  1. Get off the high horse and give it a rest, I said Smallwood was a solid signing when we bought him but I wouldn't blame people for being skeptical or overly negative, those quotes you went back and quoted were from posters in the middle of June, who were more than likely still majorly annoyed we'd been relegated and had managed to reach a new low under the Venkys. Football fans are fickle and when we are proven wrong we'll admit it, we don't need you digging stuff out to make yourself feel better Chaddy.
  2. I agree with all of this, I've watched it since the get go and as much as I love it, as the show has grown in popularity and the the shows budget has gone crazy the show is a completely different show to what it once was. Even the dialogue between characters has suffered, apparently George R.R Martin has distanced himself from the show now and I think without his guidance the writing has suffered incredibly. Still love the show, having too wait 2 years for the next series is going too kill me.
  3. Can't imagine that many None season ticket holders will be in the 1875 but I might be wrong. If we somehow win this weekend hopefully that can help get a few more numbers on.
  4. Think 18 quid for season ticket holders is pretty reasonable too be fair, should have made it 18 for none season ticket holders too mind.
  5. West Ham vs Cheltenham selected for TV on the Wednesday. Sky sports are a joke man. I was attending anyway but I hope the club don't charge stupid prices, they've got an opportunity to get a lot on now if they make the prices reasonable.
  6. The Venkys disease: It takes a long while too kill you, those with the diesease are known too suffer with symptoms for years such as Relegation too the third tier of football, taking advice from crooks due to the confused state of mind the disease brings on, paying millions on agent fees because Fabio Nunes is the next ronaldo, emptying football stadiums of life and people, appointing your biggest rivals ex manager, appointing an okay manager and promising him money only too break said promise and said manager to walk, not knowing relegation was a thing due to already referenced confused state of mind and forcing a man already struggling a bit with his weight too stuff his face with chicken on camera. Some sufferers have also stated they've encountered symptoms such as attracting snowballs too the face. The disease is said too not really effect ones self but too efffect all those around you.. The disease ultimately leads too death, whether that "death"can be recovered from by whoever is left too pick up the pieces still remains too be seen. #VenkysOut
  7. I echo your sentiments entirely, but how many times in the last 7 years has a thread exactly like this been started and they're still here. What will it honestly take for them too just f**k off seriously? Admin? Liquidation? I've said many of times I'd take either of those if it meant them leaving. I thought relegation too league one might have speeded up either of those processes yet they go out this summer and actually spend a bit of money? Mind boggling. Just leave you fooking crooks.
  8. Long ball Burnleh. They've got 3 big lumps in Walters Vokes and Barnes and Wood is of that big lump mould. You'd have thought they'd be looking to add someone with a bit of pace. Relegation fodder those dingles this season.
  9. Yeah, we did the double over them in the 09/10 season and haven't beat them since. Closest we've got since was when Rhodes scored to put us 1 up and they equalised in the last couple of minutes at the turf. Manager that day was Henning Berg!
  10. No replays Shaun. A 120th minute Mulgrew free kick is what the doctor is ordering. I think at most we'll shift maybe 13-16k home tickets? Does that sound about right?
  11. Come on lads, we're playing our bitter rivals and you're not even remotely excited about it? We've got absolutely nothing to lose and all the pressure is on them, you can't beat a derby day atmosphere as well. A league one side knocking a prem team out in the early rounds of the league cup is hardly unheard of. We give united a real game at ewood in the FA cup last season and they put a strong side out, anything can happen in a cup tie and anything can happen in a derby game as big as this. All the pressure is on them so it's perfect for us. Just enjoy it man!
  12. Just because Burnley are playing on Sunday doesn't mean our game will be moved, you've seen it many times teams have an extra days rest in these circumstances. That's something to give us a bit of hope at least, please don't make the ticket prices stupid Rovers. £15 pound for adults at most, need as many in the ground as possible because that lot will probably be getting the full darwen end.
  13. Burnleys second string played absolutely shocking and got beat away at accy in the league cup last season. We've got a chance of that I have no doubt. BRING IT ON. I WOULD LOVE IT IF WE BEAT THEM LOVE IT
  14. We're not going to win the thing so what's the point in wanting an easier draw? A prem club either at home or away would be decent, wouldn't mind a Tuesday night beer up in Newcastle!
  15. Don't compare him to that soft fairy Stones. Mulgrew is far superior I agree though, if we could accommodate him into midfield he'd be class in there. I think he would play the deep lying role Whittingham is being played in better than Whittingham himself. Better left foot as well, just about
  16. Anyone else have the only 0-0 in the cup on there Both teams to score bet tonight? Cardiff also were the only team to let my teams to win bet down for 200 quid. NIGHTMARE
  17. Nice to hear Smallwood was outstanding tonight. First time in many a year one of our centre mids was the best player on the pitch! Good result now too take it into Saturday against Donny.
  18. This night out was yesterday so I presume he stayed in Essex or wherever he's from after the game on Saturday and has gone out the night after. Not uncommon for players too do that, I remember seeing Jay Rodriguez out in Burnley on the same day his Southampton side had played away and lost at someone up this neck of the woods. I don't agree with what him doing that but it honestly isn't uncommon, not going too write the kid off because we need him to deliver this season and I believe that he can. Up the Dack.
  19. Of course the going out on a Sunday shows him in a bad light, you don't know whether he was drinking or not but you'd probably be right to presume he was. Not good the day after an opening day defeat. Can't really use his twitter being hacked against him though, think we've all been there when we've been young and split up with a girl and you say stupid stuff because as a young lad it does feel like the end of the world! Hope he gets his head screwed on and focuses on his football because he's obviously got a lot of talent. It would be harsh too say he's filled the void of Stokes. Stokes is a pr@t and is a lot older than Dack and should know better. We need this kid to get his head right this season because we are going too need him that's for sure.
  20. As if someone has gone through his twitter too find a tweet from 6 years ago hopefully at the end of this season he'll be tweeting about us going up!
  21. We've been guilty in the recent past of handing out bumper contracts to players not worthy of them, two year deals for Smallwood and Whittingham isn't excessive too me. If you want too bring half decent players in a 2 year deal is pretty standard. I doubt either of those two would have signed one year deals. You've also stated you expect better than those two signings and you won't get much better players if you're only offering one year contracts out.
  22. I must add it's a shame we'll never get too see Smallwood assisting Goodwillie for a goal.
