  1. Peterborough definitely know how to breed an attacking player.. Tomlin, Assambalonga, Dwight Gayle,Jon Taylor, Marriott,Edwards and Maddison to name a few in recent years! Remember when Gayle scored a first half hat trick at Ewood in a Murphy and Orr horror show? We should have known then to sign him!
  2. He bagged when they beat us 3-1 at Ewood last season, not a bad shout that too be fair. Interesting week coming up regardless.
  3. He'd be well placed to deflect in all Evans' wayward shots
  4. I'm not saying he would come, I'm just saying if I could have any big lump in the league here, I'd have that big bastard.
  5. Nuihu from Sheff Wednesday would be ideal, he starts for them and I think he bagged yesterday. Biggest lump in the league that guy he's huge.
  6. I can't see Roberts coming here, he's got admirers in the prem. I really rate him I'd love him here but can't see it. Don't know anything about Nmecha to comment other than he's highly thought of at City. On evans I'd be delighted if someone took him off our hands, if we replaced him with Mcginn that would be unreal business.
  7. Offer them a million plus Evans. He'd do a job in the Scottish league, maybe
  8. Think we'd have taken a point before the game, I certainly would have. A shame to lose all three so late but that's football sometimes you raggy gits! Could be worse and you could be a Macclesfield fan today, 2-1 up with 90 minutes played only to lose 3-2 courtesy of 2 penalties in added time. Absolute madness. I'm glad I've got my Saturdays back and I'm sure you are too. With us two being two of the lesser financed clubs in the league it would be nice too see one of us over exceed expectations so all the best for the rest of the season, except when you come to Ewood
  9. Lads got ability but question marks on his atittude seemingly. Saying that though the few games I watched Wednesday on sky last season he ran himself into the ground and looked as much of a team player as anyone. I'd take him back over Gallagher if I had the choice definitely.
  10. Andy Todd. Hardest man in football. Would not F**k with that guy.
  11. I tell you what Ally Mccoist was brilliant on co commentary during the World Cup, would love to hear him more on Football league games. Pure passion for the game. So much better than the boring Murphy, Phil Neville, kilbane keown and lawrenson of the BBC. They all need the chop.
  12. Scored a good goal away at Wigan I think. Doesn't change the fact he's not good enough and looking back throughout his time here, has he ever really been good enough? He's had the odd good game but it's not enough. I'd be starting Bennett in there with Smallwood. Hopefully davenport and travis can stake a claim too.
  13. Rothwell played on the left behind the striker in a few pre season games so he's probably the only other option. We need to get Armstrong and Chapman/Maddison done before the Millwall game.
  14. Williams is hardly controversial as even when Bell signed he didn't take Williams' place in the team. We haven't signed any other left backs so nothing's changed there. No matter what you think of him Williams has been a regular starter into 3 seasons now so he's not a controversial pick at all. Samuel on the wing on the other hand? Hopefully never again. He should have been on the bench to come on instead of Nuttall today.
  15. I'd have taken a point before the game but disappointing to lose all three so late. The fact we are bringing Nuttall on when he's nowhere near ready for championship football is a concern but once Armstrong signs I'm hoping we will loan Nuttall out. Not a bad start at all, platform to build on.
  16. You're asking me if I'm a Rovers fan when you're quite clearly a dingle on a wind up? Roll on half 5 today when you're slagging Nyambe off after we get beat at Ipswich. I hope we win because you only seem to show your face on here when we get beat, ripping into our players when you don't even watch the games. You're a joke mate, if you are a dingle which is my thought then fair play you've got another bite. But if you're actually a Rovers fan and you mean what you say then you need help my friend. Stay strong and cheer them on today
  17. You tell me JAL? You were the one saying we should bring him back a couple of months ago. Just seen you post that you doubt the owners would bring Kalinic back. Yeah no shit, no championship club would be able too afford him! What is wrong with you man? Please go back to Clarets Mad, you're a sad dingle wind up merchant and I can't be bothered seeing your rubbish on here anymore it's getting boring now
  18. If you can't give yourself a bit of credit sometimes then who can
  19. I posted in here a few hours ago calling him a tw@t. I'm glad others have joined the bandwagon... Lynch him! ... Happy Armstrong is coming back, needs to prove himself at this level but we've seen how good of a finisher he is. Feed him and he will score.
  20. 1-0 at home to Everton with Kalinic scoring. I can't remember the game either
  21. Stoke closing in on Ashley Williams on loan, bar last seasons shambles of a season at Everton he's a class signing at championship level. I see nobody has taken Snodgrass yet , I forgot West Ham are his parent club, spent last season on loan at Villa. I'd take him on loan but I guess West Ham would have to pay a LOT of his wages. Plus, we're crying out for pace on the wings and he doesn't bring that. He'd just be Conway on steroids.
  22. That was my thinking, he wouldn't fit into our side anyway. We won't end up signing him.
  23. Why the F do people still tweet that Jamie Mcconell guy on twitter as if he knows anything? He knows as much as the rest of us. What a tw@t.
