  1. Bookies have them as slight favourites, i'm going for a Holtby inspired 1-3. That's if it counts as 'Holtby inspired' despite him not being in the match day squad
  2. Welcome Lewis. Haven't seen this much excitement for a signing in some time, could he take us on to that next level? I do hope so. I'd be a bit happier if he was a striker but it would be remiss of me to complain given the amount of these types of signings during Venkys tenure.
  3. Hang on.. Are you saying Mowbray has a plan? We've only used Buckley once haven't we? And you're suggesting 5-3-2?
  4. Got a bad feeling about this one; utterly appalling to watch, Millwall to snatch it in the 89th minute with their first shot on target, 0-1. Mowbray running out of excuses if this does happen.
  5. Martin Tyler - search his hard drive immediately. That other commentator pr8ck on Sky Sports that shouts every time there is a hint of a chance of a goal because he wants to imitate Tyler's "Agueroooooooooo" moment. Tony Pulis International qualifying - just put the best 12 teams in every tournament and rotate the shitters every 4 years The fact it gives people with a sub 100 IQ the platform to communicate with the public People who can't be objective, top example; Utd fans who think Ronaldo is better than Messi Venkys
  6. You "could do with the £5,000" yet are happy to put £400 on a 12/1 bet? A likely story.
  7. 1-1 for me and I'd probably take that. Going to be balls coming into the box from all angles and whilst I am much more confident that Williams and Lenihan can cope with this style of football I'm worried about the full backs, especially without Cunningham.
  8. And Tony makes the correct substitution as well fuck me
  9. Just goes to show how much Tony's round pegs in square holes approach has an effect doesn't it.... I genuinely thought Williams was one of the worst players I'd ever seen play for Rovers when he was left back. Play him where he's meant to be and he looks absolute class. I wonder how many other players it's having this effect on..
  10. Yeah I get it, it's painful. I've written this season off rightly or wrongly, it's helped with my Rovers related anger levels. In my head it'll be DJ leading us next year with a talented young squad that'll make a decent run at the play offs. Mowbray ain't getting us anywhere near them.
  11. I absolutely promise you that Mowbray will not be leaving if we lose on Saturday, do yourself a favour and get that out of your head.
  12. They've lost £m's on us, you really think Madame is going to be paying attention if Ben f8cking Brereton is playing, give your head a wobble.
  13. This is the only realistic option for me. Hughes not only wouldn't come back I'd worry he'd have the energy to essentially start over again. He came here in 2004 to build his career and quite rightly got the big move in 2008. I seriously doubt he'd want to come back to the club 15 years later with it in a significantly worse position than when he left, plus now with some of the worst owners in football.
  14. I suspect there's something in this. Possibly a cultural thing, losing the amount they are is far more acceptable than losing face.
  15. I wonder if Deloitte gave them a get out plan as part of the piece of work they did for them. Surely at some point they can't keep losing money on us?
