  1. Interesting read, there was one comment from a Barnsley fan stating something a long the lines of it was like playing with 10 men for the middle part of the season when Kent lost form. Big questions over his attitude and application. I'd much rather us bring Chapman back on loan with a view too a perm than go for Kent. When you've not got much to spend the least you want is application and desire when you can't afford pure quality, this kid sounds like he's got issues.
  2. If McGoldrick can stay fit he will be a great signing for Sheff U. One of the most technically gifted players in this league, his injury record is atrocious though so a big gamble for them.
  3. Or Venkys gave him the answers they thought he wanted to hear and took advantage of Mowbray being such a genuine nice guy. Get him out of India and back to England and then we can turn the tap off again. I hope our next signing is a good one, if like you say it's David bloody Cotterill we are fooked.
  4. Imagine starting a league game with Conway on one wing and Cotterill on the other. Jesus god the thought of that makes me sick. I love Conway he's been a great servant but if you're going too start him you need someone with pace on the opposite flank. David cotterill would be an awful signing. Truly hope we aren't looking at him. Wouldn't be keen on any on that list except Bauer. Holmes did well last season but I can't see where he'd fit in to our side.
  5. Absolutely. There squad is shaping up nicely. No reason why they won't be challenging for the play offs.
  6. Jesus I remember going to everton away one year, all they sold was Chang beer and it was absolutely rats. They'd ran out of beer by half time but I wasn't overly fussed. Awful beer
  7. Hahaha I follow Chaddy on twitter so can't help seeing what he posts so I wouldn't call myself a stalker. I only sit in his back garden twice a week these days compared to five days a week.
  8. If you're tweeting accounts like this hoping for a scoop Chaddy then it really is desperate times for us Rovers fans at the minute... ITK my arse come on Chadster don't get too silly.
  9. Isn't is nice when we say good things about each other. We're moving in the right direction on here hopefully we get some singings over the line soon or this new found love for each other might go back to the usual squalor
  10. I hope Chapman is a loan deal with a view too a perm. Just to be on the safe side after his injuries last season.
  11. Definitely all the Dingles voting for that. I'm sure most rovers fans would want rid of it. I've always hated goal music personally. EDIT: Just checked Twitter and we're looking good.
  12. He wouldn't look out of place in a pub league the shape he's in. Certainly wouldn't look out of place in a pub. Get rid asap. Waste of a wage as there's no chance he'll be playing championship football ever again in his career.
  13. I really hope Mowbrays honesty and integrity as a person hasn't been used against him by our Scumbag owners. I hope the truth is that he's being patient and there is money left to spend. If not then it's same old. Let's see what happens...
  14. Spot on. No rovers fan I know would abuse one of our own players BEFORE a game. Never mind a pre season friendly against Port Vale. Multiple people witnessed the incident and in turn posted on social media about it. It happened, Evans was out of line massively. And to show such a lack of disrespect and lack of professionalism he should face some sort of disciplinary action. As I've said, you can count the amount of good game he's had since he's been here on one hand. That's when he's not injured. Yet our fans have still always backed him. You can't defend him BDS so for once just admit something negative has happened at our club.
  15. It was before the game so it's highly unlikely he'd have got any abuse before the game. Why do you insist on shooting down the slightest negative thing every time? It can't be rosy all the time Big Dog. Evans was bang out of order and I'd expect a big apology before I'd be supporting him down at Ewood this season.
  16. Well let's get it tied up before the end of this week because after they've seen too much of Ward in training they'll be doing everything they can to keep hold of Bauer
  17. As I said last night, wouldn't be totally against him coming back here on loan but ideally we get someone else in on a permenant basis. We definitely need to bring 2 forwards in before kick off. Samuel should only be a bit part player this season and Nuttall should be loaned out. I hope TM didn't return from India expecting more to spend than what he's now been told he has to spend.. Wouldn't be the first time our owners have done something like this. Promised Lambert the World when he took the job then when he realised it was bullshit he was gone..
  18. Too be fair I'd say his pace was decent enough, it's his lack of strength and ability to hold the ball up that lets him down for me. If we wanted a big target man big Matt Smith would be ideal, always rated him for his work rate alone. Without being the most gifted of players he's a huge guy and scored 11 league goals in the league last season for QPR. I'd be tempting him with a move back up North.
  19. Just ignore the rest of my post then no worries pal
  20. It's all good having a new scouting system but if you can't get the green light from above to sign them or if you can't afford the players you find it's pointless. If we're now being linked with a player we had before is that not just a bit worrying to you chadster? Gallagher is on big wages and even if we only payed 50% of his wages 12 grand a week is a lot of money for him. I think he's okay as a squad player but 12k a week is a touch too much for that. Gallagher and Graham were our main strikers when we got relegated as well so that in itself is a worry. Wouldn't be totally against him coming back but I wouldn't be overjoyed if he did. On the fence with this one.. EDIT: Just seen its come from Nixon, probably bullshit anyway. He said we weren't signing Davenport then once he heard we were he backtracked. He knows nothing about Rovers these days Chaddy stop hanging on his every word it doesn't look good mate.
  21. When the pre season pictures of the lads in austria came out Caddis looked seriously overweight and in terrible shape. He's never been the most athletic looking but I was shocked when I saw the photos. Can't see him featuring at all this season.
  22. From what I've read it was a genuinely grumpy remark. I wasn't there so can only go off what I've seen fans say on Twitter. There was a tweet from a rovers fan who was there saying evans is the most ignorant footballer he's ever met. He's representing our club so even if he was joking, to make that sort of remark and swear in front of your own fans is unprofessional. He needs a telling off. You can count on one hand the amount of good performances evans has had since he's been here, yet we've always got behind him despite his inconsistencies and injury record. If he doesn't apologise then he can get fooked
  23. Bumped into some fans today at a service station and while other players said hello he was heard saying something on the lines of "why do we always bump into fucking fans". This is just a select few tweets from a couple of fans on Twitter. No need for such disrespect from Evans. He divides opinion but the fans have always got behind him. When I was growing up if I was 9 years old and would have heard Friedel say something like that I'd have cried my eyes out
  24. If that's true what Corey Evans said then he can f**k right off the crock.
