Have you not heard? We've got cash to burn now. 1 million on a back up keeper is spare change...Announce 10 million pound striker!
-
Well I'm working till 10 tonight so fingers crossed when I get chance to come on here I'll see good news and not a post from a Chaddy with two minutes till the deadline saying something along the lines of there's still time trust Mowbray
-
I'm going to say 0m followed by absolute meltdown on this message board hopefully not though.
-
Offer 4 million plus Corry evans for both Luke Freeman and Matt Smith. Great deal
-
Freeman, a striker and possibly a centre half tomorrow and we are looking good. Let's hope we don't get excited for nothing..
-
He's also an absolute bell in real life. He should stick to the mobile phone adverts..
-
He's an attacking mid who can play anywhere behind the front man. Him dack and Palmer behind Graham would be naughty.
-
Interesting, why not make it 5 million and get big matt smith in from them as well If we spend 4 million on one player I think I'll have a heart attack.
-
Not too hard to grasp mate..
-
PNE get Brandon barker on loan.. Would have taken him here definitely. Good signing for them.
-
And after spotting said player you text your mate during the game to let him know about tonight's great spot. Binoclaurs are a must on away days, at Wigan away last season I spotted Waggott and Suhail smash a mixed kebab each in the directors box quicker than Usain Bolt in Beijing.
-
But you said you'd "seen some stuff on Twitter" fair enough then pal.. Got to give your imaginary mate a lot of credit, that is a great spot. We should sign him to play in centre midfield with vision like that.
-
You mean you saw Nixon tweet that Nmecha was sat in the Villa side of the Directors box. I doubt your "villa supporting mate" would be able to identify a player in the directors box all the way from the away end
-
Was just suggesting them as I don't think they'll be playing much under big Frank this season! I'd rather Martin over Jerome also, his all round game is a lot better and more suited to the lone striker role. I think if we were going to get Chapman we'd have got him by now, think the only way we'd bring him back is if we missed out on a different target such as Maddison. Hopefully Mowbray's plan A comes off and we're not having to settle for plan D.
-
Loan deal for one of Cameron Jerome or Chris Martin from Derby, and George Thorne or Jacob Butterfield for centre mid if we can't get McGinn in. Double loan swoop or a buy and a loan. You'd definitely take two out of any of them four. Chapman/Maddison and Bauer too and we'll be looking tasty...
-
That's a lot of championship talent missing out Jesus!! I'd much rather us go for Martin or Jerome on loan than bring Gallagher back. If we are persistent in trying for McGinn and it proves futile, George Thorne or Jacob Butterfield would be an upgrade on Evans/Smallwood. If we let Tomlinson out on loan and somehow get rid of Evans and Whittingham, bringing one of McGinn/Thorne/Butterfield in would be unreal... Just looked and Huddlestone is only 31! Thought he was older than that, think he'll be playing for them this season though where as I don't think Butterfield and Thorne will be as much as they'd like. Interesting..
-
That Hull starting line up is as poor as any in this league. Fancy us to go there and do them in two weeks. Desperate times when they are getting David Batty out of retirement, we should have considered something similar. He'd do more than Evans does.
-
Yeah, I meant to post that in the Armstrong thread

Jesus Christ.
-
The good side to this is they might accept a lesser offer now knowing he wants to leave. The down side is do we want a player coming here who has basically come out on social media and said he wants a move? Weird one.
-
He deserves a properly well run club now. Seen someone on twitter saying he was paying out of his own pocket to use the training ground, whether that's rubbish or not I'm unsure. He's not a bad guy GB, good luck to him.
-
Nuttall is nowhere near good enough I agree on that 100%. Calling him a wanker is a bit harsh though JAL Jesus Christ. I regret having a go at you the other day, I'd had a few beers and after Stuart posted saying you were an elderly gent I felt bad. Respect your elders as they say, even if the elder in question is an absolute wind up merchant. You've got a few issues but the day you're up for stepping back in Ewood again I'll happily take you along with me. #VenkysOut #UpTheJAL

Peterborough definitely know how to breed an attacking player.. Tomlin, Assambalonga, Dwight Gayle,Jon Taylor, Marriott,Edwards and Maddison to name a few in recent years! Remember when Gayle scored a first half hat trick at Ewood in a Murphy and Orr horror show? We should have known then to sign him!
-
He bagged when they beat us 3-1 at Ewood last season, not a bad shout that too be fair. Interesting week coming up regardless.
-
He'd be well placed to deflect in all Evans' wayward shots
