  1. You talk about fans having a lack of ambition regarding our first two summer signings and some fans acceptance that realistically we won't be spending much money this summer. You expect us to be forking out money for a load of new signings, if Venkys were too give Mowbray the green light to go out and spend a load of cash which in-turn would suit your 'ambition' you'd then expect the man who assembled the squad using Money we don't even have too be sacked after 10 games of a 46 game season if we aren't in the top two? Ridiculous mate and you're just contradicting yourself. Smallwood is an okay signing and so is Whittingham. It does come across sometimes you do have an agenda against Mowbray like the good old Chadster has referred too. So no matter who Mowbray brings in you'll moan and call for his head at the first opportunity. You just said on the transfers thread fans with such little ambition should consider 'walking away', well some fans may say someone who can't even give a manager 10 games of a 46 season should consider 'walking away'
  2. DW: "we will now make the right decisions in the next two games to keep everybody fresh for the Play-Offs. Today we celebrate" #htafc (DTS).... I take my post back, that's a direct quote from Huddersfields manager. Clearly playing the reserves Saturday. If he does then I hope they get battered in the play offs. Selfish man not considering us when saying that!
  3. They were pretty much guaranteed a play off spot anyway. You see it a lot that the teams who do well in the play offs year after year aren't the ones who've been in there all season it's the ones who go into them in the best end of season form which is why I fancy Fulham this season. Huddersfield will be wanting to win there last two going into the play offs, so I don't think the view that with a play off place tied up they won't be up for it at St Andrews on Saturday. It will be a tough game for Birmingham, I'm a lot more worried about us beating Villa than I am Huddersfield letting us down at Birmingham.
  4. Slightly unfair to label him a poor manager if you're looking at what he's done here alone. His record here over the full season would have put us mid-table. When you look at how utterly shocking our squad is he's done well enough too have us still in touch with 3 games to go. Whether we stay up or not, I certainly won't hold any ill feeling towards Mowbray and if he moves on at the end of the season I wish him all the best. As someone said, he's far too good a man to be working for our owners.
  5. Redknapp is one of the most over-rated managers about. That might be a tad harsh but my thoughts on him are worsened by the fact I can't stand him and I think he's a pr@t. Would love too see Birmingham go down now!
  6. What will change if we stay up Chaddy? The clubs got no hope whether we stay up or go down how can you not see that? Of course I want us too stay up but either way, we're up s**t creek.
  7. One positive is that he'll be wearing a suit on matchdays rather than the horrific shorts and socks of Coyle. Yep, that's what it's come too lads.
  8. Can we read anything into the fact he's been given the role "Head Coach"? Does this really mean Senior's DOF type role has a bit of substance to it? Christ, I really am sick to frigging death of this football club. If Mowbray can keep us up then fair play too the guy but whether we stay up or not in reality, the club is fooked
  9. This topic has posted two other times can you delete the other two mods please. On Mowbray with Lowe as his assistant and Dunny as first team coach this is clearly the cheapest possible option, and we will pay the price for it. Uninspring appointment to say the least but I expected nothing less from our owners, already preparing for league one we are by the looks of things.

  12. Here's one for you lads, if Stanley were to make it too the play off final do you think you would go down to Wembley? I imagine a few rovers and Burnley fans would go down to support the Stanley, if a few of my mates were up for going down I'd definitely go.
  13. I've always been more of a Ronaldo guy than Messi but the fact Messi was one goal away from 300 La Liga goals when he had that penalty just shows what a guy he is, he's a team player and he's an absolute genius. That front three is just absolutely unstoppable, Messi Neymar Suarez over Ronaldo Benzema and Bale any day of the week! 🔥🔥
  14. I sit in the Riverside bang on the half way line and can hear and see the Darwen end make a lot of noise throughout the game but at times it is actually hard to hear them as there isn't exactly a large amount of them and regarding the Blackburn End these days there is simply not a lot of noise that comes out of there. The loudest our crowd is at home these days is fans booing when they don't even need too boo. Actually has a go at a guy the other day for booing at literally everything he could
  15. You're gunna have a riot on your hands?
  16. The Darwen end lot seem to sing a variety of songs but it's hard to actually here them. And when the BBE make a noise it's usually Barmy Army. Makes the atmosphere at home awful how the BBE and Darwen end never actually sing in unison.
  17. Bjornebye in my gang my gang my gang...
  18. The main chants of the last couple of years have been "We want our rovers back" "Kean out" "We want Venkys out" Glad we haven't heard them in a while though!
  19. Didn't necessarily mean it would be rocking because of avoiding relegation etc.. More that it's the last home game of the season, cheap tickets.. It should hopefully be one of the better crowds of the season.. Maybe rocking was the wrong word too use.
  20. Ha ha! I think I'm still in shock in actually expecting Ewood to be rocking at all
  21. We have not come from behind and won many games this season at all. Well done boys tonight, sounded like they worked really hard for it second half.. Hopefully Ewood will be rocking on Saturday and we can try and get back to back victories for the second time in a month. COYB!
  22. Anybody watching this game online at all? Having to listen to it on 5live. Steve Claridge does my head in!
