set up goals and score goals from inside and outside the box. I’ve always seen Bannan as more of a midfield sitter dictating the play, he’s never scored many goals. Could Dack do that sitting role? Possibly but it wouldn’t be where he’s most effective.

For me personally Bannan and Dack are completely different players! Both very good like.

I wouldn’t be turning down Ronaldo if he wasn’t fully vaccinated. Nyambe is still here to play this weekend anyway so it’s not going to be an issue. We can add Nyambe “saying his goodbyes” at Brockhall to the long list of Rovers rumours that is a load of rubbish. Can’t remember the last time we had one that turned out to be genuine 😂

Charlie Taylor is excellent at left back I have to admit, he’s a player. Cornet isn’t staying there whether they stay up or go down, without him this season they really would be fooked.

The sort of Mowbray signing I’d expect really, young lad with a lot of talent who would be worth a lot more than 2 million if he develops into the player he could be.
