  1. Having a settled formation and a team that picks itself every week is what you want at this level. There was a time as a Rovers fan you never know who would be starting from one game to the next and as we know that didn’t lead to success on the pitch. The reason we are where we are now this season is down to having a settled team and formation and Tombola Tinker man Tony taking a back seat.
  2. JRC looked like he was going to be a player but those injuries seem to have massively effected his progress. I think he needs 90 minutes twice a week with the Under 23s and if he can get fully fit and back playing at a level he once showed he could be at then he can be back involved in a match day squad.
  3. There’s no f*****g way Nyambe should be on the bench for any game for the rest of this season if he’s fit. There are some fans who always leave him out when doing there lineups for games @chaddyrovers being one and Chaddy isn’t the only one, but it baffles me! He’s the best full back we have at the club, I don’t care if he might leave for nothing in the summer, once again tonight he showed nothing but commitment to this team playing in an unnatural position as well. Yes his final ball isn’t the best but he makes up for that by being solid as rock. Up the Rhino!
  4. Of course most of us had us finishing in the lower end of the table at the start of the season, we’re not and that is phenomenal as you say. But the players have raised our expectations now and have given us hope that we could finish in the top six of this league, the last few games have been concerning as we have offered very little going forward. It would be such a shame if we faded away now and that’s why some fans are frustrated. A win on Saturday would be huge for us and would hopefully get us back on track to achieve a “phenomenal” top six finish. You can’t have a go at some for having concerns, especially with the death spirals we’ve had in the past. February and Rovers are the worst combination since Barrymore and Pool parties.
  5. They were there for the taking tonight but as has been the story for us in recent games we lacked the attacking threat to take advantage. Saturday is now a huge game for us, we really need to start firing again up top, the defence for the first time in years is a solid enough unit, Scotty Wharton is a top player and even better that he’s one of our own. It’s not panic stations yet as luckily we’ve got ourselves in to a position where we could afford a run like this, a win Saturday will reignite the top six push and I’d be tempted to go to the 433 and really go at Millwall. Keep the faith lads.
  6. Yeah if they don’t go up it would be troublesome for them. But I think they will finish top two even with an unpopular Parker in charge.
  7. More than acceptable with it being Monday night on sky. Big props to those making the trip.
  8. Good results for us today. I don’t mind Bournemouth winning as I’ve said since deadline day they and Fulham will finish top two. Parker isn’t well liked down there but they, and Fulham of course have squads and players that will do the job regardless. Our focus should be on the top six and getting through the next 5 or 6 games (which on paper are horrendous) with as many points as possible. If we can somehow do something incredible in those games and be in touching distance of Bournemouth then we could have a sniff but I doubt it. Let’s just finish in the top six, I don’t care if we finish 3rd or 6th I’d snap your hand off for any of those right now.
  9. Oh absolutely. They’ll be paying him triple what we would have offered probably.
  10. In terms of Dembele, the Peterborough chairman himself said us Birmingham and Bournemouth all had bids accepted for 1.5 million.
  11. You’d drop Travis? To put it kindly I think you’re absolutely mental. 😂 he’s the bite in our midfield without him we’d fall apart, Hull looked like Brazil gliding through our midfield when Trav was missing.
  12. Magloire would weaken us defensively more than anyone at the club to be fair.
  13. Nyambe back in for Zeefuik will help. He’s definitely the better of the two from what I’ve seen. Ayala in for Darragh isn’t something that concerns me and I’d be tempted to start both Gally and Diaz up top and go a bit more direct. The quality of Giles’ deliveries are wasted without anyone on the end of them! A trip to the Hawthorns is nothing to fear. Buckley has been struggling recently, with the advanced role he plays in that midfield three I think Dack will be in that spot when he’s back fit. If the injuries haven’t taken to much of his ability away he will be a big boost for us.
  14. Speaking of coming back and biting you on the arse Merce nice to see you jinxed another Rovers win with your raging gambling problem. 😉 Win it back against the Baggies.
  15. Well February is never a good month for us we all know that. Luckily for us we’ve already got plenty of points on the board so hopefully once we get this month out the way we can finish the season strong and stay in the top six and go into the playoffs bang in form which is always crucial. Keep the faith for now ladies and gents 👍🏻
  16. Not the best preparation if he plans on being involved for tomorrows game. 😉
  17. Brilliant 😂😂 @Mercer the biggest troll on BRFCS. I used to bite regularly but now I just laugh. He’s the best at what he does. Never fails to reel in a big one!
  18. Disgusting that some of our fans have been messaging Rothwell’s partner abuse on instagram. Come on lads we are better than that.
  19. ££££££££ + probably a more realistic chance of getting up to the Prem. Isn’t that obvious? Still doesn’t change how disappointed us fans rightly are with the way he’s gone about it.
  20. You know what he means by “forcing a move” it’s a well known phrase in the game for someone who no longer wants to be at there current club and wants to move on. Why would we want to keep someone who doesn’t want to be here. Get as much as we can and bring a couple in. We will be worse off without Rothwells drive in midfield 100% but if he doesn’t want to be here Fuck him. Can’t wait for Travis to crunch him on the 30th of April when we beat Rothwells Bournemouth.
  21. Probably one of the best interviews Tony has done in his time here that one. Worlds apart from the miserable shit from last season. I’m glad he seems to have got a bit of fire back in his belly this season. And the fact he says Rothwell won’t go unless other deals are sorted makes me feel a bit better about the situation I don’t understand Rothwells thinking though, he can leave for free in 6 months and being a free agent he’d be able to get a bigger signing on fee for himself. Why not just see the season out in a team that’s fighting for promotion then if we don’t go up you can move on to pastures new. Disappointed in Joe. No loyalty in modern day football that’s for sure.
  22. Sending love and best wishes to your dad and all your family Davey. Glad he’s on the mend.👍🏻
  23. Every cameo I’ve seen of him this season he looks knackered within 10 minutes of coming on! Something not quite right with him.
  24. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Can’t believe I doubted us. This is a special group of lads that’s for sure. Delighted for Gally, we needed him to set up tonight and he did. Biggest win of the season by far. You fucking blues come on!
