  1. What a sorry state of affairs. We're utterly dependent on the rats that have destroyed our club and with Mowbray at the helm and only academy players to develop we're not getting promoted anytime soon.
  2. This is all so predictable. Can't believe I let myself be fooled into thinking we could make the play offs. Since Mowbray has been here we haven't occupied the play offs places for a single second and that should be telling enough. Sadly for us he now has the Dack injury to hide behind when in reality he'd have never got us there anyway.
  3. I can't remember a more absolutely nailed on dour 1-1, in all my life. After the game will be Tony's 1st of 478 times this season where he'll mention that any team would struggle without Dack's creativity.
  4. I suspect "do you remember when we were one point off the play offs and had Bradley Dack in the team" will be a well worn phrase within a matter of weeks.
  5. No idea how that finished 0-0. Not good enough tonight but one point closer to the play offs, all places up for grabs for the Brum game. Thought Wigan were decent, much better than their league position suggests and can see how they got a point at West Brom.
  6. Getting impatient for this now. We can't be in the play offs with how other results have gone but we can be on equal points with 6th. With games against Birmingham and Huddersfield to follow that's about as good as we could've hoped for at this time of the season. Can't actually believe we're in this position given where we were 8 weeks ago. I wonder when the wheels will fall off? ? Or do we think Mowbray has actually learnt from his past mistakes..
  7. He's loyal to a fault. I just hope this year it doesn't bite him/us on the arse as we're a couple of buys off making a real go at the play offs.
  8. I believe this is the ultimate test of how far we've come. Since Mowbray took over this has absolutely been a game we will labour in and ultimately draw or lose. It's a nailed on home banker on paper but then again so was Leeds beating Wigan at home in April. I'm predicting a twitchy 1-1 with the knives being sharpened for Mowbray by most on here.
  9. Three points off 3rd place just under halfway through the season - would've never predicted that and absolutely snapped your hand off for it 6 weeks ago. I think yesterday was massive. It was something we could never have achieved last season. I believe we had a similar winning streak actually but there's no way we could've gone to Bristol and got 3 points. TM has gone back to basics and deserves all the plaudits for the turnaround. I could never see that coming 7 games ago and I'm so very happy to be proved wrong. I'm not even 100% sure on how he has done it outside of putting round pegs in round holes. I mean even Amari Bell looked like a proper player yesterday according to most - how the fuck has that happened!? Anway fingers crossed we can sustain it and we've got to take advantage of two relatively easy home games coming up. That's really something we've failed to do this season (Charlton and Luton spring to mind) and if we can get 4-6 points from the next two and actually be in the play offs at the halfway stage I genuinely will start to get excited.
  10. Tony says all sorts of things doesn't he. For example he has also stated that he "talks to them on a human level". I'd like to understand what other level you could talk to humans on?
  11. We'll lose this one. Tony is terrified of the opposition which will transmit onto the players. Plus no Dack. I reckon a 4-1 drubbing followed by a stretch of games with no win against bang average teams.
  12. Happy to take a point before the game and definitely happy considering we were second best. Bit concerning that we weren't great but having won the last four I can excuse a blip. If we get anything out of the Bristol City game I could possibly allow myself to start dreaming of the play offs but deep down I know there will be a 5-10 game wobble that'll cost us.
