Agreed, but my point was given the absolute shit show of the Venkys reign thus far I'm basking in this transfer windows glory, it literally couldn't have gone any better. And perhaps we are on our way out of the last 8 yrs of shite... excited to see if Tony can do what he really should with the squad he has assembled.

I'd say it's been a 'fairly decent' window improving to 'decent' if we get Douglas. What's been significantly less decent has been this thread - usually I enjoy the utter ridiculousness of it; such as, some bloke in Burnley claiming to be Ben Whiteman's brother saying he is signing for us and posters immediately assuming he's coming. Lovely stuff. However this year has been the same old people sniping back and forward always insisting on getting the last word. Perhaps it's Covid. 100% agree. How confident are you Tony will see it the same though? I back him to not change up a winning team, the challenge will be after the next loss.

Biggest worry for me. Would Dolan have got as much game time if Gallagher was fit? Unlikely. Once he is fit again I'd hope that Tony would be sensible enough to not force him back into the team at the expense of Dolan.
