  1. There squad needs an absolute full rebuild, tough job for Coleman and whether he's good enough to do that job, time will tell. Worrying times for the Mackems.
  2. Obviously nobody wants too lose Dack Chaddy, but every player has their price it's how the world works mate. Bit of a crazy comment even for you pal.
  3. I've been saying all season Bolton's squad is nowhere near good enough to stay up and I've had too keep quiet for a while as they looked safe at one point. I'll be piping up in this thread if they do go down wouldn't mind playing them next season though and I'd prefer it too be in the championship too be fair
  4. League 1 is way above Jason Lowe's level.
  5. He actually started the season well and scored a couple. His form has declined massively but adding his name into this thread? Really? The lad has been on the bench for weeks and is clearly low on confidence he doesn't need us lot turning on him. I'll admit I've not been impressed but it would be harsh to write him off completely yet, I'm not going to hold that missed chance against him today as it was the finish of a guy who is low on confidence and who has not been playing as much recently. He's still young enough to come good and he's shown glimpses of ability albeit only glimpses. Him and Nuttall could both do with being loaned out next season for me. Worst ever rovers player though? Jesus Christ that's well harsh
  6. Yeah I was saying how I'd want us too line up in Russia, balls to Southgate and 3 at the back. Not sure how you can suggest Cahill and Smalling when one has missed a lot of games this season for Chelsea and the other has been slated all season by united fans. I like Stones but he's not been consistently in the City team this season, Pep rotates his defence about a lot too be fair though. Too long the England side has been picked off whether you play for a top 4 team or not, it's about time we started those who have performed well for their club and have earned a shirt.
  7. My starting line up for Russia if everyone's fit: Pope, Walker, Maguire, Stones, Bertrand/Rose at the back. I think Pope has clearly done better than Hart this season that is without question, and Butland and Pickford have made way more mistakes. We've got to build for the future like Ze Germans did in 2006. They won the World Cup in 2010 and although he's a dingle I think that he deserves a chance, it's about time England teams were picked on player rather than the club they play for. Midfield I'd have Dier and Wilshere holding. Dier is a no brainer and for me although he probably won't be fit on his day you'd have Wilshere over Henderson or Livermore all day. Henderson is a fraud. 3 behind the striker Sterling Alli and Rashford. Speaks for itself really. Kane up top. Say no more. Just like us, the mighty 4-2-3- 1 Chaddy loves too hate. As with any tournament I have zero faith in England but that would be my lineup. Interested to see how others on here would line us up in Russia.

I'm to young to have watched bullseye when it was first on, but I've spent many a night watching the re-runs on Challenge. He was funny on Phoenix nights as well. RIP, you can't beat a bit of Bully!
  9. The Birmingham City board is prepared for a substantial increase in losses on the Hong Kong stock exchange following Harry Redknapp's spending spree as manager in summer 2017. (Birmingham Live) Just saw this on the BBC gossip column, and if ever there was a sentence to sum up Dodgy Arry this would be up there This video can never be forgotten either.. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xJBsI7RAuvk
  10. I was only joking mate calm down I watched the game tonight, Bristol City didn't turn up and our former man Andy Cryer seemed to think it was their worst performance of the season. Looked all over a 0-0 but fair play to Bolton they worked hard and nicked a goal, I still don't think there's anywhere near enough quality in that side to stay up for certain. They've sold their main man and I think that will ultimately cost them in the end. We'll see come May anyway and I'll eat my words if they stay up
  11. "With Gary Madine gone, the spotlight falls on others to get the goals" Presenter on sky says those words as the camera pans to David Wheater of all players Noblot going downnnnn
  12. The sound quality is poor on this video but this is the only goal music that I'd advocate. I watched a Feyenoord game a couple of years ago when I was in Rotterdam for the weekend with my ex Mrs and the 30 odd thousand singing a long to this sounded amazing at the time. Not sure it would go down well at Ewood though
  13. I have no doubt that had this guy stayed injury-free throughout his career he would be playing top flight football. What a captain. What a man. What a player. I am genuinely in love with this man.
  14. You said the same about every player we signed in the summer JAL. If we signed Messi you'd still say he isn't good enough for us you big dingle. I know you only come on here to wind people up and I should know better than to respond but I cant help myself sometimes .. Good luck away at Palace this weekend pal
  15. Olsson scored that game but it was ruled out for offside. He was clearly onside, Would that not have stood with the VAR? BUT we've also got Dunny's last minute offside equaliser which is the most I've ever celebrated a goal at Ewood. F**k the VAR!!
  16. I would never post someone's personal issues on here player or poster. But I know the extent of Tomlinson's personal issues and I'm glad he's sorted them out. Being a rovers supporting dingle and a couple of years older than him I've been at parties with him as a kid and also seen him out down town a few times, I'm not mates with him but I know him well enough too say hello when I see him. He's a good lad and nothing like your stereotypical modern day footballer, he won the English schools cup on his own for his high school and it's been clear from a young age he had ability, I hope he can now reach his full potential and if he does it here and not at Burnley even better!
  17. Blackburn Rovers Football Club should not be in league one, that much is clear. Our away followings this season are probably bigger than most of the leagues away followings combined, but maybe this is what we needed after 7 years of utter shite, I know it's league one but Jesus I'm not half enjoying going to away games and watching us win games of football, there's a real good feeling at the minute, maybe a promotion season is just what the doctor ordered because I feel a lot better right now than I did at this point last season under Coyle and we were a league above! Of course we wouldn't be in this league if we didn't have the owners we do and that should not be forgotten but we do have these owners, and although I'll always despise them this is the first time I've actually been able to enjoy watching rovers since they took over which helps to temporality at least, forget the damage they've caused our club. Enjoy this season lads and WHEN we get promoted, hopefully Mowbray gets backed and we can have a go next season in the championship. I love this club and our fans and league one or not, we should be able to enjoy winning games and going too games. We'll all still be here long after Venkys fook off. Not sure what point I was making here I've been on the beers but whatever, COYB Big fish in a small pond this season.
  18. Yeah we have 15k worth of supporters not attending because we have signed loan players Crazy JAL is back
  19. Referring to the fact Rhodes turned down a penalty in the penalty shootout in the Semi's against Huddersfield. I wouldn't call it cowardice but a big telling point the lad has been and still is massively lacking in confidence after it not working out at Boro, I do fully believe if he goes somewhere and is the main man he will start scoring again. I hope he does that too, said it before despite his limations his goals single handedly kept us up and then nearly got us into the play-offs. Top professional and a nice lad also.
  20. He was picked over the likes of Lee Williamson and Hope Akpan, both very average players who I'd still had rather had in the team than Lowe. We've had a few arguably unworthy scapegoats over the years but Jason Lowe really is an absolutely terrible footballer.
  21. Our right back options are no worse than Lowe which is saying something. Smallwood and evans are also miles better in the centre. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Jason Lowe wouldn't stand out playing for a conference level side. Absolute fraud of a footballer. No disrespect to him as he seems like a nice lad but he's a terrible footballer.
